Woman, mother to a neutodivergent child and recently diagnosed with combined ADHD at the age of 32. I want to help others to understand ADHD and raise awareness so that young girls, or adult women, can get the help and support they need. Knowledge is power and if I can share my experiences and expertise with others and help even one person then I’ll rest easy knowing I’ve helped someone! You, me & ADHD
Episode 3 - The ADHD Crisis
*Trigger Warning* - in this episode I discuss the consequences of late or undiagnosed ADHD. I discuss sensitive topics such as self harm, substance abuse and suicide so please prioritise your mental health and bare that in mind before deciding to listen. I know it’s a difficult conversation, but it shouldn’t be and that’s why I feel like it is so important to have these conversations so that they’re more ‘the norm’. The episode does end on a positive so, if you do decide to listen, be sure to stick with me as I ramble on. Remember, I am on this journey for the first time myself and opening these doors for the first time. I am only human and am trying to simply raise awareness and remove the misunderstood stereotypes and stigmas attached to ADHD. So pour yourself a cup of tea and join me…

Episode 2 - My ADHD symptoms
In this episode I ramble off on a tangent about my main adhd symptoms - I brush over things such as: hyperfocus, memory, impulsiveness, concentration (or lack of) and procrastination! I also talk abit about how I cope, or don’t cope, with my symptoms. I’m no Doctor, adhd coach or medical professional! Just a woman with a late diagnosis, trying to raise awareness and share my experiences! Explicit content warning!! I am a little sweary in this episode and drop the odd S bomb. These podcasts are intended for adult listeners only!

In this episode I share my personal experience of my adhd diagnosis journey through the NHS. There were certain aspects that I wish I’d have known about before seeking my diagnosis and areas I felt unprepared for.
