Adeyemi Adeyosoye: Why Men Need To Let Go Of Control To Find Embodied Power | EP 57

Adeyemi Adeyosoye is a transformational coach and spiritual teacher whose work bridges the realms of business, energy, and men’s activation.

With a foundation in Mechanical Engineering and business, Adeyemi once built a successful career driving company growth and chasing the external markers of success.

At one stage, he landed the career opportunity of a lifetime, was in a loving relationship, and appeared to have everything he had ever wanted.

But behind the surface, he felt increasingly empty, out of alignment with himself, his purpose, and his own truth. That disconnection led him to a breaking point, where the life he had built began to crumble.

In the search for answers, he turned his attention to the formative years that shaped him, marked by abuse, suppression, and the pain of feeling like a black sheep. He realized he had learned to cope by chasing achievement, money, and external validation. But as everything began to crumble, he chose to face the pain he had been carrying, and that choice changed everything for him.

Over the last decade, Adeyemi has immersed himself in deep inner work through dozens of psychedelic journeys, Tantra, sexual activation, inner child healing, and embodiment work.

Through these explorations, he began unravelingthe pain he had carried, the disconnection, shame, and unworthiness, and discovered a pathway back to intimacy, fulfillment, and purpose.

I first met Adeyemi during an intensive with David Deida, and from the first moment I encountered his presence, I knew I would love to have him on the show, and this conversation absolutely did not disappoint.

In this fast-paced dialogue, we cover a wide range of topics:

  • How Adeyemi moved from working as a cleaner in Germany for 7 euros an hour to becoming a sales and partnerships manager in the fintech industry in the UK in a short period of time

  • How a man can learn to navigate fear

  • How he can lead with self-belief in the face of uncertainty

  • Why learning to lead in the bedroom is deeply connected to leading in the boardroom

  • Why letting go of control, and leaning into trust might lead you to the very success you could be looking for

And so much more...

One of my favorite moments came toward the final third of our conversation. I experienced this palpable shift. All of a sudden, there was more flow guiding us, more vitality was present, and more play. I encourage you to listen all the way through and notice where that turning point came. I hold deep respect for Adeyemi and the work he’s bringing into the world, and I am confident that his fierce, penetrating presence in this conversation will inspire that same fire that lives inside of you.

Heart of Man
Rainier Wylde: Risking Authenticity Over Performance—Why Failing Better Matters More Than Performing Well | EP 56

Rainier Wylde is a gifted writer, teacher, and guide known for his direct and insightful approach to some of life’s toughest questions...

His work blends wisdom from ancient traditions with a modern understanding of life’s impermanence challenging us to confront our fears, embrace discomfort, and cultivate the strength to stay present to the raw experiences of life.

And for the past 20 years, he's been teaching and guiding people through this approach, helping them transform their lives.

To me, Rainier is one of those unique men whose very presence feels like a living story. He has lived a life of incredible contrasts: helping businesses at the highest level, then burning them to the ground. He has known both the heights of success and the depths of failure, and he has learned to speak about both with the same raw honesty.

He's also a master storyteller, weaving together ancient myth, his personal struggles, and timeless wisdom into reflections that don’t just engage our intellect, but land right in the core of who we are. And he does all of this with a lighthearted, warm, almost childlike approach.

He’s a philosopher of love, a guide into authenticity, and a man who has walked through the fire and come back with something to say.

What strikes me most about Rainier is not just his wisdom, but his willingness to fail fully, and then turn that same failure into beauty. He reminds us that authenticity is always more powerful than performance, and that the cracks in our lives are often the very places where light and creativity can break through.

In our conversation, discover:

  • What it means to risk authenticity over performance as men

  • How we can learn to fail better

  • How shame, when it's met with courage, can become a teacher that leads us into accountability and deeper integrity.

  • Rainier speaks vulnerably about his own journey into authenticity, which included owning his past infidelity and the describes how he moved through that experience with his partner.

  • We also explore why our lives can become unbearable when we refuse to embrace our inherent role as creators, and why reclaiming that role, becoming creative in our day-to-day lives, is vital if we want to live well.

And connected throughout our entire conversation, Rainier offers these simple yet profound reminders, like never missing a sunrise, calling us back to the beauty of being alive, and what really matters at the end of the day.I absolutely loved this conversation with Rainier...It was deep, messy, and real. And for me, it was a reminder of what becomes possible when we meet life with truth, humility, and wonder. My hope is that it does the same for you...—Connect with Rainier Wylde:

Heart of Man
Alex Lehmann: What Facing Death Taught Me About Living Fully — A Journey into Authenticity, Transformation & Masculinity | EP 55 [W/ Edward Dangerfield]

It’s time to share more of my story!

This episode is a little different, because this time, I’m the one being interviewed on my own show by my dear friend, Edward Dangerfield.

When he reached out a few months ago & suggested this, I didn’t know exactly why or what I was getting myself into...

But something in me felt it was the right thing to do.

What followed was a deep exploration into me as a man & as a coach: my motivations, my background & the moments that have shaped me most.

In this episode discover about:

  • My time as a paramedic & what facing a near-drowning experience taught me about life & death

  • The struggles I see men facing today in our world

  • My own interests, passions & the work I dedicate myself to

  • How I help men create transformation in leadership, relationships & intimacy

This conversation has been more raw & unfiltered than many of my other episodes. And as the podcast evolves, I notice the growing desire in myself to keep these dialogues that way.

