If I am being completely honest, the idea of an "accountability partner" has my eyes rolling. Not because I think we should live life by ourselves but because my experience of accountability in the church has been very a codependent "I don't trust myself enough to live my life so I have to have someone else live my life for me" kinda vibe and I feel that misses the mark.
Today Julie and I talk about the power of accountability in our friendship, how it strengthens our relationship, and how it helps us show up in all other relationships and the best version of ourselves.
We hope this episode inspires you to live bravely and boldly in community. Life truly is better together!
