#47: your guide to the 9-5 pt 3: burnout

The endless to-do lists, meetings that could’ve been emails, competing priorities, and an utter lack of interest in your role are more than enough to send you into burnout. Only a few years into our career, we’ve unfortunately found that this can be a recurring theme. This week, we’re discussing what burnout looks like for us and offering some tried and true advice on how to cope.

Topics discussed include:

  • What burnout & lack of inspiration feel like to us

  • Recommendations on how & when to express that to management

  • The burnout struggle olympics - you’re entitled to your own feelings!

  • Boundary setting in the corporate space

We’ve accepted that we likely have MANY years of a corporate career left, and learning how to manage burnout is a necessary skill.