To keep them deep, authentic & even a little messy...

I believe this kind of honesty is a rare currency in our fast-paced, ever-changing world & one that so many of us are longing for.

So if you’ve ever been curious about the man behind "Heart of Man", this is a great place to start.

Moving forward, I want to share more dialogues where I am being interviewed, covering conversations that go deeper into my story, my teachings, & my perspectives on masculinity, transformation, relationships & intimacy.

If there’s a topic you’d like me to dive into in a future episode, let me know in the comments or send me a message

I hope you enjoy this one as always!

Heart of Man
Edward Dangerfield: Facilitated Breath Repatterning [FBR]: The Breathwork Technique That Changed My Life | EP 54

Edward Dangerfield is back for his 3rd round on "Heart of Man"

And while we’ve explored a wide range of topics in our past conversations, from relationships, to coming home to our bodies, to finding sovereignty and integrity within our own sexual expression, we had yet to come together to explore the core element that first brought us into connection:

The breath.

Already early on in my work with Edward, I’d often hear him boldly claim,

  • “The way we breathe is the way we live.”

And over time, I came to see just how true that statement really is.

And while there are many forms of breathwork out there, similar to there being different styles of yoga or meditation—of all the practices I’ve explored, none have felt more powerful or life-altering than the innovative and emergent technique of Facilitated Breath Repatterning [FBR], which can be seen as a unique synthesis of breathwork and bodywork that I was trained in over 4 years ago.

Within the breathwork world it is common knowledge that certain styles of breathing can help us access non-ordinary states of consciousness, giving space for subconscious material to surface and allowing for the completion of incomplete reflexes and the release of unprocessed emotions.

In FBR, however, I had yet to find a modality that systematically focuses on both adjusting breathing mechanics and guiding the movement of breath through the body, something Edward has relentlessly refined over a decade of devoted practice.

If you consider that we breathe on average 21,000–26,000 times a day, and if we’ve habitually learned to breathe poorly or in maladaptive ways, this means we’re repeating that poor pattern 1000's of times every single day...

But if we can shift the way we breathe subconsciously, the effect on our physical, mental and emotional health, can be profound.

In my eyes, it’s absolutely no understatement to say that this practice has been revolutionary in my life. And while I’ve continued to learn from different mentors and teachers over the years, I’ve remained devoted to this practice as the foundational work from which everything else is built.

For me, it felt important for us to come together in this way—out of recognition for just how powerful this modality has been for me. I see that a core part of my mission is to support spreading it, and in this conversation, I seek to contribute to that by offering something that does this modality justice.

For those who haven’t yet experienced it for themselves. I believe this conversation does just that...

Heart of Man
Alison Armstrong: Understanding The Stages Of A Man's Life | EP 52

Alison Armstrong is back for her second round on 'The Heart of Man'.

For those of you unfamiliar with her, Alison is a sought-after teacher, thought leader, and the author of the best-selling books 'Keys to the Kingdom' and 'The Queen's Code'.

For over three decades, she has been teaching and speaking about men, women, human behavior, and relationships.

Through her seminars, books, online programs, and media contrutions, she has helped millions of people create more fulfilling lives, loving relationships, stronger families, and more productive organizations.

As her work has evolved over the decades, Alison has focused on illuminating the human instincts that shape behavior, instincts that transcend gender, age, or upbringing.

She helps us see how these deeply embedded tendencies can create conflict in relationships, and how understanding them can lead to more harmony, connection, and clarity.

I’m incredibly excited to share this upcoming conversation with you, where we dive into one of the frameworks that has deeply shaped my own life:

  • The Amazing Development of Men.

This model outlines the stages that a man will instinctively move through in his life — from Page all the way to Elder —each coming with its own distinct characteristics, motivations, and lessons.

I’ve found it to be an incredibly valuable map for understanding myself, identifying what I need in the phase that I'm in, and navigating the potential friction that can arise in intimate relationships.

In this interview, discover:

  • The critical stages of the prince, tunnel and the king

  • What types of princes exist, what unique challenges they face, and how they can skillfully navigate the relational conflicts that can often arise during this period

  • What kind of woman a man chooses when he’s ready to build a life

  • Why the belief that men are non-committal is a myth

  • About the powerful “Tunnel” stage, which can be seen as a reckoning and deep period of reflection where a man confronts the ways he may have abandoned & betrayed himself in pursuit of success or approval.

  • How to move through the tunnel deliberately through the process of Noble Forgiveness — a pathway navigating through shame that ultimately allows a man to step into the King stage with clarity and integrity.

As with our last conversation, I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Alison. I continue to be deeply inspired by her work, especially by the reverence and clarity with which she speaks about men. Her teachings offer profound insight not only into relationships, but into our own development, and I’m confident you’ll receive value from it.

This is one you won’t want to miss...

Heart of Man
Steve James: Embodiment, Meditation & Survival At The Edge Of Life | EP 51

Steve James is a meditation teacher, somatic practitioner, artist & the host of the Guru Viking Podcast. With a rich & diverse background, his work todays bridges the worlds of body-based practices & contemplative spiritual traditions.

