4 people in the studio this week! Mel and Mol are joined by Andy and Israr. 4 brain tumours… Interesting.
We are thrilled to have these two highly respected activists in our studio.
Andy Tudor is an avid volunteer for many charities such as, The Brain Tumour Charity and Radiotherapy UK following his own meningioma diagnosis, surgery and treatments.
Israr Jan-Parker is also someone we’re very lucky to have as an advocate in this space, after defeating the odds when diagnosed with a petroclival meningioma in May 2022. She had a 16-hour operation to remove the mass which left her unable to walk.
We talk survivors guilt, families, and some great humour.

In this episode, Mel and Mol engage in a difficult conversation around awareness days, months...every calendar date. The Awareness Day fatigue.
Awareness day fatigue refers to the feeling of exhaustion, apathy, or even cynicism people may experience due to the overwhelming number of awareness days, weeks, or months now marked on our calendars.
With the issue of brain tumours still so little acted on by decision makers and politicians, we reflect on our experiences of how the past few months have been…
