Whew. This season flew by as quickly as the years and oh, how the years flew. Our boys are now men, or on their way becoming, and it's funny how letting go feels like ... loss. Not that bone deep, gut searing loss, but that dull throb that kinda follows you around, reminding you that somehow, everything just feels... less.
But we're pushing through and we're sharing techniques that we have employed to turn that feeling into something more positive... one of new connections, new adventures and a new type of relationship with our little loves.
Thanks for riding along this season and thanks for listening to us explore our strange, unfamiliar yet exciting (new normal) nest.
If you've missed any of the episodes, catch up! It's worth your while.
Trust us 😉
This episode may be our most vulnerable and real yet. Ugh we know we have made mistakes (you know the ones that keep playing over in your mind) but we are committed to learn from them. In this episode We're exploring the dangerous territory of "What ifs" and we're asking some soul searching questions like... "Is it something that I did as a parent that is causing the struggle? “
It’s real!
Our advice? Don't be too hard on yourself, be honest and make the adjustments even if they are grown! Never too late to fix! 🙏
'Cause the truth is, none of us knows what we're doing 😆 We're all winging it, depending on each other and wondering constantly if we did ENOUGH.
Let's talk about it. Tune in today and chime in under the comments. We'd love to hear from you!
Now would you look at that! Our boys have grown and flown but still took the time to sit with us and talk about how we communicate with them, now that they are adults. Adults. Wow. It's pretty wild just thinking our boys have now turned men.
Before we get sappy in these captions, we're talking everything from the misses we've had, like posting unflattering photos of them, (but we always think they look good)to the wins we've had, like making the transition from parent-child to friends just a little intentional (well we think we are friends now!)
Come sit with us, listen to the wisdom pouring from these littles ( Lawks we proud). Yes, you will always be little to us @maxmurphy and @jpxwillo, but in this conversation, and in so many moments, your big peopleness, level-headedness and self-assurance blows us away.

Whew! Today, we open up about the emotional shift that happens when our boys grow up and head out into the world. It's heavy. But it's also light knowing that our boys have the skills to thrive in this world.
From the swirl of second-guessing as they leave the nest, to the surprising lessons they teach us as they grow into courageous, kind adults — we’re talking parenting, releasing control, and finding our new rhythm. If you’re caught between holding on and letting go, this one’s for you.
Tune in, exhale, and remember — maybe, just maybe… it's time to release expectations of your adult child/ren. (see what we did there? *wink*)

But we’re loading up, finally for 2025 and we couldn’t be more ready to reconnect with you!

We’re talking:
💭 What does it mean to let go while still keeping the lights on.

💭 How do we make peace and quiet our brains with what’s shifting and still lead with purpose?
It’s a lot of changes.

Did you know that it is believed that the world's longest-lived people do not “exercise.” In the Blue Zones, it was observed that people were nudged into moving about every 20 minutes, either they were gardening, kneading their own bread, farming or some type of active daily routine - essentially, moving naturally!
In this episode, we dive into just that... Natural Movement & The Benefits! We've also enlisted a special guest and Registered Physiotherapist, Adam Chang ( @lift_physio , @mobility.mindset.coach), to tell us more about why we should and how we can incorporate movement naturally. Listen now!
Today we touched on:
💪We don’t have an excuse not to move
💪Reasons why we need to move
💪Movement routine is important
💪Tips for everyday movement
💪Our Movement Guest: Adam Chang
💪Adam’s recommendation for movement as we grow older💪Adam’s opinion on Red light therapy
Honourable mentions:Niki's Kickboxing: @ironlotusacademy
