Revelations Podcast
Replay: Dealing with Triggers in Marraige, Family and Church (Ft. Samantha Miley and Michelle Young)
Healing from trauma is a long and involved process — and it’s not just Satanic ritual abuse that can cause deep wounds. Things like everyday rejections or difficulties can build up and create trauma effects too. Those minor wounds add up and, if not healed or addressed through the love of Christ, can become footholds for the Enemy in your soul. In this episode of the Revelations Podcast, host Reagan Kramer sits down for part two of an eye-opening conversation with Michelle Young and her daughter Samantha Miley. Together, they dive deep into the topic of triggers and trauma—ranging from the extreme cases of Satanic ritual abuse (SRA) to the more everyday emotional triggers in marriage and relationships that many people experience. This discussion is essential because it sheds light on the often misunderstood connection between deliverance and emotional trauma, offering listeners a path to deeper healing through the power of Christ. This episode is for all who suffer — whether from the grievous wounds of demonic influence and Satanic ritual abuse, or from the sufferings of daily trials. This is a call that goes out to the lost, the broken, and the hurt: God loves you and will heal you. Here are three reasons why you should listen to this episode: Gain a deeper understanding of how trauma can fragment your soul and how God's love and healing can restore those broken pieces. Understand the spiritual principles behind emotional triggers and the importance of surrender, repentance, and holiness in overcoming deep-seated wounds. Learn practical steps to invite Yeshua into your healing journey, allowing Him to transform your pain and bring true freedom. Become Part of Our Mission! Many Christians don’t recognize the severity of the issues of SRA. Various levels of trauma exist, from major events like earthquakes to everyday experiences that can cause emotional pain. [04:28] Daily Life and Brokenheartedness [04:28] Reagan: “It doesn't have to be SRA, it can be just something that happened to you in kindergarten, right? Or that somebody said something mean to you and you didn't think you were good enough — or an earthquake.” You can experience brokenheartedness in your everyday life too, like going to bed angry. This gives the Enemy a foothold in your heart. Samantha shares a personal story about her daughter's sensitivity and how it gave the Enemy an opening. Addressing these issues is important early on to prevent long-term damage in children. However, not all trauma is extreme, and even small, unresolved issues can build up over time and cause significant emotional pain. [09:43] The Role of the Church in Healing Satanic Ritual Abuse The church is important in providing healing and deliverance especially when many people feel rejected or unheard in church settings. Many Christians struggle with the idea of being affected by demons despite being saved from Satanic ritual abuse — although salvation came unto them, they have yet to heal. In the same vein, there’s a critical difference between the regeneration of the spirit and the healing of the soul. Christians need to understand that healing is not a one-time event. It’s a process. [15:36] Practical Steps for Healing and Surrender to Christ As Christians, we must remember the power that comes from surrendering to Christ and immersing ourselves in prayer and the Word. Being prayerful and seeking guidance from the Holy Spirit are some of the most powerful tools for us to receive true healing. [18:25] Samantha: “You can't just expect the Spirit to just fall on, the Holy Spirit to just do everything. You have got to take initiative and surrender to the Lord.” Healing doesn’t come from nothing — it’s hard work. It requires us to take the initiative to heal ourselves as well. We need a genuine desire for Jesus and the willingness to do the difficult work that goes into healing your soul. [20:27] The Importance of Identity and Whose We Are It is important to recognize your identity in Christ and understand who we belong to. David, despite his sins, was remembered for being a man after God's own heart because of his desire for the Lord. There is a need for discipleship and understanding the word to grasp one's identity in Christ. [29:43] Michelle: “I want you to know that when someone finally recognizes who they are and whose they are, this is one of the key things. Even while Daniel was in Babylon, Daniel never forgot who he was.” As Christians, it’s our God-given obligation to love others and bear witness to the love of Jesus. [30:38] The Role of the Holy Spirit in Healing Michelle discusses the role of the Holy Spirit in healing and the importance of being open to His guidance. One story to remember in the Bible is that of the woman at the well, who, due to her faith, was transformed and healed by the love of Jesus. There’s a need for genuine love and support from the Church to help others heal. Receiving healing lets a person help others in turn. The Church becomes the bridge between brokenness and healing. [36:28] Holiness and Repentance The role of the church in addressing triggers lies in providing healing for those who are struggling. The soul needs to walk in the power and authority of God and Christ — something a person’s Church must understand. Healing requires holiness and repentance; part of a true desire for God comes from overcoming and repenting our sins. Healing comes from a place of genuine love and support, especially from the Church. Overcoming the deep wounds of Satanic ritual abuse requires addressing the root causes behind a person’s emotional pain and trauma. [51:28] Closing Prayer and Encouragement Through God’s guidance and protection, we can overcome all adversity, even that which comes from the Enemy. May you remember to be a part of the remnant Church. Keep true to God’s commandments and love. Michelle Young is a pastor with over 30 years of experience in discipling and counseling God's people. Michelle has a degree in psychology from Liberty University and is currently studying at Revelation Gateway Academy to equip herself to minister to survivors of satanic ritual abuse. Michell’s daughter Samantha grew up in Trinidad but moved to the States for college and met her husband there. Despite the distance, Michelle continued to train Samantha’s spirit through daily WhatsApp conversations and now has moved back to Trinidad with her family. Michelle and Samantha have a special relationship, with Michelle planting seeds that grew into Samantha's ministry. [3:24] Triggers in Christianity Christians often operate from a broken soul, meaning we have to understand how to address trauma triggers to further a more intimate connection with God. Reagan herself experienced trauma triggers in her early marriage and how God has helped her through healing. As Christians, it’s vital that we renew our minds and understand the soul so that we can transform and heal. [11:44] Defining the Body, Soul, and Spirit [12:40] Michelle: “The soul is the mind, will, and emotions of a person.” The soul and spirit are distinct from each other. Many Christians struggle with the concept of being affected by demons despite being saved — although salvation came unto them, they have yet to heal. In the same vein, there’s a critical difference between the regeneration of the spirit and the healing