Digestive Disturbances: Featuring Dr. Hilary LaJoie ND

Today we are joined by Dr. Hilary LaJoie who discusses common factors to look out for when in regards to digestive disturbances. Signs, symptoms and common methods to help test, address and treat. Dr. Hilary Lajoie and I highlight in a very personable approach what a Naturopathic Doctor may recommend in reason when addressing common signs in digestive-related concerns. In return, we express some very simple measures one can take to help!

Dr. Hilary LaJoie is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor in Ontario with a special interest in women’s health, fatigue/burnout and prevention, digestive health, weight management, stress support, pain management, as well as healthy aging and overall health optimization.

As a Naturopathic Doctor, she educates her patients around the principles of healthy living and preventative medicine and empowers them to become their own health advocate. Hilary collaborates with her patients to develop evidence-based and individualized treatment plans that address and support their specific health goals.

Hilary holds a Doctor of Naturopathy degree from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in Toronto. She is an active member and in good standing with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario, the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND), and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND). Prior to her formal education in naturopathic medicine, Hilary completed her undergraduate degree at Western University in Kinesiology. She is also a Registered Kinesiologist (R. Kin.) and a Certified Sports Nutritionist (CISSN).

When not with patients, you'll find her spending time outdoors participating in a variety of physical activities such as running, hiking, volleyball and yoga, spending time with family and friends, and cheering on the Toronto Raptors and Toronto Maple Leafs!
