UFO Spotted in Northern Canada | The 1996 Yukon UFO Incident
Episode 32 - On a cold night along the Klondike Highway in the Yukon Territory of Canada, something strange was spotted hovering in the sky. What people witnessed that night puzzles them to this day, but many are certain it was a UFO. To researchers, this case remains one of the most significant and mysterious UFO sightings in Canada history. The reason for its significance was that it involved a large number of credible witnesses made up of civilians, local authorities, and even law enforcement. Most importantly they all reported seeing the same thing: strange lights and a massive object moving in the sky. In this episode we are going to examine the events that took place on the night of December 11th, 1996, the witnesses involved, the theories for what people saw, and the fact that the government gave no explanation for the event. Episode 25 - We have all heard about or have seen Canada’s breathtaking wilderness. Thickly packed forests, towering mountain ranges, and beautiful turquoise rivers. This week's story takes us to the Nahanni Valley, a place that many of you have never heard of before but it is no exception to the beauty of Canadian wilderness. Situated in the Northwest Territories, this national park consists of forests, waterfalls, lakes, rivers, and four deep canyons. However, the beauty of this place is quite deceiving, the Nahanni Valley has a darker side. A side so full of unexplained deaths and disappearances it has been named as Canada’s most mysterious and cursed national park. Based on a string of decapitations that began in the late 1800’s and early 1900's it earned the name: Valley of the Headless Men. Does this place harbor a dark secret that people have fallen victim to or is there a more logical explanation?   SHOW NOTES Nahanni National Park Reserve - Wikipedia Hikers Lost Their Heads: Inside Canada's Most Supernatural National Park (thetravel.com) Geology and Geomorphology - Nahanni National Park Reserve (canada.ca) The Valley of Headless Men Is One of Canada’s Creepiest Places (msn.com) The Valley of The Headless Men (thesquonkandthehag.com) (PfCoCAfRL Spotlight) The Valley of the Headless Men | RPG PUB Mysteries of the Nahinni Park Reserve in Canada — StrangeOutdoors.com River Stories: The McLeod Brothers Three | Nahanni River Adventures & Canadian River Expeditions Valley Of The Headless Men - Frontier Partisans The Lore Behind the Mystery of Canada's Nahanni National Park (fodors.com) Valley of Headless Men: Mysterious Decapitations in Canada’s Nahanni Valley | Ancient Origins (ancient-origins.net) Nahanni Valley of Headless Men | Nahanni Valley Deaths | by Strange Show | Mytsery, Documentary & weird news | Medium Legends of the Nahanni Valley (mysteriesofcanada.com) Dene - Wikipedia Families call for case of mysterious 2005 deaths to be reopened | CBC News The Haunting History of This Canadian National Park (fodors.com) The Valley of Headless Men – Nahanni Canada – Build Future Energy (wordpress.com) The big bad wood: Nahanni Valley - J.M.