of the soul. Christians need to understand that healing is not a one-time event. It’s a process. [18:45] The Role of the Holy Spirit in Healing Your Heart The book of Isaiah proclaims Jesus' mission to heal the brokenhearted and proclaim liberty to the captives. The Hebrew word for soul is the same as the word for heart — heal the heart, and you heal the soul. [20:07] Samantha: “If we follow Yeshua, how do we heal the brokenhearted?...How do we proclaim liberty to the captive? So there's healing of the soul.” Healing the soul allows faithful Christians to walk in victory and power. [22:07] Understanding Triggers and Their Impact A trigger is something or someone that reminds us of past trauma, particularly unresolved pain. A memory, feeling, or event can pull someone back to the moment of their trauma, “triggering” what they felt at the time; hence the term “trauma triggers”. Partners in marriage need to understand each other’s trauma triggers to avoid — or even heal — conflicts between them. Michelle shares an example of a survivor of satanic ritual abuse whose trauma triggers were specific words. Christians should not allow triggers to control them but seek help and healing to respond as Yeshua would. [34:24] Medication, Healing, and the Word of God Reagan shares her personal experience with anxiety and the decision to avoid medication in favor of healing through the Word of God. Medication isn’t the only answer to managing your trauma triggers. It’s more important to address the root cause. Healing is a process. Medication can help, but Christians should not be quick to resort to it without addressing the underlying issues. Discipleship and counseling are powerful tools in the healing process. [38:39] The Fragmentation of the Soul Soul fragmentation is where parts of the soul detach to cope with intolerable trauma. Michelle tells the story of a child who fragments their soul to cope with abuse, explaining how this coping mechanism helps them survive. True healing is achieved when a Christian can integrate the fragmented parts of her soul. Only Yeshua can integrate the fragmented parts of the soul and heal the wounds. [48:10] The Impact of Satanic Ritual Abuse on the Soul Michelle shares a story of a survivor of satanic ritual abuse who was triggered by certain words and needed to reject the thoughts and choose to do the right thing. Survivors of satanic ritual abuse often have deep-seated triggers and need specialized healing. As Christians, we have to understand the programming and mind control used in satanic rituals to address the trauma triggers effectively. It is only through Yeshua that Christians can heal the deep-seated wounds inflicted by satanic rituals and abuse. [58:48] Spreading True Healing to Those in Need Not enough Christians understand the reality of how spiritual healing works, preventing them from receiving healing. [59:04] Reagan: “This is real. This is real life. It happens. It's in our churches, it's in our small, little towns, it's in our big cities. It's everywhere. But we're not believing that it's real, and so those people are sitting there hurting, you know, and and not getting the healing that they need from their fragmented souls” We can be emissaries of that healing and a channel for God’s peace when we join movements to reach out, like Pulse 100. Becoming a channel for God’s peace is also a way for us to grow spiritually. Despite facing health issues and financial problems, Susie realized she felt disappointed and bitter towards God so she wrote "Waking Up to the Goodness of God" to focus on His goodness. The default to fear, doubt, and self-preservation hinders us from receiving God’s goodness. [14:56] Susie: “When you are in self-preservation, when you are in bracing for impact when you're living with elbows locked, you can't at once receive from God. You will not see goodness when it comes, you won't because your eyes are on the trauma.” Hear more about Susie’s battle against life’s curveballs when you tune in to the full episode. You can also check out Susie’s first episode with us as a guest in Season 3 Episode 2. [19:01] The Recipe for Vitality Susie emphasizes that she has gained more in Christ and highlights the importance of thinking rightly about God to receive His blessings. Living in self-preservation prevents us from experiencing God’s miracles and goodness; we must work on our hearts to receive His answers. Deep rest in purposeful faith is vital for soul replenishment and engaging in our faith restores peace. [26:53] Learning From The Past’s Mistakes Scripture invites us to remember God's work and trust Him with our lives, avoiding self-preservation despite fears. Recognizing God’s daily mercies and expressing perpetual awe for His kindness can strengthen and restore our souls. [30:44] Susie: “His mercy is what covers us time and time again. We should be in perpetual awe of the kindness of God, the mercies of God. It’s because of His great love we are not consumed. His compassions never fail, his mercies are new every morning.” The Israelites were quick to forget God’s care for them and were quick to turn away from Him because of fear. Susie also battled fear her whole life. However, she learned to face them through God’s strength. [33:00] The Power of Words and Declarations Faith declarations are our statement of who God is, that God loves us and will fulfill His promises to us. Brain retraining is meant to help us identify ourselves as sons and daughters of God. Both of these practices help interrupt rogue thoughts by being spoken aloud. Speak your declarations over your life especially those that resonate with you. [39:07] Slaying Your Inner Critic Unresolved hurts and self-contempt create opportunities for the enemy; resolving them in God’s love closes these openings. Seek support to process unresolved hurts in the light of God’s love and trust the Holy Spirit to guide and correct them. [40:37] Susie: “When you allow those hurts, those hard parts of your story to go unresolved in light of God’s love, they're like open loops and they're opportunities for the enemy to accuse God and accuse you.” [43:24] Imprinting Your Hope, Faith, and Belief in God in Your Heart Susie is always striving to get closer to God. Recently, she attended a conference with Dr. Reimer. The conference became a safe space to bring out these unresolved pasts into God’s light. Despite new traumas, remembering God’s love and focusing on Him allows us to see through the enemy’s lies. Keep your hope alive and you’ll eventually learn how to let go of past trauma. Remember who God is, trust that He is good and that He loves you. About Susie Susie Larson is an author, speaker, and host of the popular radio show, Susie Larson Live. [03:21] Tommy: “We have so many good friends and so many ministry partners over there, that that's just really where our heart was, and we were part of another ministry before that that we loved dearly, so many great people and everything.” ● Once bound by addiction and anxiety, Tommy now leads missions that bring healing and hope across the Middle East. [05:26] Ministry Work in the Middle East ● Tommy describes Uncharted Ministries’ work across war-torn regions of the Middle East. ● He recalls visiting the Gaza Strip a month after a major attack, wearing flak jackets and traveling with armed EMTs. ● Despite the chaos, they shared comfort and reminded hurting communities that they are not