Growing up in Scottland, his journey into body-based disciplines began at the ripe age of five with martial arts & intensive physical training, eventually leading to elite-level competition as a member of the Scottish Fencing team in his teens. He later expanded his practice to include yoga, qigong, and physical performance

In parallel, Steve's path into contemplative & spiritual disciplines started early through an apprenticeship with a Christian mystic from the Celtic tradition. And this formative experience inspired years of study & deep personal practice in prayer, contemplation, and inquiry. He has continued this journey through extensive meditation practice, silent retreats & extensive studies in world mysticism.

As a result of his unique range of experiences & understanding of human behaviour, high performance, spirituality & interpersonal relationships, he is highly sought after by leading figures at the highest levels of the arts, entertainment & business.

In our interview, we explore:

  • Steve's perspective on the value of exploring meditation & contemplative practices that teach us to go beyond the body, alongside body-based practices that deeply engage us into our bodies.

  • His personal interest & philosophy around pushing the limits of physical & psychological performance, including his pursuit of arctic survival training in Sweden's boreal forest, where daytime temperatures reach highs of only -24°C.

  • Our individual encounters at the edge of life, sharing our personal near-death experiences & reflecting on how these moments have shaped us & what they taught us about life moving forward.

I thoroughly enjoyed my conversation with Steve and found it to be a powerful discussion for all the men here seeking deeper self-cultivation, whether physically, mentally, emotionally, or spiritually with a highly regarded teacher in the transformational growth space.—

Heart of Man
Dr. Peter A. Levine: How The Body Remembers Trauma — And The Journey Of Healing | EP 50

'Trauma is a fact of life. It does not, however, have to be a life sentence. Not only can trauma be healed, but with appropriate guidance and support, it can be transformative'

This insight comes from one of the world’s foremost experts on trauma, and a true pioneer in the field: Dr. Peter Levine.

He is the developer of Somatic Experiencing®, a groundbreaking, neurobiological approach to trauma healing that he’s spent over 50 years developing. With doctorates in both Biophysics and Psychology, Peter has helped redefine how we understand trauma in the world not as a disorder of the mind, but as a deeply embedded, hyperaroused stress response in the body that calls for a body-oriented approach to healing.

His best-known work, Waking the Tiger, has become a classic in the field of trauma and has been published in over 29 languages.

He’s also the author of 'Healing Trauma', 'In an Unspoken Voice', 'Trauma and Memory', and his most recent book, An 'Autobiography of Trauma: A Healing Journey' which is a deeply personal look into his life and his journey of overcoming trauma.

Dr. Levine’s work has now been taught to over 30,000 therapists in more than 42 countries, he's been recognized with multiple Lifetime Achievement Awards, and he continues to teach and consult internationally.

In my interview with Dr. Levine, we explore his core understandings of trauma, debunking the myth that it’s a brain disorder or a psychological weakness. Instead, he frames trauma as the body’s natural response to overwhelming experiences that were never fully processed or completed.

We discuss:

  • The relationship between trauma and the body, and why true healing doesn’t happen solely through cognitive insight, but through deep bodily integration

  • A powerful story from his book 'In an Unspoken Voice', sharing his experience of being hit by a car 20 years ago. He walks us through how he processed and released the stress response in his body, which helped him mitigate the onset of PTSD and served as a real-time application of his life's work.

  • The process of writing his most recent book and the deeper intention behind sharing his personal journey.

  • How men, especially those conditioned to view the world through a lens of threat or mistrust can begin to return back to safety, openness, and intimacy in relationship.

Dr. Peter Levine’s work has been absolutely foundational in my own life, helping me understand trauma and how to work through my own personal experiences with chronic anxiety and depression.

I see this episode as an important one for any man who’s seeking a deeper understanding of what trauma is, and how to begin orientating back to the body and learning to work with it.

It was an absolute honor to speak with someone I consider a true legend in the field. I deeply commend Dr. Levine’s resilience, dedication, courage and his unwavering commitment to bringing these revolutionary insights to the world at a time when few people even understood what trauma was.

Alex Grendi is back for his second round on The Heart of Man and I’m incredibly excited for all of you to drop into our conversation today.

Over the last year, I’ve been working with more and more men who wanted to last longer, overcome performance anxiety, or build more fulfilling sexual relationships. And with that, I began to feel a strong urge to create a clear roadmap for any man struggling in this area.

A map that doesn’t just treat the surface-level symptoms of premature ejaculation or erectile dysfunction, but actually gets down to the root of what’s really going on...

So for me, this conversation wasn’t just about performing better, even though that's something we cover extensively. In our conversation, we cover:

  • The deeper conditioning so many men carry around sex: how our early experiences shape us, and how shame, fear, and guilt often get wired into our bodies long before we even understand what sex is.

  • Why so many men feel the pressure to perform, but have never actually been taught how to connect with their own pleasure, know their desires, feel safe in their bodies, or lead from a place of honesty.

  • The steps a man can take to last longer and experience more fulfilling sex. Along the way, I share personal reflections both from my own journey and from the men I’ve worked with on the challenges that often arise and how to navigate them.

  • Intimacy in relationships, and the importance of bringing more joy, play, and lightness into the bedroom.

For those of you who haven’t listened to my first podcast with Alex (which I highly recommend), Alex is a men’s sex coach who helps men overcome premature ejaculation and erectile dysfunction so they can fully satisfy their partners in the bedroom.

