Richard Rohr, in a recent meditation, refers to St. Francis whose definition of ‘peace to the world’ was inclusive in the absolute. ‘Sun, moon, animals, plants, elements and ALL humans are shown the same reverence and are all ‘brothers’ and ‘sisters’ to us all united with us through unity with God'.
