This week, we chopped it up with JT Knight aka Franck Mille of Pretty Fly Society. We dove deep into the origin of Pretty Fly Society and discussed how CR8CAN morphed into Bovtiqve Fashion Week. JT has been an entrepreneur for almost a decade, and has evolved much over that time. He sees Pretty Fly Society as the "New Roc-A-Fella" or "Bad Boy Records," as they are into multiple lanes of entertainment; including fashion, art, music, and culture. JT has a big vision for PFS and Bovtiqve Fashion Week, and dives into all here in this episode.

This week, we talked to Omar Carter, founder of the Omar Carter Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides education and training for life saving techniques, as well as providing other initiatives to help the community. Omar talks about his foundation and the inspiration behind it. Previously a pro athlete, Omar tells us how he nearly died from cardiac arrest during a game, and how that happening created a chain of events that has improved his life sense. Crystal Haynie and Natalya Segarra are the owners of Best Practices Virtual Learning. They decided to start their virtual tutoring business when the COVID-19 pandemic hit. Dr. Torri D. Barber is a former collegiate athlete turned Principal and Virtual School Director. He is also a business owner, owner of a Non-Profit Organization, author, mentor, husband, and father of three. Chantal is an actress and writer, formally, based out of New York, but now lives and works in Atlanta, GA. She is known for Teenage Bounty Hunters (2020), P-Valley (2020), Queen Sugar (2019), and Blue Bloods (2016). In this episode, we talked to Shaun "Lucky" Corbett, a Charlotte, NC transplant from NYC. Shaun is a community focused barber, who became the first black barber to franchise his business in Walmart. Shaun's barbershop, Lucky Spot Barbershop, now has two locations in Walmarts in Charlotte, NC, and he plans to partner with Walmart to franchise a total of 300 Lucky Spot Barbershops in Walmarts across the U.S.! Lucky is a community activist, constantly giving back to the community and providing opportunities for the youth. Lucky has been shouted out by President Obama for his programs and work in the community. Lucky was even invited to the White House, and had an opportunity to meet with, then Attorney General, Loretta Lynch, and other community leaders. Lucky tells his entire story about how he went from Felon to Barber to Business Owner to Community Leader. You will truly enjoy this episode.