Before entering this field of work, Alex personally experienced all kinds of challenges and insecurities in the bedroom. And despite having had a number of sexual experiences, he consistently felt disconnected from himself and his partners, often navigating sex through fear, anxiety, or relying on substances just to get through the moment.

Determined to find a path to deeper peace and connection, Alex embarked on a journey of self-exploration to understand the challenges he was facing, eventually leading him to become a sex coach himself.

What I’ve always appreciated about Alex and his approach is the compassion he brings to the suffering so many men experience in this part of their lives and the stand he takes for men to feel safe in their sexuality while also learning to own what they truly want and need.

The way he delivers his teachings is simple, grounded, and direct, which is what makes the path forward feel not only accessible, but genuinely achievable.

Over the last few years, I’ve shared openly that sexuality has been one of my deepest areas of growth, especially in reclaiming my expression, stepping into deeper confidence in both relationships and business, and experiencing a greater sense of satisfaction in my life overall.

If you’re a man who’s felt dissatisfied with your performance in the bedroom, but you’re also longing to experience deeper satisfaction and connection with an intimate partner, this one’s for you.

Heart of Man
Jamie Clements: Is 'Breathwork' The Answer To Disconnection And A Crisis Of Meaning? | EP 48

Breathwork has been and continues to be a foundational part of my personal and professional journey...

However, after nearly 50 published episodes, we’ve yet to dive deep into its transformative power. This is something, I’m excited to change today in my conversation with Jamie Clements.

As a leading breathwork coach and the founder of 'The Breath Space', Jamie is dedicated to helping people reconnect with themselves through the accessible and transformative tool of their own breath.

Having struggled with anxiety, depression and panic attacks in his late teens and early 20s, Jamie discovered the power of breathwork through his own lived experience. What began as a tool for exploration to support him on his journey, ultimately became a pathway to embodiment, emotional freedom, and purpose.

His mission today is to make breathwork both accessible and transformative. Whether it's performance breathwork for athletes, therapeutic breathwork for healing, or simple breathing techniques for nervous system regulation, Jamie believes that the power of the breath can support us all. He works with a wide range of clients—from entrepreneurs and athletes to creatives and professionals—supporting them in cultivating healthier & more resilient lives.

In our conversation, Jamie and I explore:

  • His personal journey—from disconnection. Disembodiment & loss of purpose to reconnection, inner alignment & meaning.

  • The challenges of our modern times, and how so many men are conditioned to live out the scripts of who we think we should be, rather than embracing who we truly are. ..

  • We distill the umbrella term of breathwork into three core pillars: 1) functional breathing for everyday health, 2) emotional regulation and nervous system balance, and 3) therapeutic/transformational breathwork for healing.

  • Throughout our conversation, we dive into the nuances of each pillar, highlighting key things to pay attention to, common pitfalls to avoid, and the personal breakthroughs and benefits that can emerge from this powerful practice.

  • We also discuss the importance of discernment when pursuing a path of healing, and how meaningful inner work requires the support of community, integration, and embracing who we already are today.

As I see it, this episode is a powerful one for any man looking to understand the depth and breadth of breathwork—not just as a tool, but as a way of living. It offers both practical insights alongside emotional depth for anyone on a path of healing, self-discovery, and embodied leadership

Let's dive in...

Heart of Man
Bjoern Keune: When Chasing Success Costs You Integrity & Freedom — and How to Reclaim It | EP 47

Bjoern Keune is a successful entrepreneur and investor with over 13 years of experience founding and managing companies—and someone I am proud to call a dear friend.

Leaving business school before graduation to immerse himself in real-world entrepreneurship, Bjoern co-founded and served as CEO of Invincible Brands, a direct-to-consumer platform that he scaled from zero to €120 million in sales within just five years.

Despite his extraordinary achievements, Bjoern’s relentless pursuit of success came at a significant personal cost. Along the way, he created numerous personas, or false images, of how he believed he needed to show up to fulfill the role of leading the company.

To cope with the intense demands of running the business, he developed several addictions, which, in his own words, ruined the health of his own body and mind.

The emptiness of this reality and the worsening of his life circumstances forced him down a path of self-discovery in the search for answers. After exiting the company and finally achieving the business success he had always believed would bring him the freedom he was looking for, he realized this achievement did not offer him the liberation he truly desired.

Overwhelmed by stress, disconnected from his true self, and burdened by the weight of the inauthentic personas he had created, Bjoern recognized the need for radical transformation and a return to integrity with himself and his environment.

It was during this time that he explored various ancient wisdom teachings, coaching, and connected with the life-altering practice of Connected Breathwork. These tools allowed him to reclaim his sense of self and uncover a deeper connection with his inner truth. Through this journey, Bjoern gained a new perspective on life, realizing that the happiness and freedom he sought could not be achieved through his old methods alone.

