This interview with Sharon Oakley is pure gold. She shares her story of postpartum bladder leakage (and ultimately, prolapse), and how this led her to feeling like her vagina was "broken." Sharon was able to identify old stories and limiting beliefs that were holding her back, and rewrote them in a way that propelled her forward to health. With tools such as journaling and reframes, Sharon was able to resolve a majority of her pelvic floor concerns and is now living an active life with her husband and son.

  • How to find a great physical therapist 
  • The importance of differential diagnosis (in PT) and of creating individualized treatment plans
  • How Elizabeth helped design and refine Therawand tools for pelvic pain relief at-home
  • The importance of getting to know your body and how to listen to your tissues
  • Some very intimate tips about how to use tools (such as Therawand) and how to reduce fear around self-treatments and intercourse
