Dearest Fellow Seekers The theme for this weeks Prayer Journey is Devine Love. The flow of love that the Devine has for YOU in every moment is unearned, constant, unending and ceaseless ……… what’s missing is your awareness of it, attention to it and openness to receive it. So on this Prayer Journey I invite you to take the time just to BE in this love which you have nothing to do to gain, nothing to do to make yourself worthy of…….. Nothing to do other than be open and allow. On the journey today, I lead you into a period of silent prayer, by giving voice to a wonderful poem prayer by Edwina Gately called Let your God Love You. The journey will then move forward with some reflective prompts guiding you to the end of the Path. Have a Peaceful Journey.

09 October 19 Dearest Fellow Seekers. I am honoured to bring you this weeks episode of The Prayer Path The theme for this weeks journey on The Prayer Path is Peace. Richard Rohr, in a recent meditation, refers to St. Francis whose definition of ‘peace to the world’ was inclusive in the absolute. ‘Sun, moon, animals, plants, elements and ALL humans are shown the same reverence and are all ‘brothers’ and ‘sisters’ to us all united with us through unity with God'. It is this posture of peace that I invite you to take with you as you travel the Prayer Path this week. The Prayer consists of 3 elements: 1. Music - Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu. Sung by Jane Winther (FB - @unisound.dk) 2. Vow of Non Violence - Richard Rohr, Centre for Action and Contemplation (cac.org) 3. Dearest Fellow Seekers. Welcome to The Prayer Path. This week I’ve felt gently guided by the spirit, to bring you a prayer journey, inspired by a person who while only living a very short life of 24 years, has been canonised as a saint, has been made a doctor of the Roman Catholic Church, is recognised as one of a more modern generation of Christian mystics and has cultivated an enourmous devotion that crosses the boundaries of religious tradition. St. Therese of Lisieux, also affectionately known as ‘The Little Flower’, in her practice of her ‘Little Way’ opened her heart completely and courageously poured out unwaivering love on all with whom she came into contact however challenging. He simple way’s of kindness, compassion and love, which she determined were how she became closer to God, are an inspiration to us all. In todays prayer journey, adapting some words by Joyce Rupp, I invite you to courageously ponder where your compassion and love reside and to pray that through open heartedness their virutues might be fortified within you. Have a Peaceful Journey John Timed Running Order (So you can join where it suits you) Hello 0.00; Expressing your Desires 1.41; Invite to Prepare/Preparation for Prayer 3.50; Prayer 11.57; Peace Prayer 26.16; Thankyou and Goodbye 27.42
Welcome to the first episode of The Prayer Path's 'The Narrower Path'which will be released every Sunday. For this first episode I give voice to a beautiful Blessing called "For Someone Who Did You Wrong" by John O' Donohue, found in his books: To Bless the Space Between Us (US) / Benedictus (Europe) - Ordering Info: https://johnodonohue.com/store . In last wednesdays Prayer Path journey we focused on The Welcoming Prayer, and how it might be used as a practice to bring healing to the negative emotions and feelings created by hurt and injustice. This beautiful blessing gives expression to both the hurt and how it can bring about the sometimes unexpected fruit of healing. Have a Peaceful Journey