forgotten. ● Through every mission, Tommy emphasizes the power of showing up and bringing the love of Christ. [12:19] Personal Testimony and Early Life ● Tommy grew up in a large Christian family, deeply involved in church life as a pastor’s kid. ● Despite strong early faith, he experienced rejection and betrayal from peers in church leadership. ● That emotional wound led him to pull away and seek belonging in sports and party culture. ● This shift laid the groundwork for his eventual descent into substance use and spiritual drift. [24:23] Struggles with Addiction and Turning Point ● Tommy began justifying casual partying, which escalated into drug dealing and daily alcohol use. ● A raid by federal agents became a wake-up call, but the pull of addiction remained strong. ● Panic attacks worsened his condition, and alcohol became his go-to form of self-medication. ● Despite several attempts to quit, nothing brought lasting freedom—until he cried out to God. [26:42] Egypt Mission Trip and Spiritual Awakening ● Tommy joined a mission trip to Egypt to support his mother’s outreach to Muslim women. ● While caring for children there, he was struck by a deep conviction to return to a life of purpose. ● That moment reignited his faith, shifted his focus, and set him on a path of full sobriety. ● He returned home and committed to healing through a Christ-centered Celebrate Recovery program. [36:11] Supernatural Encounter in Egypt ● During a foot-washing ceremony, Tommy witnessed a woman visibly possessed and delivered through the name of Jesus. [39:47] Tommy: “Every time that something dark and scary would happen, witnessed by other people too, the power of the name of Jesus was enough to eradicate it and, and that's just so life-giving.” ● Later that night, he and his brother encountered a terrifying demonic presence outside their desert compound. ● Prayer in Jesus’ name broke the oppression, revealing that when the demonic and divine encounter each other, the authority of Christ prevails over darkness. ● These spiritual battles confirmed the reality of unseen warfare—and the power believers carry. [47:49] Territorial Spirits and the Battle Over Regions ● Tommy and Reagan reflect on how demonic strongholds operate not just personally, but over entire regions. ● In spiritually charged areas like the Middle East, the Enemy fiercely resists gospel work. ● Tommy shares how even Bible translation efforts in unreached areas face constant spiritual interference. ● Yet through it all, God's power continues to break ground where darkness has long ruled. [52:45] The Link Between Medication and Addiction ● Tommy discusses the role anti-anxiety medication played in intensifying his alcohol cravings. ● He noticed his dependence on alcohol spiked after starting an SSRI prescribed for panic attacks. ● This connection led him to research and ultimately discontinue the medication after his spiritual breakthrough. ● He encourages others to evaluate their health journeys prayerfully and seek Spirit-led guidance. [58:39] Advice for Overcoming Addiction and Anxiety ● Tommy urges listeners to admit powerlessness and seek a divine encounter with Jesus as the first step to healing. ● By trusting Him, we take a faithful path to healing. ● He shares practical advice for managing anxiety, including diet, outdoor activity, and community support. ● Accountability and honesty are key—especially with trusted friends and family. ● Above all, he emphasizes that true freedom from addiction and fear comes through Christ alone. [1:03:43] Tommy: “I did not need a foreign substance to be happy and enjoy life. And that's such a lie if, if that's holding you back, reconnect with the Lord.” [1:05:52] Living Free From Darkness to Purpose in Christ ● Tommy reminds listeners that surrender is not weakness but the beginning of real strength. ● He shares how 2 Timothy 1:7 has anchored him through fear and addiction. ● God’s healing is available to anyone ready to leave darkness and walk into His light. ● Learn more about Tommy’s work through Uncharted Ministries and Uncharted Adventures at unchartedministries.com. When Spiritual Experience meets Demons and Divine Intervention (Ft. Ryan Bethea)
A spiritual experience is closer to many than they might think — especially for the faithful. As the spiritual realm gains traction in both pop culture and faith circles, believers are increasingly asking: Is this stuff real, and how do I discern truth from fiction? While some dismiss demons, exorcism, deliverance, and the supernatural as outdated myths, countless Christians continue to share real stories of both oppression and miraculous freedom. In a world where Ouija boards are marketed as toys and TikTok teems with spiritual influencers, navigating truth from deception isn’t just cultural—it’s deeply personal, often painful, and undeniably hopeful. In this episode of Revelations Podcast, host Reagan Kramer sits down with Ryan Bethea, producer and host of The Exorcist Files, as well as co-host of the new podcast Heaven Meets Earth. Ryan’s exploration into Catholic exorcisms and modern-day miracles offers an unparalleled look into how spiritual warfare manifests today. As a Protestant gaining insights from Catholic traditions, and through deeply researched narrative storytelling, Ryan brings humility, humor, and serious theological weight to one of the most misunderstood and scarcely discussed topics in Christianity. Be equipped with a fresh, Spirit-led perspective and practical tools to understand the realities of spiritual warfare, what deliverance looks like in real life, and how God still works through miracles today. This episode is for curious skeptics, discerning believers, and anyone hungering for more of God’s power and presence. Here are three reasons why you should listen to this episode: 1. Explore real-life encounters with demonic forces and the process of exorcism in both Catholic and Protestant contexts through the lens of spiritual warfare. 2. Gain insight into how miraculous healing and supernatural intervention point to God’s faithfulness through a spiritual experience in the modern day. 3. Reflect on how to discern spiritual attack from psychological or circumstantial hardship—and find wisdom for your own spiritual battles. Become Part of Our Mission! Defecting Darkness and Winning the Battle of Spiritual Warfare (Ft. Mo Isom Aiken)
