It's the last episode of Season 3!
Time has flown by so fast, let's reflect on this Season and also talk about what time has taught me and this period of Lockdown.
My biggest hope for life after this lockdown – with so much that withered and with so much that was unveiled for us. I hope that whatever we find in this season be the light that we follow into the next season. We don't have to resume on where we left off with the previous normal but rebuild a new normal for ourselves.
This is a very short episode, do enjoy.
From me, keep well and keep safe.
Until then, goodbye.

In the guest chair today we have Sinenhlanhla Ndlela who is the founder of Yococo dairy free ice-cream. With a background in TV writing and post-production, Sinenhlanhla taught herself how to make ice-cream and run a small business. What first intrigued me and I got to love the most is how she is able to creatively blend in parts of herself into the ice-cream making, that is her vegan lifestyle and the spiritual aspect. In our conversation, she mentions how she is fulfilled whenever she is in a place where she can serve and through Yococo she is able to serve love through scoops.
This conversation was recorded months ago just after her solo-cation and you'll get to hear parts of that story.
This is what we further spoke about;
1. What gave her the courage to start the business without any prior experience in ice-cream making
2. How was the ice-cream first received in the market and what were some of the challenges she encountered in getting it out there
3. What she mainly considers for her collaborative works
4. Her approach with setbacks
5. How is she able to wear many hats in her business without burning out
6. And finding purpose.
I hope that you do take something from this conversation today, do enjoy.

Today's podcast episode is a solo-episode. I decided to have myself on the guest chair. Each year on my birthday I reflect on what I know for sure by listing down things I know for sure and the list will be equivalent to my age. So since yesterday, the 27 April, was my 27th birthday today is a birthday special and I am dishing 27 things I know for sure. I do encourage you to join in and share your list.
Please note that some of the things in this episode may not necessarily be anyone's truth, but are derived purely from what I have come to know based on the life I have lived to this point. I am hoping that you will take out something from it. Do enjoy!

On social media platforms, she shares her knowledge as a skincare influencer.
In our conversation today you will hear about;
1. How she found out that she had these Mental Health issues and what prompted her to go for a diagnosis
2. How her healing journey looks like every day
3. Her morning routine or a spiritual practice that starts her day
4. When did her journey and passion for skin and hair care all begin
5. The most underrated thing about the work as an influencer & her biggest lesson in this industry?
6. The one book that changed her perspective on life

WE ARE BACK | NEW SEASON
After some time of thinking through going back to corporate, I have decided to do so. In this episode today, that is our very first for 2020 and for the new season, I have an honest talk on what made me decide to go back to a 9-5 day job.
My hope with this episode is to remove the shame or disappointment that we often feel when we have to go back to a place that we thought we were leaving for good. To really say, it's okay to do it if it is for your own personal good and growth. When things do not pan out the way we thought they would, that does not mean we should remain in one place holding on to old hopes. We have to make a move.
Like I said, this for me is not a step back but one step I needed to make to enable the one going forward. Good thing though, the podcast still continues.
This is what you can expect from today's episode;
1. Why I resigned in the first place
2. How I then started the podcast and the journey of it
3. What I learned in between, and what then made me decide to go back to corporate
4. Prioritizing Joy this decade.

This is the season finale. Season 2 has finally come to an end and this time I wanted to end the season with information sharing. In today's pod-episode I had a conversation with Nozipho Ngoma, who is a Human Resource professional. We spoke about a topic that when I was in corporate I was not comfortable to bring it up with the Human resource team in fear that it might jeopardize my position. So I invited Nozipho to talk about side-hustles or Passion Projects as a working employee and the term we all know, Conflict of Interest. In this episode, she shares with us her HR expertise around this topic. We further touched on the incredible work that her organization (GenZet) is doing for girls in the township. You can find the full part of what GenZet does on Youtube.
We also agreed that to collaborate for Season 3 to bring you short episodes on HR 101 that cover questions you might feel uneasy approaching HR about or just needed more clarity on. You will have to let us know what you would love to hear.
Do give us feedback on what you enjoyed the most about this episode.
Enjoy!

Today's pod-episode left me with aha moments and a deep desire to continue in pursuit of one's true purpose. I am always inspired by women in our country who work tirelessly to effect change and to better the lives of our people. In this conversation, I had the honor to interview a remarkable woman who believes our purpose on this earth is to be of service to each other. I sat down with Dudu Mkhwanazi who is the CEO of Project Isizwe, an NPO which advocates for digital inclusion for low-income communities. In 2017, at just 26 she became the youngest CEO of the organization. Dudu holds a Masters Degree in Public Policy and Comparative Politics from the Universite Montpellier, in France. She does it all while also being a mom to a beautiful girl.
This episode uncovered her journey from Politics to Tech and what she had to quickly learn when she occupied this leadership role. We further touched on the pressure of being the first in the family, motherhood and mental wellness.
Do give us feedback on what you enjoyed the most about this episode.
Enjoy!

Today it’s a very short solo episode, I decided to plug out from working on autopilot and just have a heart and honest conversation with you. I’m talking about the waiting season and why how you define your own success matters. Got to also feature the book by Mark Manson The subtle art of not giving a f@*#, and now that I’ve finally read it I would certainly recommend.
Don’t forget to give us your feedback, rate and review the podcast on iTunes so I can continue bringing you groundbreaking guests.
Have a lovely week ahead 🌻.

In today's pod-episode I had a conversation with Amanda Kandawire-Khoza, to uncover her journey in Aviation. She is a First Officer (Pilot) on the Airbus 380, an entrepreneur and mentor from Soweto. She prefers describing herself as the girl from next-door to showcase that it take no extraordinary person to achieve extraordinary things, anyone can do it really. She is the founder of Fly Like A Girl (FLAG) which is an accessories brand with a message to empower and celebrate our country's rich cultures.
In our conversation today she shared how having that blind-faith, can-do attitude and believing in your dreams had her achieving one of her greatest dreams, which was to become a pilot. She also shared some of the challenges in getting into aviation and the limiting beliefs one has to unlearn and do away with to survive in aviation.
I do hope you learn a thing or two from this episode. Do enjoy.
