After soul restoring pause, The Meraki Podcast is back.
This season begins with a return to the heart of it all: choosing everyday to live with intention, even when it’s messy, uncertain, or quiet.
In this episode, I reflect on the power of rest, the lesson in the stillness, and what it means to begin again.

On today’s episode #50, I will be talking about the shiny object syndrome & how often people look for the next big thing. People become to blinded on what they don’t have and become so focused on what everyone else does have. Instead of focusing on & being stuck in a vicious cycle, appreciate what you already have. The grass isn’t always greener on the other side. Good things take time and love.

On today’s episode I welcome iuscely a DACA recipient, a community mobilizer in the south side of Minowakiing, aka Milwaukee, a traditional Potawatomi, Ho-Chunk and Menominee homeland. She uses her voice and digital organizing skills to proactively write and generate events that focus on self determination and liberation. She is the Organizing Director for the Wisconsin Fair Maps Coalition and works under the Wisconsin Democracy Campaign. A political watchdog group that tracks money in politics. She started her organizing journey 14 years ago when she became the co-chair for the Wisconsin tuition equity committee, which included a group of students dedicated to finding access to higher education for undocumented youth.

On this episode of the Meraki podcast I introduce what it means to let people miss out on you. People are wants, people aren’t needs. We have to realize that we don’t own people, we experience people. If some people reject you, you help them close the door, not begging, they miss a blessing in disguise. Always going forward blessed with gratitude and love.

Hello everyone and welcome to the month of march where I’m introducing a new theme this month which is “The art of letting go”. I truly believe that moments & situations are not happening to us but happening through us and when we become the change we seek to experience, we will experience that change everywhere we go. The art of letting go teaches us that it had to happen so we could grow.
Just remember to surround yourself with people who:
empower you
Believe in you
Support you
Uplift you
Appreciate you

Today we will be talking about the amazing saying “To be cringe is to be free”. I realized that I wanted to talk about this not only because it is more of a light hearted topic but because as we all know Tik Tok was banned not that long ago for what about 12 hours and I’m sure most if not all people were devastated but then I realized that it truly is a unique app. The algorithm is different, the way that news is shared is different but also the creativity and openness that people have on there compared to other apps is so different & people truly can just be themselves. So just know that you’re not cringey, you just care too much about what people think!

I've noticed something about myself or others - in periods of self-reflection, the hardest things to address are contradictions and inconsistencies. It makes sense why this is so uncomfortable to address, it's because i feel like the consistency between our beliefs and our actions gives us a sense of emotional stability. When you find a contradiction or an inconsistency, it rattles that piece of our foundation. Today, I'm going to discuss why I believe it's okay to change our minds

Thanks for tuning in :)
On this week’s episode of The Meraki Podcast, I wanted to introduce the topic of self care and how we can be intentional about when in seasons of sadness, uncertainty, change, etc. always remember that you can’t pour from an empty cup. Take care of yourself first.
Sending so much love.
Hellooo <3 On this week’s episode, I dive into the idea that we deserve healthy love. Our self love is already enough. But this is a reminder that healthy love is out there and you’re so worthy of it. But how do we recognize them? And more importantly, how do we accept them into our lives?