In our conversation together:

  • Bjoern and I dove deeply into his personal journey as he pursued external success. He acknowledged that, along his journey, he lost sight of the very freedom he had been searching for. Instead, he became trapped in a system that left him feeling anything but free— living by the assumption that he had to be and show up in a certain way.
  • We explored the roles and personas Bjoern adopted - repeatedly affirming to himself that he needed to be someone other than who he truly is.
  • We also unpacked the weight of the demands he was experiencing and the vices he subsequently turned to—such as pornography, sex, and drugs—to manage the overwhelm of his circumstances and the pain of disconnection, as well as the challenge of letting these vices go when he had relied upon them to self-soothe, self-regulate, and meet unmet needs.
  • We dove into his journey of change, including how he stepped out of the roles, personas, and identities he had created for himself, and how he embraced the emotions he had long disconnected from—particularly in relationship to grief.
  • We discussed the power of radical honesty and what it looked like for Bjoern to return to integrity and become a man he could truly be proud of.

This has been an incredible conversation with someone I deeply value in my life. I trust that his personal journey will support and inspire your own.

Heart of Man
Ryan Moresby-White: 'Heal The Boy, So The Man Can Appear' | EP 46

'Heal The Boy, So The Man Can Appear'

This message lies at the heart of my next guest's work: Ryan Moresby-White.

As a relationship coach and advocate for men’s mental health, Ryan is devoted to helping men uncover and heal the root causes of their suffering—unresolved childhood trauma, internalized shame, and the emotional disconnection so many men carry in silence.

His mission is clear:

To guide men into a deeper relationship with themselves, to help them face the wounds of their past with compassion and courage, and to support them in reclaiming a more integrated, authentic expression of masculinity—one that holds both strength and softness, direction and depth.

Born in South Africa and raised in Australia, Ryan appeared to be doing everything “right” on the surface nearly a decade ago—building a successful career in the construction industry and relentlessly following the path he believed he was meant to take. Yet internally, the weight of living a façade began to wear on him.

Over time, it became clear that the high expectations placed on him growing up, the emotional disconnection within his family, and a deep fear of abandonment had quietly shaped his sense of self—leaving him with the belief that he was unworthy and unlovable. It wasn’t until he came face-to-face with his deep need for significance—and the emotional pain he had long been trying to mask—that he began the journey of unraveling his past and rebuilding himself from within."

It was during this pivotal time that it became clear to him: if we want lives of authenticity and freedom, we must address our early developmental stages and understand how they continue to influence us today.

In our conversation, Ryan and I dive deep into;

  • His understanding of how we are shaped from a young age as boys, the stories we inherit, and the internalized shame that festers as a result of emotional wounding.

  • We discuss how to move through this shame and also explore how our relationships with our mothers and fathers shape us—unpacking the mother wound and examining how Ryan worked through his relationship with his father, ultimately finding acceptance for the high demands placed on him from a young age.

  • We discuss the critical role that cultivating nourishment as a discipline, along with the importance of brotherhood and community plays as essential pillars in fostering emotional resilience."

As I see it, this episode is a powerful one for any man looking to gain a deeper understanding of how our past shapes our present—impacting our relationships, professional lives, and connection to ourselves. It touches on essential pillars needed for a journey of restoration and healing and offers a glimpse into what’s possible when a man does this work.

And now let’s dive into this powerful and heart-led conversation with Ryan Moresby-White and me

Heart of Man
Solange Beaumont: Healing The 'Mother' & 'Father' Wound To Transform Your Relationships | EP 45

Solange Beaumont is a Holistic Trauma Healing Therapist with over a decade of experience in supporting individuals through emotional healing and growth.

Her passion lies in guiding people toward healing deep emotional wounds and facilitating spaces where they can acknowledge the pains of their past. She supports them in unraveling layers of emotional armor and dissolving blockages that have created disconnection from themselves and others.

Solange's own healing journey began at the early age of 16. After losing her father, who had been her primary caregiver, she was left feeling lost and disconnected. This experience set her on a path of growth and healing that has unfolded over the past two decades, guiding her through grief, co-dependency, feelings of unworthiness, loneliness, and suppressed emotions she hadn’t yet acknowledged.

A core aspect of Solange's work today is Family Constellation Therapy, a unique healing modality that uncovers hidden dynamics within family systems and relationships. This approach aims to address imbalances or dysfunctions by resolving unresolved conflicts or wounds within the family, whether they exist on a conscious or subconscious level

It was in one of these workshop settings that I first encountered Solange and her transformative work. During the workshop, I began addressing an early imprint related to my mother—one I had become aware was showing up in my intimate relationships.

What transpired during this time was something I could never have anticipated. This experience provided an opportunity to see, acknowledge, and fully feel emotions that had been repressed for nearly three decades. For the first time, I was able to offer the response I had longed to express but couldn’t at a younger age.

I left the session with a palpable sense of change, noticing a distinct shift in my relationship with my parents as I prepared to return to Germany just a few days later.

Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to return for one more constellation, and once again, I left with a similar, palpable shift—acknowledging what had been left unacknowledged and gaining a deeper discernment of what is mine and what is not.

For the purpose of this interview, I wanted to come together with Solange to explore the early imprints we receive from our primary caregivers, and how our relationships with our mother and father shape us later in adult life, particularly when we come together in intimate relationship with others.

We unpack some of the systemic principles of this modality and how it can help us understand potential imbalances we may have experienced. We discuss how we can acknowledge these imbalances, give ourselves permission to feel what’s there, see what’s present, and ultimately come into a maturation and individuation beyond those initial imprints.

This is an incredible conversation for anyone seeking a deeper understanding of how our early imprints can impact us today and how we can integrate them to live with more sovereignty and authenticity. Having personally experienced significant results from her work, I also hope that sharing my experiences will be beneficial to you...

