In this episode, Health Coach Ev is talking to Heather Gray, FDN-P.
Heather Gray is a Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner who found FDN back in 2013 while searching for answers on how to better her own health after being diagnosed with Lyme Disease that she had for over 23 years! She has always loved alternative medicine, as she learned about herbs her senior year in hopes those could help her depression and anxiety and that she could stay off antidepressants and antipsychotic medications. She has also dealt with Celiac disease, mold toxicity, chemical sensitivities, chronic pain, endometriosis, chronic fatigue, memory loss, and so much more. Now she runs her own business while running a household and taking classes on how to retrain the brain out of trauma. She is also an avid salsa dancer and loves the ocean.

About our guest, Raewyn Guerrero:
Raewyn has lived and worked in London since 2001. She founded a Virtual Wellbeing Practice, Well Works in 2017 which offers bespoke nutrition and psychotherapy programs for high-achieving executives to recover from burnout, so they can feel energized, aligned and unstoppable.
Prior to 2017, she spent 6 years as the Global Wellbeing Manager at a multi-national bank, developing group wellness programmes for those struggling with 21st Century chronic health conditions, such as stress, anxiety, depression, IBS, back and neck pain, and obesity.
In 2012, she introduced 6 week Mindful Awareness workshops to employees with the aim of reducing stress, and improving focus, clarity and creativity, and facilitated regular Balance at Barclays weekly drop-in meditation sessions. This was a huge achievement as meditation at that time was very much taboo. She was a member of the All Party Parliamentary Group for Mindfulness in the Workplace from 2015 – 2016 tasked with making stress reduction and anxiety a priority for Government Policy and Public Health.
At Well Works, she now integrates Personalized Nutrition with CBT and Meditation to bring about rapid transformation in the mental and physical health of individuals and organizations.

About our guest, Judith Hall:
"I help women heal naturally without doctors using functional lab testing and biblical principles.
I am a retired Broadway dancer, restauranteur, and wine buyer, from New York, and I was at a point where I accepted that my lifelong health issues were just "normal-for-me".
But the recession hit and my health took a steep nosedive. Doctors couldn't help me, and they never had been able to help me.
After I moved to Florida I got divorced and became a single mom. I decided to go back to school for nutrition, graduated, and in 2013 started both my blog and health coaching by doing meal plans for people. However the next year my health got even worse and I could no longer work full time, so I ended up on food stamps and Medicaid. But, I found a great church and learned to put my health in God's hands.
I started researching everything I could about my health issues and watched every free online health summit I possibly could, and this was how I was led to FDN, where I finally learned how to heal myself WITHOUT DOCTORS.
And when my health started to improve, part of my healing was that God also restored my marriage!
And so, here I am today--empowered by those tools that helped me heal after all those years of struggle, and I feel AMAZING! This is why I’m so passionate about what I do."

Hey my friends!
You've heard my girlfriend, Falyn, on the show before, but something we've never gotten into is her own personal health journey.
Falyn got serious about bodybuilding and weightlifting in her twenties, but eventually learned that these two things don't always equal being healthy. After losing her period and experiencing various other symptoms (such as dizziness just from walking), she knew she had to make a change.
You'll be hearing a lot more from Fal on this show, especially on the OTA (off the air) episodes.
Give her a follow on Instagram! @falynhuntermorningstar

In this episode, we interview a great buddy of mine, someone that I've probably podcasted with more than anyone else at this point, Ryan Monahan.
Ryan Monahan is an FDN-P, Clinical Advisor to the Medical Director Program at FDN, and Certified AIP Coach. He has a passion for uncovering hidden stressors that contribute to thyroid disease. He spent over 10 years visiting more than 40 health professionals to find answers to his chronic health complaints until being diagnosed with Hashimoto’s in 2012. Since then, his mission has been to change the dialogue about chronic disease towards a holistic, functional approach while helping others restore their health to normal function.
Typically, his clients are people who have struggled with finding relief from their autoimmune symptoms. Oftentimes, they feel that they’ve “tried everything," and that traditional medicine hasn’t served them. In his experience, there is a better way.

Hey folks!
I felt inspired to make a really brief episode this evening. I think all of us (myself included at times) are underestimating the effect that the state of the world is having on our health and our habits.
Now, do we want to justify bad habits on external circumstances? Of course not. However, there is a difference between a justification and an explanation. And once we have an explanation of things, we can start to make better choices.
Let me know if you found this episode useful.

In this episode, we interview a good internet-friend of mine, Mallory Gothelf! She has had a very simliar journey to me in terms of dealing with and addressing her mental health issues. In addition, she has turned her pain around and used it to serve others, eventually founding her company, Find Yourself Boxes (findyourselfboxes.com).
We also have a repeat guest, Connie Guerin, who is an integrative psychotherapist!
During this show, we got to hear both the clinical and personal side of things when it comes to Mallory's mental health journey. This is a must listen to for anyone out there, ESPECIALLY parents, who have kids with mental health challenges!
