Keep It Moving is my place to document the journey in real-time, sharing what I’m learning as I navigate change, take action, and build something meaningful. After spending eight years as a full-time caregiver, I found myself searching for what’s next. Along the way, I’ve explored business, fitness, and purpose—all while realizing one simple truth: clarity doesn’t come from overthinking—it comes from action. Whether you're feeling stuck or just want to keep growing, this is a space to learn, reflect, and, most importantly—keep it moving.

Why Caregiving for a Parent Feels Impossible (and What Actually Helps)

In this episode, I sit down with Shauna Sweeney, founder and CEO of tendercare, to talk about the caregiving journey that inspired her to leave a career at Facebook and build one of the most impactful caregiver support platforms today.Shauna shares the deeply personal story of her dad’s early-onset Alzheimer’s diagnosis, what it was like growing up as a single-parent household, and the emotional transition from being a daughter to becoming a caregiver. We explore the highs and lows of family caregiving - from missed insurance deadlines and financial scares to the unexpected gift of finding Da, the trusted caregiver who became part of their family. We also dive into the other side of Shauna’s life: her years at Facebook during its hyper growth era, where she led storytelling, global partnerships, and industry intelligence. She opens up about what it felt like to “hit a plateau” at one of the biggest companies in the world while struggling behind the scenes to manage her father’s care. That contrast, groundbreaking technology at work and broken caregiving systems at home, became the spark that led to tendercare. Today, tendercare provides digital tools, support, and solutions for caregivers: from the Magic Magnet™, a free fridge magnet that gives EMTs instant access to secure medical info, to a caregiver-first app designed to reduce overwhelm and provide clarity in the hardest moments.Shauna reminds us that while technology can never erase the pain of caregiving, it can give families peace of mind and help them focus on what matters most: love, dignity, and presence.

Why You’re Stuck in Life (And How to Break Free)

Most people want more—more success, more opportunities, more impact—but if you’re not stewarding what you already have, why would you be given more? We live in a world obsessed with numbers—views, likes, followers—but what if success isn’t measured by analytics, but by unseen impact? We second-guess sharing our thoughts, encouragement, or content, assuming it won’t matter, but the truth is, impact isn’t always visible. Just because you don’t see the lives you’ve touched doesn’t mean you haven’t made a difference. In this video, I break down why you might feel stuck, the hidden metric that matters more than views, why overthinking is robbing people of blessings, and how biblical stewardship shifts everything. I share how a 997-view podcast changed my life, proving that numbers don’t tell the full story and that social media’s biggest flaw is that it can’t measure real impact. This applies to everything—your content, your money, your relationships, and your time. If you can’t handle what’s in your hands now, how can you expect to receive more?

Losing My Grandma Left Me Lost… Until I Realized This

After a year of searching for my next move, I finally found clarity—but not in the way I expected. If you’ve ever felt stuck, jumping from course to course, community to community, or idea to idea, trying to figure out what’s next, I know exactly how you feel.Since my grandma passed away, I’ve been chasing every opportunity, only to realize that clarity doesn’t come from overthinking—it comes from action. In this episode, I share my journey of trial and error, why movement (both literal and figurative) is the key to progress, and how I finally found my path in helping others move better and live healthier lives. This journey led me back to Functional Range Conditioning (FRC), a system focused on joint health, longevity, and injury prevention. Attending the seminar again was a full-circle moment that made me realize my purpose: helping people stay independent for life, preventing the need for a caregiver later on.Through all the business ideas, courses, and strategies I explored over the past year, I learned:✅ Clarity comes from action, not sitting still.✅ Sustainability over chasing short-term success.✅ Service first—the money will follow.

Did I Use My Grandma for Money?

Recently, I received a comment accusing me of exploiting my grandmother—using her for financial gain, disregarding her dignity, and continuing to profit from her memory. It’s a painful accusation, but instead of ignoring it, I wanted to address it openly and honestly.I understand why someone might feel that way. If you only saw a few of my videos, I can see how it might look like I was using my grandmother for content. To be transparent—no, I never got full, explicit consent from her to share our journey online. She didn’t understand the internet—not because of her age or cognitive function, but simply because it wasn’t something she had ever been exposed to. The idea of making videos and sharing them publicly wasn’t within her frame of reference. I want to be absolutely clear—I never saw that as an opportunity to take advantage of her. That’s not who I am.What truly broke me was this part of the comment, "Thanking God that you can't hurt her anymore."That cut deep. Because the one thing I know, without a doubt, is that my grandmother was safe with me. She was loved. She was cared for in a way that no facility or outside caregiver could have provided. I gave up years of my life to make sure she felt seen, valued, and never like a burden. That’s why I recorded this episode—to break down every core accusation, from financial gain to dignity to consent. My cousin and I also discuss why I continue sharing my caregiving journey today and how this has never been about money—it’s about serving others the way I served my grandmother. You don’t have to agree with me, but I hope you’ll understand where I'm coming from.At the end of the day, the only thing I ever wanted was to serve my grandmother well. I can only hope she’s looking down, proud of the way I carried her legacy forward.Thank you to those who have supported this journey—it means more than you know.
