On today’s show we’ll be discussing Routines; Because balance doesn’t mean you have to do the same thing day in and day out. How Endbright is providing a space that allows for closure, and fresh beginnings, with Founder Charlotte Ljung.
Endbright is Sweden's first online platform that provides hands-on digital services for divorce and separation planning.
From growing up in Malmö, Sweden, to taking on the big Apple, Charlotte started her career as an Interior Architect where she engaged with designs and roll-outs of Brand Flagship Stores for top names like Burberry, Tiffany, and Ralph Lauren. She later returned to Malmö to spearhead the family business Dux (Duxiana - The hotel division) who's been in the business of making beds and furniture since 1926!
After going through her own experience, Charlotte wished for a community that could help her through her divorce. When she couldn’t find one, she created it. Charlotte takes us through how her routines have helped her shape her decisions both in business and personal life, and how her intuition has guided her journey.
As we embark on a new year, we're shifting our focus to the good habits we want to keep in 2021, like anything, it takes practice. Having the right mindset makes all the difference in keeping your momentum.
We had the pleasure to chat with Former Malaysian national swimmer, Jeffrey Ong whose career highlights include representing Malaysia at the Seoul and Barcelona Olympics, winning a gold medal in a World Cup meet as well as eight gold medals at the South East Asian Games.
Growing up in Penang, Jeffrey never imagined that he would end up on a world stage. Today, he shares with us how having a set routine early on, discipline, practice, and dedication helped him keep his intentions set on the progress vs. the prize. Jeff still holds the Malaysian national record for the 1500m Freestyle, which was set in 1991!
We’ll hear how some of his routines have played a key role in shaping his trajectory, and his advice for keeping focus.
How a series of habits early on turned into a community-wide behavior shift in consumption.
We chatted with Claire Sancelot, founder and CEO of The Hive Bulk Foods, the first zero-waste store in Malaysia! From starting her low-waste lifestyle to moving to a zero-waste lifestyle in Malaysia, Claire has been a pioneer from the start in creating a community online for individuals to make the switch in living a more conscious life with Zero Waste KL.
She’s a United Nations award recipient, and most recently has launched a new initiative to help provide eco-friendly female hygiene products where 5% of the proceeds will be donated to the women of the Orang Asli in Malaysia.
In this episode, we'll explore the power of habits from mind, body, and skin. Joining us is Sarah Gulamoydeen, a self-professed and all things self-care, skincare junkie who's approach to "being your best self" goes beyond the societal constricts playing on our small screens. Sarah provides context to the power of solitude, and cautions against rigidity as a method to see results. Sarah also speaks candidly about how her upbringing has influenced how she views and appreciates "rest" and how her love for the game of tennis has introduced a powerful framework for deconstructing anxiety. We'll also dive into her thoughts on skincare routines, and what she hopes for the future of the industry.
