You finally get the win… then your brain whispers “you don’t belong here.” In this episode I break down why imposter syndrome hits hardest in your 20s, how social media warps your self-image, and a simple playbook to act with confidence before you feel ready. We’ll cover reframes, evidence stacking, and a quick test to tell humility from self-sabotage - plus a community Q&A at the end.
You’ll learn:
✅ Why imposter syndrome = proof you’re growing
✅ How to stop comparing your Year 2 to someone else’s Year 10
✅ “Confidence follows competency” (and how to build both)
✅ A 4-step toolkit: reframe, stop the comparison, collect evidence, talk it out

We’ve turned “independence” into an aesthetic - solo dinners, glow-up routines, “protect your peace.”
But if we’re so independent, why do so many of us feel lonely multiple times a week?
In this episode I unpack how independence ≠ isolation, why modern dating feels broken, how “boundaries” sometimes become walls, and the practical shifts to rebuild real connection - without losing yourself.

12 months ago, I was living what looked like the dream — Bali villa, girlfriend, dogs, freedom, and money. But it didn’t feel like me anymore. So I blew it all up and started from zero.
In this episode, I share what it’s really like to rebuild your life in your 20s — how to know when it’s time for a change, why starting over doesn’t mean failure, and the exact steps I used to reset from scratch.
We’ll talk values, alignment, and how to design a life that actually feels good, not just looks good.

In your 20s, it feels like everyone else is miles ahead - getting married, buying houses, landing dream jobs - while you’re still piecing things together.
This episode breaks down the pressure to “have it all figured out,” why that expectation is flawed, and how to reframe your 20s as a time for growth, mistakes, and progress over perfection.
I share personal stories (like moving back in with my parents after Bali), unpack the trap of social media comparison, and offer simple reframes to stop feeling “behind.”

Everyone online makes Bali look like a dream: coconuts, pool villas, working two hours a day from a laptop. I lived it for 2.5 years — and while parts of it were incredible, the reality is way more complicated.
In this episode, I break down what life as a digital nomad in Bali is really like. The freedom, the hidden costs, the loneliness, the constant pressure to “live the dream”… and why it didn’t fully click for me. If you’ve ever thought about moving overseas, this one’s for you.Chapters:

The Post-School Podcast is back!
This isn’t self-help, it’s a space for honest conversations about the chaos of your 20s - money, breakups, moving out, bad decisions, good lessons, and the pressure to have life sorted when nobody actually does.
In this episode, I’ll share what’s changing with the podcast, where I’ve been, and why I want this to be more about real stories and less about polished advice.
Think of it as a weekly check-in with an older brother... unfiltered, sometimes messy, but always honest.

Bec Hardgrave is a breath of fresh air... she makes healthy living fun and I LOVE THAT! I've always struggled to stay consistent with dieting, healthy eating, and habit tracking, but, after speaking with Bec and seeing what she posts on TikTok and Instagram, I'm realising that strict dieting isn't necessarily the only way to a healthier lifestyle.
This podcast episode was all about improving the 80% (hard work and healthier living) without sacrificing the 20% (pleasure foods and fun). I knew nothing about politics before today's conversation. I didn't understand how our political system functioned, I didn't understand why my vote mattered, I didn't even understand how my concerns could be raised among local council. These are all things that I believe are vital to the successful progression of the beautiful democracy we call home - Australia.
Sit down with myself and Cooper Chapman, a good mate of mine who is doing incredible work in the mental health field, as we discuss politics with James Griffin, the liberal member for Manly and the NSW Minister for Environment and Heritage. The reason why I think this episode is SO refreshing is because James is able to answer our questions in a way that feels like a normal conversation with a mate, not a conversation with a politician.
This episode is educational at heart. It was recorded so we could all learn a thing or two about politics in Australia from people who aren't boring (if I do say so myself)...

Sam Raward grew up on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, but just before COVID hit he made a choice to pack his things and move to the Gold Coast. Since the move, he's created multiple streams of income through online mediums that allow him to work his own hours, at his own pace. Oh, he also drives a Lambo...
This chat with Sam was inspiring for a few standout reasons. Firstly, the guy knows how to get shit done. He also knows what he DOESN'T want, and that goes a long way to figuring out what you do want. Sam proves that you can create any life for yourself if you want it bad enough and you're willing to persevere through the inevitable adversities life throws at you.
