People Leave, Memories Stay

People Leave, Memories Stay

What in the world is feeling to lose someone who means the world to you? Losing someone who loved you, cared for you, protected you, encouraged you, and most importantly, someone who was there for you when you were in dire need isn't as easy as falling off a log.

You are used to their presence, and the fact that they're always watching over you, it is excruciating for you to fathom that you're now on your own. And from here on, grief starts to surround you like the clouds drifting above your head to surround the moon.

People leave, but you're left with the memories you made with them, the lessons they taught you, the fun you had together, and everything about them makes you weak yet strong at the same time.

You finally cross your paths with someone who makes you believe in yourself and reminds you how invincible you're, but everything lasts only for a while. A few moments of pleasure followed by a lifetime of pain, and it truly hurts to find yourself in such a place.

You've no choice, but to ultimately be strong, remember the good days you spent together, and build a staircase of memories that leads you to the feeling that no matter where they're, they're still watching over you.