There are moments in life that break us and moments that remake us. Mo Isom Aiken’s story is one of both. From an Elite Division 1, All-American athlete to a woman haunted by trauma, addiction, and suicidal despair, Mo’s life took a dramatic turn when a near-fatal car crash became the very altar where heaven met earth. What followed was a supernatural encounter with the Holy Spirit that not only saved her life, but ignited a transformation so complete it would ripple through her marriage, her motherhood, and her mission around the world. This isn’t just a story of redemption. It’s a call to awaken to the invisible spiritual warfare waging over every soul—and to the freedom that comes with surrendering everything. In this episode of the Revelations Podcast, host Reagan Kramer sits down with Mo Isom Aiken for an unfiltered, deeply moving conversation that spans trauma, healing, and the raw power of a life fully yielded to Jesus. Mo opens up about growing up in the Bible Belt, navigating father wounds and performance-based identity, and the spiritual warfare that nearly claimed her life. Together, they explore Mo’s radical encounter with God in the wreckage of her Jeep, the prophetic call that led her family from a fifth-wheel RV across 48 states to the mission fields of Nigeria, and the power of intercession that reshaped her view of prayer entirely. This episode is for the believer who feels stuck in cycles of shame or silence, the seeker longing to hear God’s voice again, or the weary warrior who needs to remember what it means to defect from the kingdom of darkness and live fully alive in Christ. Here are three reasons why you should listen to this episode: 1. Gain deeper understanding of how a supernatural encounter with God can occur amidst unimaginable personal tragedy. 2. Learn how radical obedience—like selling everything and living in an RV—can unlock divine provision and spiritual growth. 3. Reflect on the importance of prayer, spiritual warfare, and intimacy with the Holy Spirit in a chaotic world. Become Part of Our Mission! That lie keeps us stuck, powerless, and numb to God’s call. ● Cultural Christianity is an illusion; we should consider what full surrender actually looks like. ● Mo Isom Aiken, a former All-American athlete turned revivalist and prophetic voice shares her story of defection from darkness—and the fire of obedience that followed. [02:56] Mo Isom Aiken: Childhood and Early Life ● Mo discovered her identity through competitive sports. ● Despite being raised in a Christian household, her faith was cultural and lacked deep personal roots. ● She describes the impact of early exposure to pornography and the pressure of performance-based love from her father. ● Her struggle with an eating disorder and need for control remained hidden behind a mask of success. [12:22] Transition to College and Personal Struggles ● At LSU, Mo excels as an All-American goalkeeper but continues battling inward brokenness. [13:02] Mo: “How much of my true self and my true life can people handle? Because they have this picture of me, and yet I am destroyed inside.” ● Her father committed suicide, devastating Mo both emotionally and spiritually. ● She turns to sexual sin, secrecy, and self-harm, wrestling with suicidal thoughts and tormenting spiritual voices. ● Though publicly praised, she describes living with private torment and deep spiritual oppression. [20:54] Spiritual Awakening and Healing ● Mo survives a violent car crash and has a supernatural encounter with the Holy Spirit while trapped in the wreckage. ● She describes the weight and wonder of God’s presence as overwhelming yet freeing. [22:58] Mo: “The kingdom of darkness was literally mad because things had been set up in my life that my gifts, my talents, my destiny, my anointing, my very God, given fingerprint of God, purpose was going to be leveraged for evil was going to advance the kingdom of darkness, if not for the mercy of Jesus” ● In that moment, she chooses full surrender to Jesus and receives a baptism of fire. ● Her salvation marks a clear defection from darkness into God’s Kingdom—spiritually, emotionally, and physically. [28:20] Recognizing God in the Midst of Darkness ● Mo reflects on how God pursued her even during seasons of rebellion and bondage. ● She shares a deliverance session where a spirit confessed she had “defected” from its kingdom. ● The conversation highlights how spiritual warfare is strategic and real—but God’s grace is more powerful. ● Mo encourages listeners to stop excusing bondage and fully embrace the invitation to be made whole. [33:22] Impact of Faith on Personal Relationships ● Returning to campus, Mo feels conviction and begins separating from old friends and sinful patterns. ● She committed herself to purity and obedience, even when it meant facing rejection and isolation. [39:07] Mo: “But if you won't separate yourselves from the ones who are holding you back from your destiny — then you've tightly gripped something God's asking you to open your hands about right? When you open your hands, when you let go of things, He will then, in time, refill what is His good portion.” ● Through FCA, she found a godly community, received a baptism at LSU, and experienced revival. ● A two-year intimacy fast sets the stage for meeting her husband, Jeremiah, and building a Christ-centered family. [46:45] Fifth Wheel Missions and Family Life ● Mo recalls receiving a prophetic word in college about living in a fifth-wheel RV and going on mission. ● A decade later, she and Jeremiah sell everything and travel the U.S. with their four kids, sharing the gospel. ● She shares how moments of humor and hardship—like a sewage overflow—shaped their faith and resilience. ● The RV season prepared them for deeper obedience and future international missions. [56:44] Mission to Nigeria and Angelic Visit ● Mo recounts a dream where an angel tells her she’ll go to Nigeria to forge a deeper connection to the divine. ● Initially resistant due to fear for her children, she surrenders and receives confirmation from her mentors. ● The family spent eight months in Lagos serving under Nigerian spiritual leaders. ● Their time becomes a season of discipleship, humility, and spiritual equipping for future ministry. [1:14:19] The Power of Prayer: Greatest Takeaway from Nigeria ● Mo describes prayer as the single greatest lesson from their mission season. ● In Nigeria, daily prayer was non-negotiable—fostering spiritual strength, wisdom, and breakthrough. ● She challenges Western believers to move prayer from a fallback to a foundation. ● Prayer, she emphasizes, is the gateway to discernment, power, and intimacy with God. [1:21:24] Teaching the Next Generation to Prioritize Prayer ● Mo and Reagan discuss the difficulty of maintaining a prayerful life amid Western busyness and distractions. ● Mo explains how she and Jeremiah are raising their children to see prayer as essential, not optional. ● They commit to resisting hustle culture and modeling devotion in everyday life. ● Mo calls for prayer warriors to arise—those who walk in reverence, not performance. [1:32:39] Spiritual Warfare and the Call to Live Fully Surrendered ● Mo prays a powerful blessing over listeners for renewal, healing, and sanctification. ● Revival begins in surrendered hearts, not just pulpits; it is in living God’s Word to be kind and loving to all those around you. ● It is our time to live fully awake, defecting from darkness and advancing God’s Kingdom with boldness. About Mo Isom Aiken Mo Isom Aiken is a prophetic voice, revivalist, and bestselling author whose life and ministry are marked by radical obedience, spiritual boldness, and supernatural transformation. A former all-American goalkeeper at LSU, Mo encountered the living God in a near-fatal car accident that became a divine turning point. With more than 14 years of experience speaking, teaching, and discipling, Mo now carries a powerful anointing for deliverance, prayer, and spiritual awakening. Alongside her husband Jeremiah and their four children, Mo lives as part of a family on mission—mobilizing across America in a fifth-wheel RV before being prophetically sent to Nigeria through an angelic encounter. Their journey is a living testimony of surrendered faith, courageous intercession, and generational restoration. Miraculous Healing, Prophetic Insight and Revival (Ft. Sammy Wanyonyi)
