Jenny Lytle is a hospice nurse turned stress-relief and self-care coach, helping busy people prioritize practical, customized self-care and fit it into their already jam-packed lives, encouraging them to focus on small, simple things instead of feeling like it's all or nothing. My Guest_ Otjen A_ J is an Library of Congress Award-Author of _Burned Over!____
"A.J. is a 2023 Library of Congress Award-Winning author whose new book, "Burned Over! The Survival of Montana Firefighter Dan Steffensen" chronicles Dan's extraordinary journey after he was critically injured in a wildland fire burnover incident during the "Summer of Hell" of 2021. This isn't just a story about a firefighter who survived a horrific incident. "Burned Over!" takes listeners into the heart of a small Montana town as they grapple with multiple tragedies in a single summer, including a devastating wildfire that destroyed eight homes and the loss of another firefighter in a tragic accident.

A.J. will offer insights into the challenges of capturing Dan's story, a man of few words, and the profound impact of the experience on her as a writer.

Together, they offer a powerful testament to the strength of the human spirit, the unbreakable bonds of community, and the importance of honoring the sacrifices made by first responders."

My Guest_ Author June Kraholic of _Momma You Don_t Heal_
"My name is June Kraholik, and I am the Author of Momma You Don’t Heal (a book to help mothers who have lost children) and Whispered Promises, which is a contemporary romance. My life was turned upside down when my son, Kaleb, was born. I had a complete placental abruption, which led to him not breathing and being a special needs child. In 2012, I lost Kaleb at the age of 2. I wish I could say it was easy to get back on my feet, but it was a long climb and took many years to learn how to cope with my child's loss. A decade later, I published my book, Momma You Don’t Heal, to help other mothers going through child loss. I was so nervous doing this, and it was so hard to put my thoughts out into the world (I thought everyone was going to think I was crazy). To my surprise, it resonated with others. Others loved the book, and it was selling! I would love to say that things have been uphill since then, but 5 months into my book being published, my husband of 10 years blindsided me with wanting a divorce. So, I went into what I call hibernation to work on me and what I wanted my life to look like as a single mom with a 9-year-old daughter. I got back to writing and published my second book, Whispered Promises, in September of 2024, which is a contemporary fiction romance novel. That is a shortened version of what I have gone through, but I think laughter is the key to healing, and I believe that I’ve lived my worst day, and no day will be as bad as that day was. I can talk about a variety of subjects, deep subjects such as child loss to writing a book, to how important mental health is to everything you do. It just depends on your audience and what you feel would resonate with them."

My Guest Bob Martin_ Meditation Teacher & Professor of Wellness is here to teach us_
"The practice of Ho'oponopono, a traditional Hawaiian practice of forgiveness and reconciliation that involves expressing remorse, gratitude, love, and asking for forgiveness. The practice is based on the idea that everyone is connected and that problems are replays of negative emotional memories. It aims to heal and transform relationships, and to bring about understanding, healing, and connection within oneself and with others. Also, the Buddhist practice of forgiveness brings together loving kindness, empathy, and wisdom." To learn more about me check out my Podmatch profile at https://podmatch.com/member/bobmartin

My Guest_ Tim Thomas _Mastering quality sleep_ is here to share his expertise with us_
"When I served in the Australian Special Forces, we’d target our enemies' sleep. We knew that if you could take out the enemies' sleep for 3 days, it would mess them up better than a bullet. My service finished in 2010, but since then I know it can be pretty lonely when you wake up at 3 am and your head has racing thoughts. I lost 6 years of my life to pills when I told the Doctor that I couldn't sleep. No one told me the cost of taking these pills and just how hard it is to get off of them!? I didn't know that simple breathwork techniques could kick out those racing thoughts. It's my life mission now to connect people back to one of their most powerful tools,, their breath. I've made this journey easy for others by creating some easy-to-access online resources.

My journey has been at times arduous, if not extreme, but I have always landed on my feet with my sanity and freedom intact, despite 15 hospitalizations. I am a Poet and entrepreneur. Mine is a story of hope and overcoming, which many people find inspiring, although I feel I just did what I needed to ensure my self-integrity and sovereignty.

My Guest Ian Chamandy_ the Chief Purpose Officer of PurposeU_ Episode 118
Ian's Bio:
I believe one of the most powerful ways to live an inspirational life is to find and live according to your purpose. Your purpose is the ONE thing that makes you uniquely remarkable – your superpower – so finding and being guided by it empowers you to show up as the best version of yourself in every area of your life. If you agree, the million-dollar question becomes, what process can people follow to find a meaningful and resonant purpose? It isn't nearly as easy as it sounds! I am the Chief Purpose Officer of PurposeU. We offer an online course that leads you through a step-by-step process to define your purpose – in 7 words or less – and then use it to design and live a life of meaning and purpose. I can describe the psychological mechanics of how a clear, concise, and compelling purpose provides three benefits: 1. 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐅𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄: It elevates your confidence because you know and can use your superpower 2. 𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐘: You can design a life in which your choices are always aligned with your beliefs, wants and talents 3. 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐌𝐀: It enables you to present yourself in a way that inspires people to want to engage with you

My Guest Thomas Brown_ author of _A Bicycle Odyssey_ is here to share his journey of after the loss
"I lost my brother to suicide in 2001. After a decade of grief, uncertainty, and confusion, I decided I needed to change. In 2012, along with a friend who had also lost a brother to suicide, I set out on a cross-country bicycle tour for suicide awareness and the healing power of art. We started on the northern edge of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco and ended in Wappinger's Falls, New York, at the Chapel of Sacred Mirrors, the art retreat center of artist, Alex and Allyson Grey. Since my return, I have spent three years as a group facilitator for a local mental health facility, helping others who have lost loved ones to suicide. In 2015, I launched a podcast called Inner Monologue, a conversational interview show where others shared their journies of trials and tribulations. Recently, I published my book 2012: A Bicycle Odyssey, which tells the tale of my cross-country adventure." Thomas Brown.

My guest Katharine Giovanni is the Author of the book_ _The Ultimate Path to Forgiveness_ Unlocking
My topic is forgiveness, and it is interesting that my method is completely different from everyone else's. We are all told that we should forgive, but no one teaches us exactly how right? It's like being given a recipe with no ingredients! Imagine finally letting go of the past and moving forward with genuine forgiveness. Imagine how that might affect your mental health. I know what you might be thinking. Maybe you're wrestling with the idea of forgiving someone you feel doesn't deserve it. They're unforgivable. Well, in my world, you don't have to forgive them as there are many other people who you can forgive first. As a 12-year breast cancer survivor who faced challenges in my youth, including a serious struggle in eighth grade when I almost took my own life, I've come to understand the nuances of forgiveness. After years of clinging to anger and grudges like they were my prized possessions, I stumbled upon the magic of forgiveness, and it's not just about forgiving people; it's about forgiving places and even things! We'll dive deeper into this on your podcast. My latest book, "The Ultimate Path to Forgiveness: Unlocking Your Power," is here to show you how to forgive. We'll chat about the unforgivable as well as how, who, and what to forgive. Isn't it time you forgave a few people from your past? I mean REALLY forgive them so that they stay forgiven this time. This way you can move on and start the best years of your life.

Through my path of being diagnosed with MS 11 years ago and winning a European Masters Weightlifting Championship at the age of 60 last year. My story made me change my career from journalism to coaching and I’m on an empowering muscle mission to help women claim their place and their happiness in midlife. Focusing on muscle (beyond just training and eating) can be a powerful driver of overcoming and transformation because it puts you in a spirit of building and nurturing and gives you bucketloads of confidence.
