You're probably thinking of the "big stuff" (job change, promotion, etc).  But we've found that Career is also a lot of the little stuff too (dealing with a crappy manager, lots of org changes, working with difficult co-workers, etc).  The equation isn't simply Career = Change.  Rather, it's Career = Change + Everyday Experiences.

The July 2022 unemployment numbers were released this morning, and the numbers blew away all expectations.  Analysts were predicting just 25,000 additional jobs created during the month.  The reality? Over 525,000+ jobs were added to payroll in July.  I'd call that a big win!

Now how these numbers affect the biggest economic question right now ("Are we or are we not in a recession??") is yet to be seen.  But this is a great sign that one important ingredient (unemployment) is moving in the right direction (and at 50 year lows!).
