I am medically recovered from a serious mental illness diagnosis I received in 1975 after being removed from Dartmouth College and hospitalized for schizophrenic delusions. This was the pivotal event of my life, changing all expectations and transforming every measure I had for life's success. My journey has been at times arduous, if not extreme, but I have always landed on my feet with my sanity and freedom intact, despite 15 hospitalizations. I am a Poet and entrepreneur. Mine is a story of hope and overcoming, which many people find inspiring, although I feel I just did what I needed to ensure my self-integrity and sovereignty.
