Vuonna 1983 joukko nuoria ihmisiä valmistui Luther-opistosta Järvenpäästä. Osa valmistui kirkon nuorisotyön ja osa diakonia-sosiaalityön linjalta. Sama joukko kokoontui 40 vuotta valmistumisen jälkeen kurssitapaamiseen vuonna 2023. Tapaamisessa jaettiin työn ja elämän tapahtumia ja tarinoita. Työelämän polku oli kuljettanut ihmiset eri suuntiin ja erilaisiin sosiaalialan tehtäviin yhteiskunnassa ja kirkossa. Jaetuissa tarinoissa yhtenä isona punaisena lankana oli toivo eri näkökulmista. Halusimme saada nämä tarinat julki.

Tässä nämä nyt ovat. Tarinoissa kiteytyy 40 vuoden työurista nouseva kokemus, viisaus ja hiljainen tieto. Nämä tarinat ovat eräänlaisia matkakertomuksia, kasvutarinoita tai näköalapaikan maisemakuvauksia. Joissain tarinoissa usko ja sen merkitys on tarinoiden pohdinnoissa arkisen luontevasti läsnä, joissain tarinoissa siitä ei puhuta. Mutta jokaisesta tarinasta välittyy yhteinen arvomaailma, jossa oleellista on lähimmäisen rakkaus, toivo ja armollisuus. Se kertoo, mistä me kaikki tulemme.

Tämän podcastin tarinoista löytyy konkretiaan nojaavaa toivorikkautta, jota tarvitsemme juuri nyt.
