Welcome to another episode of the Introverts Chat Podcast
There have been so many questions asked about what is the best job for introverts.
The most common answers that I’ve been seeing are any jobs that can be performed from home & limited-to-zero interaction with other people.
Whilst there are some truths to that, however there are also those individuals who, despite their introverted nature, still want to socialize - selectively, in their own way, in their own time. When they choose to. When they want to.
And I've come to the conclusion that there is no one definite answer to this question.
Any jobs that are:
💓 Aligned with your passion
💓 Aligned with your values,
💓 The one where it lights you up,
💓 The one that excites you,
💓 The one that brings you joy,
To the point where work feels so easeful it doesn’t feel like work anymore 💻
They really are the best - whether or not they might be perceived as the extroverted area of expertise.
Like our guest here today, whom I am so excited to share her story with you all.
Meet Courtney Ferguson.
Courtney is a multifaceted individual whose passion for acting and teaching has shaped her remarkable journey.
Beyond her passion for acting, Courtney's role as a voice teacher is to empower aspiring artists, guiding them to discover their own unique vocal abilities they didn’t know were possible.
Listen here where we talk about:
✅ How her love for acting leads her to pursuing a career on stage despite it being perceived as an extroverted area.
✅ The importance of having her non-negotiables & boundaries in place to thrive in a high-energy performing world.
✅ The ‘Unspoken’ rules or expectations that have been placed upon us either by us or someone else, and, how to manage them
✅ To never let your introversion be an excuse not to follow your passion in life.
I hope you love this episode as much as I enjoyed recording this for you!
