While we aren’t ones to get too into the halloween season, we thought it would still be fun to have a themed episode this week! We’re fully leaning into the spooky atmosphere and discussing our biggest fears - some of them irrational for sure (even though we might disagree), our hypothetical nightmare blunt rotations, and some of our newly developed fears as we venture further into adulthood.
Topics discussed in this episode include:
our laughable irrational fears & where they stemmed from
textbook fears - we’re afraid of the ocean just like everybody else
some unpopular opinions (some might even say cancel worthy) on who would be in our nightmare blunt rotation
being an adult is scary!
Some of these make us wanna scream, but most of them make us laugh - happy spooky season to all who celebrate!

POV: you’re on facetime with us to recap Victoria’s birthday trip to Chicago. This four day long trip to the 312 included wining & dining, shopping til (some of us) dropped, and lots & lots of laughter! Some highlights include:
finessing a free section & entire night of free drinks
proving the theory beer before liquor makes you sicker
chicago restaurant & bar recommendations
how we got finessed, aka don’t lend your phone to strangers
how to plan a birthday surprise for even your nosiest friends
Maybe now that both of us are 25 & our brains are hopefully fully developed, we’ll be even cooler & more insightful than before (if that’s even possible)!

For a lot of us, the idea of being alone is pretty scary. It also appears to be a recurring theme in our post grad lives. In this week’s episode, we get straight to the point discussing that even though it’s not always appealing, spending the necessary time alone - whether it's taking a walk, trying something new for the first time, or even attending a concert by yourself - will definitely benefit you in the long run.
Topics covered in this week’s episode:
Our first encounters with truly feeling alone
Why being alone isn't the same thing as being lonely
Only you can dictate if you’re actually lonely, it doesn’t matter what others think
How doing things on your own can build confidence
Our favorite ways to spend time alone
We know, we know, it's scary, but it's not as bad as it seems.

The girlies are currently in “season 3”, and we’re not talking about the podcast. The idea of being in your “season 3” is simply being open to all the things life has to offer you - the introduction of new cast members, plot twists, character development, etc. Look at the third season of some iconic shows for example - Gossip Girl, Hannah Montana, Insecure. This week we are evaluating what our “season 3” of life is & what it means for us.
Topics covered in this week’s episode:
Looking at obstacles as opportunities
Distinguishing between a right vs wrong decision & if they even exist
What major plot points are expecting to experience soon
When do you actually enter a “season 3”?
When are you entering your “season 3”?
