Key considerations for luxury bathrooms include heated floors (which can be retrofitted), heated towel bars, and docking drawers to keep cords organized and off the counter. Alicia also noted the growing trend of using bold colors, jewel tones, statement wallpaper, and tile drenching on entire bathroom walls. She warned that chandeliers over bathtubs are now heavily restricted or prohibited by local building codes.
