Disinformation vs. Misinformation: Observing Critical Thinking & The Scientific Method, Featuring Zack Marchildon.
Today I am joined by my "colleague" Zack Marchildon who joins us at Unscholared Health to navigate and discuss the variances in Disinformation and Misinformation in public context. We break down commonalities and reasoning present when a group is misinformed and/or disinformed and critical thinking is challenged in reversing the information present. We discuss it by highlighting how one may better avoid inappropriately presented and poorly researched information, false hypothesis generation, conditioning, ruling out untested versus tested theories, old versus new opinions in research, the scientific method, ontology (epistemology)and some manual therapy to boot. This episode is brought on by patient and listener queries on how to better find solid resources. Do you know the boiling point of water? It is a more malleable fact than you think! Stay tuned and talk soon everyone.
