This is sometimes done through some combination of the following:a.) building somethingb.) joining others in a mutually shared pursuit (like fitness, art, or warm beverages)A good goal for being a better friend might be to learn to treat our friends the way we'd want them to treat us.However, as usual, we can remember that while personal development can be a lifelong journey, we'll sometimes meet people that connect with us better than others. It can benefit us to be introspective and reflect on ways we can improve. On the other hand, it can also benefit us to remember that not everyone is going to like us (or vice versa) and that may be fine.
