Guess what, loves?
The Introverts Chat is turning one today!🎂🎂
For today’s anniversary episode, I’d like to share with you about my own reflections to this question:
“If I could go back in time, what would I tell my younger self?”
Having fully embraced my introverted personality now, I know that my introversion is a SUPERPOWER on its own.
Your own company is enough.
Having one close loyal friend is so valuable rather than a few who are nowhere to be found when you need them.
Your listening & observation skills will help others to seek comfort in you.
Because you make them feel heard & understood, loves.
Your definition of success is not going to be the same like everyone else’s.
You too can be successful whilst still embracing & staying true to your introverted self.
You get to create your own version of success.
You get to create your own version of a full, inspired life.
How about you, loves?
If you could go back in time, what would you tell your younger self?

“Why are you so quiet”?
Let me guess,
You get asked this question A LOT.
Somehow, our society thinks it is no problem to ask this question, but,
If you flick the switch & ask why someone is so loud,
Then it is not acceptable.
Not fair, isn’t it?
Just because you are more into the quieter side, this does not mean that you are rude or shy.
Just because you love spending some time in solitude, this does not mean you do not like socializing or you are a sensitive person.
While these might ring true for some, these are not what introversion is.
In Today’s episode, we are going to debunk the most common misconceptions about introverts, and, how to not let these define how your life is going to look like.
Meet our guest today, Sam Dhu, a psychotherapist and a passionate advocate for being radically kind and compassionate to yourself.
As a highly sensitive person Sam believes it is possible to be deeply ambitious and successful, AND soft and sensitive at the same time.
Listen here where we talk about:
✅ How to not let these misconceptions define who you are & what you do.
✅ The differences between introversion & other personality traits.
✅ How honoring your needs is a key to creating your own version of a full, inspired life.
And lastly but not least, Sam shares with us a tip on how to handle that most annoying question that we often get asked: Why are you so quiet?
I hope you love this episode as much as I love recording this for you

Hands up if you like small talk 🙋♀️
Well…
I’ll take that as a no!.
Not going to lie, I don’t like them myself.
However,
Deep, long-lasting friendships and connections are often formed on what started off as a small talk.
In fact, studies show small talk forms one-third of our speech in life,
This is something that caught me by surprise - even though it does make sense.
Meet Nicole Jeanne @itsnicolejeanne
Nicole is an introvert, a retired wallflower, and your people skills coach.
With a childhood full of memories of feeling lonely, awkward, and uneasy when it came to
making friends, she always felt different from other people.
For over a decade, she learned how to speak up confidently, connect with others and cultivate meaningful relationships.

In fact, she can instantly connect with someone within minutes and no longer feels drained by social situations.

Welcome to another episode of the Introverts Chat Podcast
There have been so many questions asked about what is the best job for introverts.
The most common answers that I’ve been seeing are any jobs that can be performed from home & limited-to-zero interaction with other people.
Whilst there are some truths to that, however there are also those individuals who, despite their introverted nature, still want to socialize - selectively, in their own way, in their own time. When they choose to. When they want to.
And I've come to the conclusion that there is no one definite answer to this question.
Any jobs that are:
💓 Aligned with your passion
💓 Aligned with your values,
💓 The one where it lights you up,
💓 The one that excites you,
💓 The one that brings you joy,
To the point where work feels so easeful it doesn’t feel like work anymore 💻
They really are the best - whether or not they might be perceived as the extroverted area of expertise.
Like our guest here today, whom I am so excited to share her story with you all.
Meet Courtney Ferguson.
Courtney is a multifaceted individual whose passion for acting and teaching has shaped her remarkable journey.
Beyond her passion for acting, Courtney's role as a voice teacher is to empower aspiring artists, guiding them to discover their own unique vocal abilities they didn’t know were possible.
Listen here where we talk about:
✅ How her love for acting leads her to pursuing a career on stage despite it being perceived as an extroverted area.
✅ The importance of having her non-negotiables & boundaries in place to thrive in a high-energy performing world.
✅ The ‘Unspoken’ rules or expectations that have been placed upon us either by us or someone else, and, how to manage them

So many talks out there about putting yourself first, make yourself a priority, self-care, or whatever else you want to call it,
But,
💭 Does it feel like an extra task on your seemingly-endless to-do list?
💭 Does it feel like something you don’t have the time for?
💭 Does it feel like something you can’t afford to do or make time for?
💭 There is so much mixed information about this and you don’t even know where to start?
I hear you!
Let me tell you loves, unless you make the time to look after yourself first, eventually you will be ‘forced’ to make the time for it - in the form of burnouts, sickness, high stress levels, and many others.