What does God call us to do? Cities across the United States — such as Minneapolis — experience a state of brokenness. Between financial inequality, despair, and confusion, it can feel as though the darkness is impermeable and unstoppable. But Jesus calls us to be a revival in today’s world of despair. And as his light, there’s an urgent question we must all ask: how can we bring God’s love to all those around us? In this episode of Revelations Podcast, host Reagan Kramer sits down with international evangelist Sammy Wanyonyi to explore how God is on the move, bringing healing, revival, and awakening across the globe and right here in Minnesota. Sammy shares testimonies from recent missions, including miraculous healing, a child raised from the dead, and prophetic insight about Minneapolis becoming a wellspring of spiritual awakening. This episode is a divine call to lean into God’s heart for a revival that begins from the North and flows like the Mississippi into the nation. If you’ve been feeling weary, overwhelmed by darkness, or unsure how to respond to the brokenness around you, then it is time to pause and listen. Come into alignment with Heaven. Join the movement of healing, revival, and awakening that begins with surrender and flows outward like the Mississippi. You’re not powerless. You are invited to evoke miraculous healing into the streets, into your home, into the dry places. Here are three reasons why you should listen to this episode: 1. Gain firsthand stories of miraculous healing, deliverances, and even a child brought back to life. 2. Understand how prophecy works in real life, and why it’s an essential spiritual gift for today’s church. 3. Reflect on God's perspective for broken regions like Minneapolis and how He is preparing the global Church for revival. Become Part of Our Mission! [32:36] Personal Experiences and Authority in Ministry ● Authority flows from intimacy with God, not the titles bestowed upon us. ● Sammy himself found a close encounter with the Lord. In his heart, he heard Jesus calling to him in the dark hours of the morning: a divine appointment. ● These quiet moments built a lifelong rhythm of seeking God before stepping into ministry. ● This level of authority is available to any believer who consistently walks with Jesus. [40:46] Sammy: “His presence rubs off of us. His authority rubs off of us—because we love Him and we spend time with Him.” [45:43] The Miraculous Healing Power of Ministry ● Reagan shares a powerful testimony from a man at her church who was freed from depression during one of Sammy’s visits. ● The moment he raised his hand during prayer, the burden lifted, and he heard the voice of Jesus within his heart. [47:54] Reagan: “He could hear the voice of Jesus say, ‘I love you.’” ● That single encounter changed his life, sustaining him through personal and financial challenges with peace and clarity. ● Sammy highlights how obedience—even a small gesture—can unlock breakthrough and healing through the Holy Spirit. [57:29] Upcoming Event: Merge Twin Cities ● Merge USA is a call to reclaim the Twin Cities for Christ, starting in Minneapolis. ● Sammy explains the prophetic journey that began during the George Floyd riots and grew into a regional revival movement. ● From June 2–7, thousands will engage in prayer, fasting, and outreach, culminating in a massive event at the State Capitol. ● Artists like Naomi Raine, Hulvey, Josiah Queen, and other global evangelists will gather to celebrate God’s holy work in the city. [1:04:24] A Prayer of Healing ● Reagan and Sammy close with gratitude for God’s power; for revival already happening; for every listener tuning in. ● A powerful time of prayer is coming to break off depression, fear, and financial lack in Jesus’ name. ● Sammy blesses the audience with healing, encouragement, and supernatural alignment with God’s will. ● As the faithful, we can do more than merely observe revival; we can participate in it, starting with a simple yes to God, then by being kind to all those around us. About Sammy Sammy Wanyonyi is a global evangelist, apostolic leader, and founder of Shine In The World Ministries—a Gospel movement reaching the nations with healing, deliverance, and revival. Your natural hormone balance keeps your body working correctly the way God intended. But our environment has changed. Even the air we breathe can be toxic to us, disrupting our natural hormone balance and sending our health into a nosedive. Men, women and youth are dealing with symptoms like anxiety, depression, mood swings and lack of sleep among other things that could relate to unbalanced hormones.  God gave us our bodies as temples to steward, so how can we care for them? Jackie Tewes is a well-respected healthcare professional who delves into menopause and hormone changes — a subject often deemed taboo by many women. Jackie provides insights into understanding the natural hormone balance and numerous ways to manage related issues. Her valuable and practical advice could transform their health journeys. If you're looking for a good way to manage your health by finding your natural hormone balance, this episode is for you. Here are three reasons why you should listen to this episode: Hear how following God’s call, even when it’s hard, can bring peace and help others. Discover the links between our environment, lifestyle choices, and natural hormonal balance as well as learn how hormones can affect men and women of all ages and what symptoms to look out for. Understand the importance of comprehensive hormone testing and why you should consider natural hormone remedies instead of synthetic ones. This Episode is brought to you by Advanced Medicine Alternatives Get back to the active life you love through natural & regenerative musculoskeletal healing: https://www.georgekramermd.com/ Episode Highlights [03:37] Jackie’s Medical Journey Jackie does a lot of work with hormones, and they work with people of all ages. However, many people — even children — are experiencing hormone disruptions today. [03:37] Jackie: "It's really our practices, focusing on how the body was designed by God, and how can we work with it to really help that person heal through all stages of life." Jackie tries to help people return to what she believes is the body's "natural" state. She thinks that's what God intends for the human body. Her journey began when she went to Church, and the message was about procrastination. Jackie had been delaying trying to put her business together. According to Jackie, God placed her where she was. Her work isn’t a job. [13:47] Breaking the Silence Around Menopause The guest, Jackie, tackles the stigma around menopause and how discussing it can help many women. According to Jackie, God works through our weaknesses, including our trials through menopause. Jackie encourages women to speak openly about menopause and seek help when needed. [27:07] The Environmental Impact on Natural Hormone Balance Focusing on nourishing the body and taking care of one's health from an early age is essential. Many commercial products aren't good for you — they change the makeup of your body, especially your hormones. It's best to take early action against hormonal changes. Jackie criticizes the use of anxiety medications, highlighting that they temporarily alleviate symptoms, not heal. [38:25] Caution Against Synthetic Hormones Jackie stresses the importance of finding a reliable healthcare provider for hormone tests. According to Jackie, synthetic hormones only trick your body into thinking it has the correct hormone