Rocketed to Earth as an infant, raised by his adoptive parents on a farm in Kansas, the last survivor of the doomed planet Krypton, Kal-El, grew up as mild-mannered Clark Kent. As a reporter for a major metropolitan newspaper, Clark kept his eyes on the world, and in times of peril fought for truth, justice, and the American way as the mighty hero Superman!
