Quantum Healing through Truth & Touch with Dr. Christine Smith

In this Breaking Normal conversation, Dr. Christine Smith opens up in ways that go far beyond health data or protocols. Through a series of rapid-fire, curiosity-driven questions, we explore everything from the hidden injuries that silently drain vitality, to the overlooked body signals that whisper “something’s off,” to the myths about healing that hold us back. Our exchange moves fluidly between the physical and the philosophical—diving into subconscious rewiring, the strange beliefs people carry without realizing it, and even the big, playful question of who she was before the sperm met the egg. Along the way, Christine shares the moment she stopped trying to fit into any narrative and simply started speaking her truth—a shift that sparked quantum leaps in both her business and her life. One of her strongest convictions surfaces again and again: the modern healthcare system’s lack of touch. For Christine, touch is not just comforting—it’s medicine, a missing link that could transform patient care and human connection. This is a journey through depth, vulnerability, and empowerment, all tied together by a commitment to living—and healing—authentically.Connect with Dr. Christine Smith:    •    Website: depthwellness.com (https://www.depthwellness.com)    •    Instagram: @drchristinesmith (https://www.instagram.com/drchristinesmith)Get the book on Audible!https://www.audible.com/pd/Self-Development/Breaking-Normal-Audiobook/B074G49CW2Get the book on Amazon!https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071SBC7NC/ref=sr_1_16?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1495314934&sr=1-16&keywords=motivational+self+help+help_________STAY IN TOUCH ↣WEBSITE: http://breakingnormal.com↣FACEBOOK: https://www.facebook.com/DanielEisenman↣INSTAGRAM: https://instagram.com/DanielEisenman↣TWITTER: https://twitter.com/DanielEisenman

The Breaking Normal Podcast
God is the Father Now with Steph Hendel

First episode, where everyone, including the producer was crying. This episode starts with me laughing like a goofball—remembering the moment I met Steph Hendel on September 28, 2012, at a RawBrahs retreat I was hosting with my brothers. It’s the day I met Diana—Divina’s mom—and the day Steph’s entire life took a new trajectory that eventually led her to reunite with he dream man, Josh Tarnofsky.

From there, the story only gets wilder: Steph, Diana, my brother Timothy, my business partner, and I all ended up traveling together through Peru for a month. It was kind of the world’s longest first date… and our friend-turned-fifth-wheel might’ve been the best fifth wheel in history. We talk about hiking Machu Picchu, getting robbed (and how the police somehow seemed sketchier than the thieves), and what it’s like to share a tiny room where I spent a whole night diarrhea-ing before asking Diana to be my girlfriend—with absolutely nothing left to hide.

And then… the laughter dissolves into tears I still don’t fully understand.

We talk about the supernatural love story between Steph and Josh—from a Breaking Normal proposal atop Angel’s Landing to their unforgettable wedding that I had the honor of officiating. We talk about Josh’s transition, and Steph’s raw walk through widowhood, parenting, and relentless prayer. Her heartbreak. Her hope. Her healing. Her realization that even though Josh is gone, her children are not fatherless—because God is the Father now.

She’s now back on the road with her two children, led by trust, speaking at widow’s retreats, and listening to God without needing the full plan.

My producer Yovel said this was the most powerful podcast we’ve ever recorded. I don’t disagree.

Fearless Fermentation from Barefoot Boulder Badassador — Yoshua Greenfield

In this barefoot Boulder broadcast, I’m joined by Yoshua Greenfield (formerly Josh of Brothers Green), a fearless fermenter, regenerative farmer, and unapologetically off-grid dad. Together, we explore the ancient art and modern magic of fermentation—from the simplicity of sauerkraut to indigenous spit beer (chicha)—and the deeper meaning behind preserving and enlivening our superfoods and ourselves.

Yoshua showed up barefoot with fresh goat milk, pickled eggs, and a book featuring him as a wild child on the cover. We discussed his 15-month-old daughter thriving on raw liver and raw milk, never having seen a doctor or received a vaccine. We also examined his feet (literally) and talked about the risk-reward ratio of going barefoot, while strolling through stories of his foot-doctor family background.

We also reflected on the uncanny timing of our personal journeys—both going through divorces and landing in Boulder around the same time—only to now find ourselves rooted, thriving, and rarely leaving, almost like local legends who let the land lead.

This episode weaves together themes from recent guests—Alice from The Golden Hoof, Andre from Jacob Springs, and Sean the honey whisperer—into an idea: what if we hosted an immersive Boulder-based Breaking Normal retreat? Think: honey harvesting, bison butchering, cow and goat milking, wild fermentation, and radical connection.

A feast for the soul and stomach alike—tune in and taste what it means to live fermented, free, and fully alive.

Apply Here to Have My Children with Dustin Hogart from Wazoo Gear

We kicked off this episode by literally breaking into our studio—lock-picking our way inside with a crew of synchronicity and symbolism. It felt like a perfect metaphor for my life lately: sometimes, you’ve got to find another way in.Once we got rolling, the gifts began—Dustin bartered bear fat and a one-of-a-kind hand-selected stone necklace that’s not just jewelry, but a functional survival tool crafted from all-natural materials (shoutout to @wazoogear (https://www.instagram.com/wazoogear) and wazoogear.com (https://www.wazoogear.com)). I returned the love with some bison tallow from Tribe Vitamins, and we even cracked open caviar with our podcast producer.Somewhere in the middle, things got juicy: Dustin revealed that after our previous episode—where he declared his intention to find a wife and have as many children as possible—he followed through… by launching an actual application process on Instagram. And guess what? It worked. He’s now with a beautiful partner. This turned into a bit of a therapy session for me, as I faced my own reflections around that same desire—and what it means to own it publicly. We also explore:    •    His annual 100+ mile cruiser bike pilgrimage from Athens, GA    •    His upcoming European adventure guiding 15 high school grads with his best friends    •    The paradox of privilege used for purpose—how his upbringing gave him wings and how he’s flying with them    •    A powerful, tear-jerking segment about his mother’s passing, the speech of a lifetime he gave at her funeral, and the spiritual signs he’s received since. He shares his belief that she passed from a vaccine injury, and that moment marked his transition into manhood. This episode is wild, weird, touching, hilarious, and healing. You’ll laugh. You’ll cry. And yes—you might even want to apply to have his children.Get the book on Audible!https://www.audible.com/pd/Self-Development/Breaking-Normal-Audiobook/B074G49CW2Get the book on Amazon!https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071SBC7NC/ref=sr_1_16?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1495314934&sr=1-16&keywords=motivational+self+help+help_________STAY IN TOUCH ↣WEBSITE: http://breakingnormal.com↣FACEBOOK: https://www.facebook.com/DanielEisenman↣INSTAGRAM: https://instagram.com/DanielEisenman↣TWITTER: https://twitter.com/DanielEisenman
