S3E6 - The Flying 200m bike out in the wild!

Max Uivel and Pat Crowe Rishworth have been working for over a year on a bike with the sole purpose of being really fast in flying 200m time trials. How did the design process work, what's different about it, is it even that fast and should the rest of the world care?

Scooch back to season 1, episode 5 for the first podcast where the bike was a mere twinkle in Max and Pat's eye. Check out a couple of photos of the rig in action on the @wellington.velodrome instagram.

S2E1 - Shaane Fulton - back from nowhere

New Zealand sprint star Shaane Fulton's career almost stopped before it began after a debilitating hip injury. After years of surgeries, rehab and hard work, she's back on top and part of the UCI World Championships in Glasgow.

Shaane hails from Tasman Wheelers, a club with a solid history of producing champions, but there's a connection to Wellington as well as she's had the pleasure of thrashing our riders on a number of occasions.

S1E7 - Weight lifting for cyclists - all the secrets revealed.. including ice cream!

Is eccentric lifting better than concentric for cyclists heading to the gym? What's the most efficient, front, back or pause squats?

This pod answers none of those questions, but does give actual useful information for newcomers thinking about adding weights to their training regime. Elite National medalist turned gym-bro Mike Thomas's main messages are to keep things simple, do it over and over again, and don't hurt yourself.

Plus ice cream before bed (NOT A JOKE).
