Welcome Olivia Hook the Director of Oklahoma Department of Transportation’s Mobility Management Program!

Everyone needs transportation. Getting from one place to another is what drives growth, independence, and connecting with social groups and building community! Oklahoma Mobility Management helps connect you with transportation systems that are closest to you and your community- from densely populated cities to small, rural communities- there is a mode of transportation out there for you if you are in need of adaptable, accommodating modes of transportation.

If you or someone you love has specific accommodations or transportation accessibility needs- ODOT wants to hear from you, and a Mobility Manager is on standby to assist you as well as answer your questions!

The Hidden Workforce
Listening for a Lifetime- Hearts for Hearing, Dr. Nikki Pain and Audiology Assistant, Kara Westhoff Ep. 182

We want you to HEAR the incredible work of our guests on this week’s Episode 182 of The Hidden Workforce!

Welcome Dr. Nikki Pain and Audiology Assistant Kara Westhoff from Hearts for Hearing to the Hidden Workforce!

Hearts for Hearing is a nonprofit organization that helps people in their hearing loss journey throughout their lifespan. They especially emphasize early intervention with children who are in need of audiology services- and offer to help these needs free of cost from ages 0-3 since this is such a crucial time for hearing/speech development- this is part of the nonprofit part of their organization. Children are served throughout their childhood, teen years, and into adulthood as they navigate the services they need in their hearing journeys.

Adults who struggle with hearing loss are also welcome to the Hearts for Hearing Clinic through their hearing loss journey as well! When an adult chooses to purchase their hearing aides at Hearts for Hearing- this helps to fund the equipment and needs for the nonprofit component of their organization- so no matter what you choose, you are giving back to families in need!

Tune in to hear more about Hearts for Hearing and the amazing impact they are making for families and loved ones in the deaf and hard of hearing community. You don’t want to miss this!
