This episode has been on my mind for a long time... But I didn't have the right words to appropriately express what I wanted to convey. I hope to give you strength that if you decide to stay, or go, you get to make it mean whatever you want about yourself. Quiet the noise of society and decide for yourself how to tell your story.

Today's episode isn't meant to teach you or tell you what to do. Today I'm sharing my experience with the question "should we have more kids?". This was a long process of making a decision. I had to take a look at expectations of myself from every direction. I share with you interesting thoughts I found influencing my decision on autopilot, and how I made a decision that I'm confident in.
This episode is a little out of the norm for me, but maybe, just maybe, It'll help someone who is in similar waters. Love you all!

This week we're taking a spiritual dive into trials. I'm pulling out a message I gave years ago to my church congregation. I love intertwining my knowledge of how our minds work and my knowledge of the divine. Many of these thoughts provide comfort and direction in times of deep sorrow and trial. I hope this message gives you inspiration and insight in your own trials, and how to find more peace amidst the struggle.
Leading with compassion will help you experience more love to feel and love to give. Today we talk about a simple mindset shift that will ease tension in situations threatening to erupt. Let me share with you a "slap in the face" moment that allowed me to take a minute, decide my reaction, and choose a response that I'm proud of.

Michael Hyatt gives a spot on example of self conditioning in his book Your Best Year Ever. The example had me stop what I was doing, pause the audio, and contemplate real life examples. We talk about it in today's podcast. It's mind blowing to me to see where we condidion ourselves to think and act in ways that supposedly keep us safe.
Listen in!
When dealing with a bad guy in your story or trying to get past judgment of one you love... This is the starting point that creates so much authentic change. Our self preserving brain wants to start on the actions and words to make a situation right. We want to know how to act and what to do about this person or situation..
But I promise the one place that will make this process a little easier for you is to soften your view of the villian.
If you can get past that outer layer where we want to defend and judge, the inner core creates compassion and empathy.
When you change YOUR state of being, the actions to take and the words to say flow a little easier.
Listen in to understand the outer layer and inner core.

I hope you use this concept to give yourself and others hope and grace.

I've noticed a habit among myself and my peers. Social media and amazing inventions like Amazon have brought so many good things to the world. But it's easy to get stuck in a habit of consuming. Seeing homes, fashion, and even bodies, at their best angel, in their best moment... It's easy for our brains to find fault in our surroundings, causing discontentment.
So today's episode I want to share with you my year of learning to create more contentment in my own life.
What is a codependent relationship? How do you recognize if you are in one? How do you make a change? Today we're talking about this buzz word of Codependency.
