Oi Bonita!
I had the pleasure of speaking with Dr. Danielle Williams, who is a board certified family physician and medical aesthetics business owner. She owns Medically Fab in King of Prussia, PA.
This conversation is jam-packed with valuable information on skincare for people of color, choosing the right chemical peels, the differences between Botox and filler, and so much more!
The beauty industry has seen a rise in vegan-friendly beauty products, which is great news for those who want to look their best while avoiding animal-derived ingredients in their makeup. The makeup landscape is becoming more sustainable and vegan, appealing to customers who care about animal welfare, the environment, and personal well-being.
Several well-known makeup artists have launched their own vegan makeup lines, including Ashunta Sheriff, who is dedicated to revolutionizing the industry with cruelty-free products. I recently had the privilege of interviewing Ashunta Sheriff on our podcast, The Be Bonita, where we discussed her new vegan makeup line and her creative process when working with celebrities like Taraji P. Henson. Join us as we explore the world of cruelty-free beauty and dive into this fascinating conversation!
In this Episode, we discuss:
- Ashunta’s makeup line - easy to use, clean, eco-friendly, fun, creative
- What the creative process looks like for a makeup artist creating a makeup brand
- What does this role as a makeup artist mean for her
I hope you enjoy is as much as I did. You can find Ashunta Beauty Makeup: https://ashuntabeauty.com

Aliya Johnson Roberts grew up in a group, child care home of which her mother operated since the 1980s. She watched her mother be a serial entrepreneur and ultimately be of service to the community through education, skill development, and resources for self-building and self-sustaining skills.