Heart of Man
Chris Bale: How Can Men Today Reclaim Their Boldness? | EP 44

Chris Bale is back for our second round on Heart of Man—and this conversation together truly did not disappoint.

For those of you who may not have listened to our first conversation or are new to Chris, he is an internationally recognized Energy Worker, Qi Gong Teacher, and Intimacy Mentor. Over the past decade, Chris has supported profound transformations in the lives of thousands of men and women from around the world.

In his early years, Chris pursued extensive training across a variety of healing modalities, including Traditional Chinese Medicine, acupuncture, medical qigong, reiki, and sexual alchemy. Alongside this, he has spent many years immersed in his own internal work, dismantling personal conditioning and gaining a deep experiential understanding of human energetics. And this foundation shapes the powerful work he offers today .

In this episode, Chris and I dive deeply into the nuances of man-woman relating, intimacy and sex, where he shares profound insights on creating deeper harmony and connection. We also had an interesting exploration around a man’s relationship with shame and how he can reclaim his sense of boldness in the world—whether in owning his voice, pursuing his direction, being willing to experiment, learning from these experiences or stepping into the leadership he is called to embody.

I deeply value my conversations with Chris and am grateful for his willingness to return on the show to expand on the themes we explored in our first interview.

And for those who reached out about the audio issues in our first interview, I want to take a moment to apologize for any inconvenience—and I’m excited to bring you this one at much better quality.

And now, let’s dive into Round 2 with Chris...

Heart of Man
Ash Parkhouse: Breaking The Armor & Returning Men To Their Bodies | EP 43

Ash Parkhouse is a somatic bodyworker, personal trainer, and men’s coach, committed to guiding men back to their authentic selves through a unique blend of inner work and physical empowerment.

With over 15 years of experience in manual therapy and physical training, Ash has built a reputation as one of the go-to experts in Bali for all things related to the body. When someone experiences pain or challenges with their physical well-being, Ash is often the name people trust to bring them back to a place of restoration, balance and strength.

His unique approach integrates structural, somatic, and shamanic elements with compassion and practical techniques, empowering lasting transformation in his male clients.

His commitment to redefining what it means to be a man and addressing the urgent needs of modern men lies at the heart of his work...

Ash’s journey into this field has been deeply personal—marked by triumph over life’s darkest moments. From battling suicidal ideation to overcoming significant mental health challenges, Ash stands as a beacon of resilience, offering not just intellecutual knowledge but wisdom forged by his own lived experience.

I first met Ash a few years ago when he joined the team at Breathwork Bali, bringing his expertise to offer upskilling and training to us in the field. Over time, I discovered further parallels between us, as Ash had also been supported by one of my mentors, Amir Khalighi.

When I approached Ash about being a guest on my podcast, he suggested we start with a session together before recording our conversation. That session turned out to be one of the most impactful bodywork experiences of my life. It wasn’t just about releasing physical tension; it revealed areas in my body where I was still disconnected from myself and exposed the armoring that had been present to protect me—perhaps even for decades.

I left our session asking him how we could continue this work, which led to us meeting twice a week for a two and a half month period. During this time, I was able to restore deeper contact with certain areas of my body and release physical and emotional burdens I had carried for many years.

In our conversation together, Ash shares his wisdom about the human body and his observations of the patterns and compensations that emerge in men’s bodies due to past experiences or conditioning. He provides not only deep insights into the body’s innate intelligence but also practical tools for men to begin reclaiming their connection to themselves.

From there, our discussion transitions into Ash’s journey in men’s work, exploring his reflections on what it means to be a man and the lessons he has learned over years of actively engaging in personal growth and men’s development. Ash’s commitment to this work is a driving force behind the immersive experiences he now offers, helping men to move beyond disconnection and into alignment with their true selves.

As I see it, this episode offers you the chance to dive deeper into the wisdom of the body, exploring the ways we as men can stay disconnected, and learn actionable steps to reclaim that connection. Ash’s insights and experiences, combined with his own journey of reclaiming his masculinity, provide a powerful discussion for anyone seeking to express themselves more fully as a man

Heart of Man
Steve Shiva Corbett: Empowering Leadership Through Vulnerability | EP 42

Steve Shiva Corbett is a man committed to embodying deep integrity, presence & authentic masculinity in his life & work...

As a coach, leader & father of 2, he is the founder of multiple organizations devoted to human transformation through psychological, sexual & embodiment practices. His work is a call to those men that are ready to step into their power, confront their shadows & live in alignment with their deeper truth.

For over 14 years, Steve has walked the path of Tantra, a philosophy & practice that demanded radical self-awareness & deep integration from within. Introduced to its teachings at the OSHO International Resort in Pune, India, he discovered a way of living for himself that honors the full spectrum of the human experience—whether the light & the shadow alike. This integration is at the heart of his teachings, guiding men toward greater presence, authenticity, and wholeness.

A long time ago, however, his life looked very different...

Steve climbed the corporate ladder to become a Sales Director in a successful international company & from the outside, it seemed like he had it all...

In his own words, he was living the rock star lifestyle—good money, an apartment with a pool, a BMW convertible, top beaches & a beautiful girlfriend. Everything was at his feet.

