Susan has been on a weight loss / healthy eating journey since 2013, losing over seven stone. She now runs weight-loss classes and she is an area manager with Slimming World, which is a national organization in the UK
Susan has always had a love of food, and now her social media has become her own space to share her health, fitness, and love of food - all the while encouraging others to transition and thrive on a vegan diet.

In this episode, I want to follow up on last week's podcast where Violet from Positive Outlet and I delved a little into Candida and Autoimmune disorders. This is actually a very interesting, and close to my heart, topic, because it has been the main issue with my health for more than half my lifetime.
Today I will explain what Candida is, the history of it, and how Candida treatments are implemented in both Western & Eastern medical systems. The link between Candida and autoimmune diseases I will touch briefly on today, however, I will do a separate podcast just on this topic at a later stage.
Healthy eating needs to be accompanied by an understanding that the foods we eat should be what our bodies need, rather than being controlled by our urges.