levels. Jackie thinks there are alternative ways to handle hormonal disruptions and return to your natural hormone balance. Sleep is a time to heal when the body can really rest and regenerate. Hormonal imbalances can disrupt our sleeping patterns. [49:25] Reagan: “Once you realize, like, you know, my hormone levels are all over the place. I am going through perimenopause or menopause, then you have more peace about it.” All hormones work as messengers in the human body. Bioidentical hormones are almost exactly the same as natural ones, but synthetics aren’t quite the same. [50:34] Finding Your Place Through God You might find your God-assigned place at any point in life. Some people find it in childhood. Jackie found it much later. Jackie believes God used Sunday church sessions to soften her heart. She went through multiple medical practices before finding the right place for her. About Jackie Jackie Tewes founded Flourish Medical + Wellness. She's a board-certified family nurse with over a decade of experience treating various medical conditions. Today, she focuses on wellness, preventative medicine, hormone therapy, and medical health. We'd all be healthier if everyone could find their natural hormone balance. Surrender to God and Live in the Spirit (Ft. Laurel Bunker)
Shame. Fear. Identity crisis. Our generation—especially young adults and parents—is silently drowning in hidden battles. We long for freedom, yet so often search for it through striving, rituals, or more information. All the while, we navigate deep waters of confusion, facing demonic resistance and relentless cultural pressure. Does God still show up in the chaos? Can Jesus really meet us in our mess—just as He did the woman at the well? And when we finally meet Him — can we still find it in ourselves to wholly and completely surrender to God? In this episode of the Revelations Podcast, host Reagan Kramer welcomes Laurel Bunker: preacher, educator, and spiritual mother to many. With over 30 years of ministry in higher education and nonprofit leadership, Laurel shares her deeply personal journey from performance-based religion to radical intimacy with the Living Word. She opens up about confronting demonic oppression, overcoming self-hatred, and raising daughters in a world flooded with lies. Rooted in the story of the woman at the well, this conversation is a call to lay down shame, reclaim identity, and rise in kingdom authority. If you’re weary from the fight, questioning your worth, or longing to hear God's voice again—pause. Take a seat by the well. Encounter Jesus. Surrender to God; drink deeply of His grace and be restored. Here are three reasons why you should listen to this episode: 1. Gain biblical clarity on how to surrender to God and live fully in “Spirit and Truth,” beyond mere rituals and religion. 2. Understand how shame, demonic influence, and the culture of people-pleasing hinder identity. 3. Learn how a transformational encounter with Jesus breaks lifelong bondage, as told through Laurel Bunker’s story. Become Part of Our Mission! [01:12] Laurel: “I gave so much of my life away before Jesus. I'm giving it all away for Jesus now, you know. We got to redeem the time.” ● The cultural tension between Jews and Samaritans sets the stage for Jesus’ radical act of compassion and revelation. ● This moment shatters cultural shame and personal guilt, proving Jesus meets people right where they are. [9:01] Transformation and Worship in Spirit and Truth ● One conversation with Jesus turns the Samaritan woman into an evangelist to her entire town. ● Her transformation ripples outward, showing that personal encounters with truth can spark collective revival. ● According to Laurel, true worship isn’t tied to a location or ritual. Instead, we must act our faith through a surrendered, Spirit-filled life. ● Living in spirit and truth becomes more than theology—it becomes a multiplying force of freedom. [20:25] Challenges and Encouragement for Believers ● Legalism, shame, and spiritual burnout are real struggles for modern believers. ● Laurel shares how her own religious performance led to exhaustion and how encountering Jesus brought lasting freedom. [22:51] Laurel: “I promise you, growing up all the way into my 20s, in my early 20s, I would look at Christ or images of him, or Christ on the cross, and I wouldn't know who- I didn't know who he was.” ● Wounds from church experiences don’t have to write the final chapter of your faith. Healing and purpose remain possible when we surrender to God. ● Believers are encouraged to live a lifestyle of repentance, humility, and unfiltered honesty before God. [32:28] The Power of the Holy Spirit in Modern Times ● The Holy Spirit isn’t a concept confined to the early church—it’s a present force guiding and healing today. ● Laurel shares stories of spiritual breakthrough and reminds believers that revival begins with personal obedience. ● Following Jesus means actively listening, discerning, and stepping into purpose led by the Spirit. ● The call is clear: lean into the Holy Spirit’s presence and let Him do the work only He can do. [40:49] Addressing Shame and Finding Freedom in Christ ● Shame distorts identity and silences spiritual authority, but it doesn’t have the final word. ● Laurel herself has journeyed through a valley of deep shame — but Christ’s love shattered every lie. ● Freedom came not through hiding, but through confession and grace. Through the relentless pursuit of truth, she was able to surrender to God. ● Listeners are urged to stop hiding, start healing, and reclaim their place as sons and daughters of the King. [47:20] Reagan: “That's what Jesus does. He unites people. He does so because he's bringing people together through the truth of the gospel.” [48:40] Living a Life of Worship and Service ● Being able to surrender to God and worship goes beyond music—it’s found in daily acts of obedience, faithfulness, and service. ● Laurel encourages believers to discover how their unique gifts can be expressions of worship. ● Even small acts of faithfulness carry weight in the Kingdom when done in love and obedience. ● Listeners are reminded that God honors hearts surrendered in both the big and the quiet, hidden places. [55:16] Understanding the Spiritual Journey ● Living by the Spirit requires intentional daily surrender. ● Laurel explains how believers must crucify the flesh and embrace the eternal life birthed through the Spirit. ● The Holy Spirit becomes the source of joy, healing, and clarity in a chaotic world. ● It’s not about trying harder, but walking in step with the Spirit who renews us from the inside out. [1:03:38] Laurel: “I refuse to give human beings and this world more praise and more of my energy and my day than I give the one who gave his life for me.” [1:12:22] An Invitation to Surrender to God ● Rather than striving to fix what’s broken, listeners are encouraged to sit with Jesus—just as they are—and receive the healing that only His love can bring. ● No weapon formed against you will prosper. ● No lie of the enemy can stand against the truth of your identity in Christ. ● Say yes to restoration. Say yes to Jesus. Surrender to God and let your journey of healing begin—right here, right now. She thought of the title “Remnant Rising” in the evening while talking to God. She says that several of her online accounts were deleted. She believes it’s because she thinks she’s exposing truths people want to