Except for one thing:

he couldn’t feel a thing. Beneath the surface, he was empty. There was no joy.

The confronting truth he had to face was that his success was built on a carefully constructed image—one that wasn’t truly him. A reputation built on lies. And facing the truth meant tearing that very image down, piece by piece. It meant stripping away every action, behavior & belief that wasn’t aligned with who he really was.

As he puts it:

"I had to transform from the man I thought I had to be into the man I actually am. I now know—nothing beats the truth. Except my heart. And I listen to every beat, keeping me in my integrity, in who I am, in any given moment, wherever I am."

In our conversation, we explored:

  • Steve’s personal journey toward deeper congruence—aligning how he presented himself externally with who he truly is.
  • The challenges he faced stepping into greater authenticity
  • How a significant part of his journey involved recognizing & reclaiming the innate sensitivity he had carried since childhood
  • How he worked to integrate all aspects of himself, breaking free from the grip of past conditioning
  • Masculine and feminine energetics—not only what they mean from Steve’s perspective but also how we can embody them in our own lives.

A recurring theme in our discussion was the role of vulnerability in a man’s life...

We examined the risks of remaining guarded & the impact that avoidance can have on our connection to ourselves & others. The conversation sheds light on the dangers of suppressing what we fear & the power of embracing our full emotional spectrum, cultivating true emotional competence in the process

This is a powerful episode for any man seeking to closer understand concepts such as polarity, masculine and feminine energetics, and how to embody these principles in a way that fosters deeper self-awareness, connection & leadership—both in their personal lives & relationships.

Heart of Man
Pat Divilly: A Man's Guide To Shadow Work, Self-Sabotage & Facing The Inner Critic | EP 41
  • Pat Divilly is a teacher, wellness coach, podcast host, breathwork facilitator, and the author of the national best-selling book Fit Mind. With over 15 years of experience in the wellness industry, Pat’s journey began in the physical fitness space before evolving into a deep exploration of mental, emotional, and relational wellness.

Driven by a passion for growth, healing, and connection, his mission is to create a more authentic and connected world—one where we all live with compassion, playfulness, and curiosity.

Today, Pat leads transformative programs for men’s health, offers corporate wellness workshops, and runs a six-month Breathwork Facilitator Training called Journey – The Breath. He also provides coaching, breathwork, and body-based therapies to help clients heal through past trauma, develop confidence, and reconnect with their authentic selves.

As a speaker, author, and podcaster, Pat shares his insights and knowledge in digestible ways to make wellness resources accessible to anyone on a path of self-discovery and healing.

At the core of Pat’s work, as I see it, is the belief that it’s our privilege to embrace all parts of ourselves—both our light and our shadow. In today’s conversation, we’ll dive into one of the most essential aspects of his work: the shadow, in anticipation of the release of his upcoming book „Shadow Work“.

In my own journey, I first encountered the concept of the shadow several years ago, a term popularized in Western culture by the renowned psychotherapist Carl Jung – and in our conversation today, Pat and I explore the origins of the shadow, how it’s formed, and how we can bring awareness to it.

    We discuss:

    • The unconscious behaviors and protective strategies we may be playing out, how to work with them, and how this awareness can transform how we relate to ourselves and others.

    • How the shadow shows up in romantic relationships

    • Common emotions we often push into the shadow, such as shame, grief, and anger.

    • We tackle the ever-present inner critic, which is so common for many men, and discuss how we can relate to it in a healthier way to live more freely and authentically.

At the heart of this episode is the importance of shining light on the aspects of ourselves that are hidden and may be unconsciously dictating our lives—bringing them into awareness, and learning to be in right relationship with them.

As I see it, this conversation serves as a masterclass on the shadow—understanding what it is, how we encounter it, and how we can integrate those disowned aspects of ourselves into our daily lives.

This is a conversation you won’t want to miss, and it’s been an absolute pleasure for me to co-create with my new friend, Pat...

    Heart of Man
Vix Anderton: Overcoming Perfectionism & Leading With Authenticity | EP 40

Vix Anderton is a somatic coach, authentic relating teacher, author, and self-described recovering perfectionist...

In her own words, she spent over 15 years chasing achievement, striving to feel good enough, all in high-stress environments. This included her service in the UK Royal Air Force, and working as an advisor & consultant in corporate settings

In pursuit of deeper liberation by working for herself, she doubled down on her famliar strategies of perfectionism, which ultimately led to burnout in her corporate role & set her on a journey of healing & deeper self discovery

Drawing on her extensive experience in high-stress environments, from war zones to boardrooms, her work today is rooted in the foundational understandings of embodiment - using the principles of the nervous system, cyclical living & authentic relating to help resonating perfectionists bravely build more sustainable & authentic ways of being.

Her passion lies in helping individuals overcome the internalized oppression that perfectionism brings upon us, enabling them to reconnect with themselves, others, and the world around them. She is dedicated to guiding others in unlocking their inner wisdom, nurturing resilience, and expanding their embodied range, empowering them to navigate life's uncertainties with grace and confidence.

Within our conversation together, we address this phenomenon of perfectionsim – discussing it as a coping mechanim that leads to unhelpful strategies in life, which tend to lead to repetitive behaviors that are not helpful for our long-term happiness nor wellbeing. Rather than supporting us, they become a collection of habits and patterns we use to protect ourselves. And while these mechanisms can be highly effective, they do come at a very high cost:

In our attempts to guard ourselves, we also prevent ourselves from being truly seen by others.

