Papa
Sunne me kaafi chhota sa shabd hai yeh, par jitni jinnmedariya ye akele apne kandho pe uthate hain woh shayad hi shabdon me bayan kar sakun mai yaa koi.
Yaad hai mujhe aaj bhi jab chhoti thi main to kaise wo har roz subah mujhe school bus ke lie bus stop tak chhorne jaate the.
Main to apni hi dhun mei, hawaon se baatein karti, ladkhadate hue chalti thi.. Aur mere baste ka bojh uthate the mere papa.
Khud ki kameez purani hi sahi, mere har janmadin par kuch naya lekar aate the mere papa.
Kabhi kabhi khane ka man naa bhi ho to, "Ruko papa ko bolti hu" ke dar se khana kha leti thi main.
Padhne ka man naa bhi ho to unke khauf se cheezein yaad kar leti thi main.
Kabhi jo der ho jaye unhe ghar lautne me, mai pareshan ho kar mammy se puchti, kab aayenge papa. Aur wo bas yahi kahti ki aa jayenge.
Ek sukoon saa milta tha unki motorcycle ki awaz sun kar,Jab bhi unhe der hoti, mai pahoch jaati darwaje par,
Sochti thi puchungi unse aaj kyu unhe der hui, sab thik to hai, par
*pause*
Sirf sochti hi thi.
Wo mujhe dekhte aur kahte, "aaj der ho gayi beta". Aur mai bhul jaati sabkuch unke chehre pe thakaan dekh kar.
Mere har exam ki taiyaari karaate the wo Jab bhi class me top kiya, congratulations nahi, thank you kaha karte the wo, aese the mere papa.
Jaise jaise mai badi hoti gayi, hamari baatein bhi kam hoti gayi.
Pata nahi itna mushkil kyu tha, unse baatein karna, unse gale milna.
paas to the ham, fir bhi ek doori si thi.
Mazboor naa ho kar bhi ek mazboori si thi.
Kaash tabhi himmat juta ke "I love you Papa" kah diya hota, sun to lete wo.
Dil me afsos to nahi reh jaata koi, , Aaj agar kah bhi du to kya,jab sunne wala hi nahi koi.

What in the world is feeling to lose someone who means the world to you? Losing someone who loved you, cared for you, protected you, encouraged you, and most importantly, someone who was there for you when you were in dire need isn't as easy as falling off a log.
You are used to their presence, and the fact that they're always watching over you, it is excruciating for you to fathom that you're now on your own. And from here on, grief starts to surround you like the clouds drifting above your head to surround the moon.
People leave, but you're left with the memories you made with them, the lessons they taught you, the fun you had together, and everything about them makes you weak yet strong at the same time.
You finally cross your paths with someone who makes you believe in yourself and reminds you how invincible you're, but everything lasts only for a while. A few moments of pleasure followed by a lifetime of pain, and it truly hurts to find yourself in such a place.
You've no choice, but to ultimately be strong, remember the good days you spent together, and build a staircase of memories that leads you to the feeling that no matter where they're, they're still watching over you.

Can you imagine, someone so beloved to you coming towards you and the flow of your life taking you away from them. I can’t. I can’t even imagine something like that. But is it possible to slow the flow of life or to stop it midstream? Just a like river never stops midstream, life too couldn’t have stopped.
Listen to this beautiful song analysis to know all about it.
Sometimes in life, we come across a friendship, relationship or a situation that doesn't work. No matter how much you try to keep up to it, things fall apart. You try figuring it out like a jigsaw puzzle but ultimately, you have to give up. You give up not because you are tired of it, or that you don't like the other person anymore. It is simply because you did all you can to keep it good. It is not your fault that they suddenly stopped checking up on you when they moved to another city or got busy in a new job. It is not your fault that they couldn't return your calls or texts on time. You can't blame yourself for it.
Sometimes it is both the person who tries to maintain the bond but it still doesn't work. It isn't any of your fault, I would say. It just means that it is not meant to be. In life, we often get situations when we force ourselves to make it work. Be it in a professional place or a relationship. The 'not meant to be' thing applies to everything. Don't stretch something that has shown you signs of it not working. Let that person go. Let that job go. Let that thing go. Be disheartened, but take lessons from it. Whatever happens, happens for the good. You will get to know it sooner or later. The world doesn't stop for anyone, so neither should you.
It is indeed a hard fact to digest but some things in life are just not meant to be, no matter how much you try.

I want a gentle kind of love.
The one, where you can jump without any caution knowing there's a hand to catch you.
The one, where you feel like you can't breathe in the absence of the person.
The one which makes you question yourself,
if this is how love is supposed to be then why did you endure with so much suffering before.
The one where you can discuss about deep philosophical theories one minute
and laugh about that one drunk call in the other.
The one which makes you tear down the wall
you built around yourself throughout all these years.
The one where you actually realise
love doesn't have to be synonymous with pain.
Rather, it should be synonymous with home.

To the one who's feeling low,
I know you won't believe me when I say that I understand you, and it's completely okay. I just want you to know that you'll get past this, sooner or later.
You're in a position where it's difficult to explain about this whole thing going on with you because you, yourself don't know what's wrong. You just know that you're not feeling yourself. You feel completely lost. Everything around you seems to be going good and then suddenly, a blanket of negativity surrounds you. It's a feeling which engulfs you and you just want to cry.
When someone asks whether you're doing okay, you want to tell them that you're not. You want to tell them there's something eating you from inside and you don't know what it is, but you rather choose to lie. So, you tell them you're doing just fine. You feel dumb to not have a reason to feel this way, but trust me, you're not dumb. We've all been through such phases where we felt like our life was falling apart, like we were losing everyone in our lives. It's a feeling which can't be expressed; only felt.
You're having an amazing day and then suddenly you have a mental breakdown. You just want to shut people out because you need some space to figure out everything. And, it's okay. It's okay to shut people out for a while and figure out your own life. Just let them know that you're not doing okay and you need some time alone. You can't always be fine. No one's always fine.
Just look forward to get past this part of your life and moving onto the good parts. Sometimes, things are not going to be like you imagined, they'll be better. You need to know that you're not responsible for other people's actions, those are the choices they make. I can't assure you that you won't feel like this ever again, but I surely know, you'll face it by being much stronger - the next time. Always remember, you're loved and also, it's okay to keep yourself and your mental health - your first priority.
With love,
Someone who feels the same,
Eshika Modi.
