Becoming Pregnant (A 2 Year journey): Embracing My Feminine Energy & Spirituality
In this first episode of 2021 I share my experience of trying to become pregnant over 2 years from 2018 to 2020. Learning about & connecting with my feminine energy & embracing my spirituality helped me hugely on this journey & I want to share how these things helped me. Many women & many couples struggle to become pregnant & each journey is unique & different. Because it is such a sensitive topic, the struggles that many face are rarely discussed. I simply want to share my experience & open up the dialogue & hopefully inspire some hope for anyone who might be facing challenges on their own pregnancy journey. Quitting Alcohol: My Experience
A little over 2 years ago, I decided it was time to call it a day with alcohol and I haven’t drank alcohol since. In this episode, I share the reasons why I quit alcohol & how I have found the experience. I also answer some questions that came in about this topic via Instagram. Mainly, I quit alcohol because it was increasingly causing me to experience greater anxiety & I was using it as a crutch on nights out to feel more chatty and sociable. I decided I wanted to show up as my authentic genuine self all of the time and not just some of the time and I also wanted to stop putting myself through those awful days after nights out where I experienced “the fear” and that feeling of a dark cloud hanging over. So I gave up alcohol and haven’t looked back since. If you’re looking to quit alcohol or become more informed about the benefits of drinking less alcohol, check out drinkaware.ie. If you’d like to get in touch with me you can find me on Instagram @thriveforlife.aislingdaly or drop me an email aisling@thriveforlife.ie.

Body Scan Meditation for Calm
I decided to do something a little bit different to usual for Episode number 50 of the podcast. This is a guided body scan meditation to help you bring more calm into your day. I have been meditating regularly for over a year and it really helps me to ease anxiety & brings more calm into my life. I also use meditation in my Empowerment Coaching sessions with my clients quite regularly & have witnessed how beneficial it can be to drop out of your head, into your body & go within. We are exposed to so much noise (from social media, the news, etc) each day & meditation provides an opportunity to simply go within. We have so much wisdom within & meditation allows us to connect in with that. This guided meditation takes just over 14 minutes & you will be guided through each stage of it. So dim the lights, get comfortable and enjoy! If you’d like to get in touch drop me an email to aisling@thriveforlife.ie, check out my website www.thriveforlife.ie or follow me on Instagram @thriveforlife.aislingdaly.