We discuss how the essential pillars of embodied awareness and resourcing ourselves can support the development of deeper range, allowing us to discover new ways of operating, so we're no longer confined by these old strategies

We also touch on the modality of authentic relating, which has deeply influenced my own journey a few years back, supporting me to recover a deeper authenticity with myself and also foster deeper connections with others – and within that, we explore elements such as authenticity and what it truly means to experience relational intimacy with someone

At its core, we explored that the more deeply we welcome every aspect of ourselves, the more comfortable we become in our own authentic expression, reducing the need to hide behind masks such as perfectionism. We also explored key principles embedded in the practice of authentic relating, offering a framework to create more depth and connection with ourselves and others

And as always, these are only some of the subject matters that we address

If you’re a man who perpetually struggles under the weight of your inner critic—demanding more from yourself, seeking perfection, yet at the same time desiring deeper harmony with yourself and others—this one’s for you...

    Heart of Man
Justin Patrick Pierce & Londin Angel Winters: Cultivating Lasting Passion In A Long-Term Partnership | EP 39

This has been a conversation I’ve been eagerly looking forward to sharing with you for weeks...

It is arguably the most important discussion I've published to date on the subject of leading your relationships and sustaining the fire within them.

I have the great honor to be inviting Justin Patrick Pierce back on the podcast, this time alongside his wife, Londin Angel Winters.

The first podcast I recorded with Justin quickly became the most downloaded episode of the show and, as I see it, served as a powerful declaration of the importance for us as men to bring awareness to how we are showing up in our intimate relationships and how we can sustain desire over the long run

Today’s episode continues that conversation and goes even deeper into one essential question:

    • What does it take to sustain depth, intimacy, and fire in a long-term, committed monogamous relationship?

Before coming together for this conversation, I took time to reflect on the subject of desire, which can still feel somehwhat elusive and complex. Up until a few years ago, I myself couldn’t articulate what truly awakened my desire for someone—or what repelled it. I was also unaware of what creates the "neutrality" so many couples find themselves in over time.

For the sake of providing answers on the subject of what creates neutrality and how we can be liberated in our desires, I have structured our conversation together around the framework used by Justin and Londin in their most recent book, Playing with Fire

The episode today will be a continuation of my first conversation with Justin, so if you're unfamiliar with teachings of polarity, their book Playing with Fire, or their use of terms like “Alpha,” “Omega,” “Seer,” and “Feeler,” my encouragement is to listen to my first conversation with Justin as it lays a strong foundation for these teachings and the ideas we explore today.

In the realm of polarity, sacred intimacy, and welcoming relationships as a ground for spiritual growth, I hold few individuals in higher regard than Justin and Londin.

Together, they lead a business, write, teach, and live as householders, while also raising their daughter, Eva, and remaining committed to sustaining the fire of their relationship—16 years strong.

My deepest hope is that this conversation leaves you with a clearer understanding of the foundational pillars that make relationships thrive, along with tools to support your own journey of love and intimacy.

    Heart of Man
Adam Jackson: The Heart Of Men’s Work With Sacred Sons’ Co-Founder | EP 38

Today on Heart of Man, I am honored to be joined by Adam Jackson, the co-founder and Chief Vision Officer of Sacred Sons, a leading global organization devoted to modern men's work, fostering brotherhood, and promoting conscious healing.

Renowned for hosting transformative large-scale men's gatherings, such as Convergence and EMX, these immersive experiences bring men from all over the world together to engage in deep healing, personal growth, and authentic connection.

Within Sacred Sons, Adam has played a pivotal role in creating spaces where men can explore their authentic selves, cultivate emotional resilience, and embrace embodied leadership.

He's also the host of the Sacred Sons Podcast, where he facilitates deep and transformative conversations with fellow leaders that guide men toward authentic masculinity and personal growth.

Their work is rooted in the belief that brotherhood is the medicine and that men’s healing must be relational, physical, and grounded in nature.

Through Sacred Sons, Adam and his team have been actively guiding the resurgence of the father archetype—both as a personal guide for wisdom and as a collective model for leadership and responsibility.

In his personal life, Fatherhood has deeply shaped Adam’s own journey, inspiring a deep commitment to conscious parenting, meaningful relationships, and continual inner growth. As a dedicated partner and father, Adam strives to live with intention, harmonizing his roles as a parent, partner, leader and visionary with purpose and authenticity.

In our conversation, Adam and I dive into the philosophy behind Sacred Sons, exploring some of the key challenges he encounters that men are facing during their trainings.

We discuss the importance of integrating embodiment alongside relational practices to foster deeper trust, connection, and emotional resilience.

We unpack the importance of incorporating ritual combat, where men consciously engage with each other through the use of gloves as a tool for connection and growth.

Adam also shares his insights on why he believes brotherhood is the medicine, and one of Sacred Sons' core missions in reintegrating the father archetype—both within individuals and in society as a whole. And these are just some of the subject matters we addressed.

This was truly a rich and transformative discussion that dives into the heart of men’s work with one of the leaders at the forefront of this movement. Now, without further ado, let’s dive into this conversation with Adam Jackson.