keep hidden. Lori refuses to consider what other people think due to the power of her conviction and faith. [16:10] Lori: “The bottom line is to further the Kingdom. It's to edify the Church and further the Kingdom.” [16:41] The Source of Spiritual Gifts When we place our faith in Jesus, the Holy Spirit comes to live within us and gives us a new perspective on everything. We also receive special abilities to use for the Kingdom. Every person is given a gift based on their faith. Lori believes that spiritual gifts empower us, and says that we are “weaponized” by Heaven. [25:49] Understanding Supernatural Revelations Lori describes “rhema words” — passages or words that you read that just jump out at you with their power. [27:07] Reagan: “It's sometimes in word of knowledge and information that the Lord wants us to pray about or think about.” According to Lori, God knows what you need and will send it to you. God will use anyone to send you His message. [30:04] Who Has Spiritual Gifts? Every believer has at least one spiritual gift. Believers with the gift of faith help encourage others to trust God. Prophecy is another spiritual gift that allows people to speak in the language of Heaven. Deliverance from demons is a gift from the Holy Spirit. Lori fully believes that faith gives us the divine strength to alter the natural outcomes of life in a supernatural way through prayer. Healings are miracles, but miracles are more than just healing. Examples include the parting of the Red Sea and Daniel being saved from lions. [42:05] Examples of Spiritual Gifts Prophecy is just the ability to speak God’s message and explain it. Lori doesn’t want to say she’s a prophet, but says she can prophesy as a teacher. Some people can also discern spirits and see spiritual influences in places, people, or decisions. Still others can speak in tongues — the Heavenly language. Listen to the full episode for more examples of spiritual gifts. [56:46] Desiring More of the Spirit Before prophesying, we must hear the Lord’s Word. [57:52] Lori: “We have to learn to listen, we have to learn to be quiet, because it's hard to just shut off your mind and not have some other agenda.” The more we practice our gifts, the closer we can get to understanding. It’s possible to pray for spiritual gifts if it comes from a place of true faith. Even Paul instructs us to earnestly desire these gifts. [1:08:11] How to Discover Your Spiritual Gifts There are online tests people can take to help discern their spiritual gifts. Several verses in the Bible list samples of spiritual gifts. Reading the Bible can help you discover yours. Lori believes that spiritual gifts exist today — despite what other sources of information might tell us. The Book of Revelation and the Kingdom of God (Ft. Jenny Mire)
Death, judgment, the end—these terrifying visions marked by chaos, the Mark of the Beast, and a looming Antichrist often haunt believers’ imaginations. For many, eschatology stirs a mix of fear and fascination, shaped by teachings of a coming tribulation or a rapture to escape it all. But what if the story of Revelation isn’t a distant prophecy to dread, rather a historical and spiritual reality that shifts how we live today? The Bible offers clarity, not confusion, and understanding its context can replace anxiety with purpose. Jenny Mire returns to discuss the mysteries of eschatology in this episode of The Revelations Podcast. Host Reagan Kramer welcomes back this beloved guest from The Rooted Truth, continuing their conversation from “Freedom from Fear: Understanding the End Times.” Jenny dives deeper into the Mark of the Beast, the fall of the Second Temple, and the transition from the Old to New Covenant. With historical insight and scriptural grounding, she challenges modern assumptions about Revelation, Daniel’s 70th Week, and the Olivet Discourse—pointing to a Kingdom already at work. This episode is for anyone wrestling with fear of the end times. Fear not the end. Revelation is less about destruction and more about embracing God’s plan. Walk away with a fresh perspective, free from speculation and feel empowered to embrace your role in the Kingdom of God today. Here are three reasons why you should listen to this episode: 1. Uncover the historical truth behind the Mark of the Beast and its first-century fulfillment under Nero’s Rome. 2. Understand how the fall of the Second Temple marked the end of the Old Covenant, reshaping eschatology’s meaning today. 3. [5:18] Historical Context and Hermeneutics ● Decoding Scripture begins with asking who, what, when, where, and why. [5:34] Jenny: “We have to use the right hermeneutics when studying the Bible…that's asking ourselves the who, what, when, where, why?... And when we do that, I think things make more sense.” ● The Bible wasn’t written to us directly, yet its living truth shines through when viewed through the lens of its original audience. ● Between Christ’s death in 30 AD and the Second Temple’s fall in 70 AD, a 40-year window unfolds, rich with meaning for understanding prophecy. ● This period marks a covenantal shift, urging listeners to rethink timelines and contexts often overlooked in modern teachings. [7:09] The Overlapping Covenants ● Jenny delves into the overlapping covenants during the 40 years between Christ's death and the fall of the Second Temple. ● Hebrews 8 reveals the New Covenant’s superiority, with Jenny reading how the old system grew obsolete yet lingered until the temple’s destruction. ● The temple stood as symbolism for "heaven and earth," a concept rooted in Jewish thought and detailed by historian Josephus. ● Christ’s blood at the Last Supper seals the New Covenant, coexisting with the fading old until 70 AD, when its end reshapes everything. [23:16] The Kingdom of God and the Early Church ● Jesus’ words in Mark 1:14 and Luke 17:20-21 declare the Kingdom of God as a present reality within us. [25:39] Jenny: “The kingdom of God is not coming with signs to be observed, nor will they say, look, here it is. There it is, for behold, the kingdom of God is in your midst.” Quoting Luke 17:20-21 ● Parables like the mustard seed and leaven illustrate its gradual, unstoppable growth, a vision the early church embraced amid shifting covenants. ● Daniel’s prophecy of a stone crushing empire aligns with this first-century arrival, as believers saw Christ’s reign begin. ● Living in the "last days" of the Old Covenant, they focused on spreading the gospel, not awaiting a far-off end. [34:13] The Mark of the Beast and Historical Context ● Jenny explains the different views on the Mark of the Beast, including the spiritual mark and the literal mark. [36:03] Jenny: “He causes all those small and great, rich and poor, free and slave to receive a mark on their right hand and on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except those who have the mark or the name of the beast or the number of his name.” Quoting Revelation 13:16-17 ● Revelation 13’s imagery of a mark on hand or forehead ties to first-century Rome. ● Nero’s rule demanded allegiance for marketplace access—ashes marked those who bowed to Caesar. ● Persecution surged as Christians refused, facing exclusion or worse, a reality Josephus records with chilling detail. ● The number 666 (or 616 in some texts) links to Nero’s name in ancient numerology, grounding this symbol in history, not future dread. [45:59] The Antichrist and the Abomination of Desolation ● Confusion swirls around the Antichrist, a term absent from Revelation but vivid in John’s letters as a first-century Gnostic heresy denying Christ’s flesh. ● History unfolds with the "abomination of desolation" in 70 AD, when Roman armies surrounded Jerusalem, fulfilling Jesus’ warning in Matthew 24 and Luke 21. ● Christians fled as God provided an escape, leaving no record of their deaths amid the temple’s ruin. ● This event, as explained in Daniel, dismantles futurist expectations of a third temple, rooting prophecy in the past. [57:25] The Mission of the Church and Spiritual Gifts [58:27] Reagan: “Lord, what do you want to teach me? You know, through this, and I find… when I don’t go to all the resources I have, like, I get so excited because I think he is teaching me through the power of the Holy Spirit.” ● Jenny emphasizes the mission of the church to share the gospel and make disciples. ● Spiritual gifts ignite this calling, edifying the body of Christ to fill the earth, as Jenny envisions a mature church triggering Jesus’ return. ● Humbling ourselves before the Holy Spirit unlocks this purpose, shifting focus from fear to action. ● Attacking the enemy’s vulnerabilities, not just observing his moves, defines the church’s offensive role in this Kingdom age. [1:08:01] Eschatology and Our Calling ● Clarity replaces chaos when eschatology aligns with history. ● Again, Revelation is less about destruction and more about Christ’s triumph. ● Freedom flows from shedding futuristic fears—no Antichrist looms, no temple awaits rebuilding—leaving us to live boldly now. ● Jenny’s journey with The Rooted Truth (therootedtruth.com) offers tools like Bible studies on Revelation, Daniel. ● Let us embrace our identity as Kingdom ambassadors, rooted in peace and purpose for today. Mullen’s mentorship. ● He shares his pivotal moment at 11, choosing America’s Got Talent over a Belize trip, becoming a finalist and facing the lure of secular success. ● Despite giving glory to God on the show, he admits to running from his calling, wanting freedom to chase his own desires while still loving Jesus. [05:41] God Redeems Quintavius’s Childhood Experiences ● Quintavius reveals how international fame from America’s Got Talent was misused for self-interest, a pattern God is now redeeming for His glory. [5:41] Quintavious: “After I fully submitted to Him, got saved, filled the Holy Ghost again, He now has allowed me to redeem that he is redeemed again. Now I was on the national, international stage, and I am making his name great, and it’s for the purpose of God.” ● He opens up about misunderstood spiritual gifts—like seeing visions—initially confusing them for demonic or medium-like experiences due to lack of guidance. ● A turning point came when he surrendered fully to Christ, allowing God to refine these gifts for prophetic ministry and deliverance of others. ● Reagan connects this to listeners, noting how God’s protection kept Quintavius from darker paths, now using his platform to win souls. [20:50] Demonic Torment During Early Years ● Quintavius claims to have had chilling encounters with demons in elementary and middle school, like beds shaking and hearing hoof-like footsteps, fueling a spirit of fear. ● The enemy exploited his ignorance, tormenting him with nightmares and voices urging harm, aiming to silence his future calling. ● Quintavius credits the Holy Spirit for guiding him to fast and pray—sometimes for weeks—leading to physical deliverance, like vomiting out demonic influences. ● He mentions influential figures like Alexander Pagani and his pastor Shelley Morrison, whose teachings and hugs broke spiritual chains. ● Dreams once filled with torment became tools of deliverance as he rejected demonic offers in sleep, waking up free by God’s power. [32:54] Bringing His Spiritual Gifts to the World Stage ● Quintavius reluctantly joined American Idol after receiving persistent invitations. He sang “Alabaster Box” for judges Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan. ● He felt the song was a powerful movement—Katy cried, Lionel claimed he felt God’s presence, and Luke likened it to a baptism—shifting the show’s atmosphere. ● Behind the scenes, revival broke out: crew members and contestants got saved, atheists turned to Christ, and the theme changed from gladiators to classmates. [37:38] Quintavious: “They literally started calling it revival. It was such a revival of the love of God and of the power of the Holy Ghost that people want to get more.” ● Quintavious’ performances are on his Instagram, demonstrating how his worship visibly carried the Holy Spirit to impact thousands. [42:28] God’s Permission, or God’s Plan? ● Quintavius reflects on a misstep during American Idol; he chose a song God permitted but didn’t ordain, learning that lawful actions aren’t always in line with God’s wishes. ● Despite the permission, not following God’s exact plan halted his progression. He learned to prioritize precise obedience over rationalized choices. [49:19] Reagan: “God's opening doors, well, why? Because you've been faithful, you've screwed up. He's the God of second chances.” ● He shares how God still redeemed this, as a viral “12 Days of Christmas” video in December 2024 brought greater reach than the show, saving lives and opening doors. [52:53] Staying Faithful to God’s Call Today ● Quintavius stresses prayer, fasting, and staying rooted in Scripture to balance his dual presence in gospel and secular spheres, keeping his focus on God’s assignment. ● He credits his local church community for grounding him, offering safety in counsel and keeping pride at bay as his influence grows. [53:31] Quintavious: “I stay faithful to my church community. Having a community around you is important, you know, the multitude of counsel, there is safety.” ● His mission bridges worlds, bringing salvation to both gospel artists who don’t live it and secular folks unaware of Jesus, acting as a “secret agent” for the Kingdom. ● Quintavius envisions God deepening his intimacy with the Spirit and expanding his ministry globally, not just in industry fame but in soul-winning across nations. ● He sees himself growing as a leader in the body of Christ, shaped by ongoing lessons in manhood and stewardship of his gifts. ● His local church remains vital, providing covering and training—like casting out demons in outreach—keeping him humble and accountable. [1:00:49] Encouraging the Lonely ● Quintavius encourages trusting God over self, rejecting the lie of isolation. God has a community for everyone. ● He advises praying for revelation of that community, warning against the enemy’s tactic to isolate and confuse through lack of guidance. ● The body of Christ is collective, not solitary, and finding a church or group stirs gifts and offers support. ● Reagan prays for Quintavius, asking for strategic discernment, protection, and boldness to spread the gospel worldwide through his voice. ● Quintavius requests prayer to steward his transition well, avoiding procrastination and aligning with God’s will as his influence rises. About Quintavious Quintavius Johnson is a worship and gospel singer, prophetic minister, and dynamic voice for God’s Kingdom, celebrated for his powerful testimony and anointed performances. Rising to fame as a finalist on America’s Got Talent at age 12, he later captivated audiences on American Idol in 2024, where his singing sparked revival and led souls to Christ.
