True leadership isn’t just about what we build in our careers — it’s about the love, courage, and legacy we leave behind for those who matter most. About Sherry Richert Belul: Sherry Richert Belul is the founder of Simply Celebrate and author of The Love List of a Lifetime and Say It Now. She helps people discover creative, heartfelt ways to celebrate life, deepen connection, and express love—while also guiding people to plan for end-of-life in ways that bring meaning, ease, and even moments of joy. In this episode, Chabidaye discussed: Leading with love and legacy Planning with peace and purpose Balancing practical and personal preparation Modeling care through conversation Key Takeaways: Preparing for the end is not about fear but about love. Thoughtful planning today brings peace, clarity, and connection to those who matter most tomorrow. End-of-life preparation brings comfort and clarity, helping both individuals and families face the future with confidence and calm. Proactive planning blends legal and medical steps with heartfelt gestures like letters, stories, and conversations that preserve love and memory. Openly discussing end-of-life wishes teaches future generations about responsibility, intentionality, and treating preparation as an act of love. The Leadership Skill No One Taught You
In this episode, Chabidaye discusses: Leading with emotional intelligence Creating connection through presence Building trust through genuine care Growing through self-awareness and reflection Key Takeaways: Emotional intelligence is not a soft skill but a strategic advantage that shapes effective leadership. Leaders who understand emotions—both theirs and others’—build stronger, more resilient teams. Leadership influence grows from trust and emotional connection, not authority. A leader’s energy and attitude set the tone for every meeting, shaping how people feel and perform. When leaders take time to connect, appreciate, and listen, they inspire loyalty and collaboration. Genuine relationships turn teams into allies working toward a shared purpose. Emotional intelligence is developed through honest reflection and feedback. By staying aware of their impact, leaders create environments where people thrive and feel valued. "Emotional intelligence isn't a soft skill. It's the edge that separates good leaders from the unforgettable ones." — Chabidaye Jaglal Ramnath Apply now at https://www.leadandlift.com/coaching and take the next step to grow your emotional intelligence and leadership impact. Stop Waiting. Start Moving: The Truth About Procrastination
In this episode, Chabidaye discusses: Understanding procrastination as an emotional issue Applying the ACT framework to move forward Finding clarity through imperfect action Rebuilding confidence by doing one small thing Key Takeaways: Procrastination isn’t caused by laziness or lack of drive. It often stems from avoiding uncomfortable feelings tied to fear, doubt, or overwhelm. Recognizing this helps shift from guilt to growth. Awareness, Choice, and Tiny Actions (ACT) form the path to change. Know what you’re avoiding, choose what truly matters, and start with one small, imperfect step. Progress begins when you act. Waiting for the perfect moment only feeds hesitation. Clarity grows when you take consistent steps, learning and adjusting as you go. Action reveals what waiting cannot. Procrastination erodes self-belief, but even a single step restores it. Choose one task you’ve been putting off, take action today, and celebrate the momentum it creates. "Leaders, they don’t wait for the perfect moment—they go out and they create it." — Chabidaye Jaglal Ramnath CONNECT WITH CHABIDAYE: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/chabidaye.ramnath.3 Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/chabidaye/ Website: https://leadandlift.com/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/chabidayejaglalramnath/ Show notes by Podcastologist: Justine Talla Audio production by Turnkey Podcast Productions. You Can’t Build a Business with the Same Mindset That Kept You Stuck
In this episode, Chabidaye discusses: Action over perfection Decide with intention Confidence is built, not found Leadership requires a bold presence Key Takeaways: Progress comes from movement, not waiting for the “perfect” moment. Imperfect action beats polished hesitation every time. Indecision drains momentum. Strong leaders make conscious choices, understanding that not deciding is, in itself, a decision. Consistency breeds belief. Confidence grows through repeated effort, not through external validation or passive preparation. True leadership means showing up, even in fear. Chabidaye Jaglal Ramnath - Why Time Management Isn’t the Answer to Your Stress
In this episode, Chabidaye discuss: The myth of managing time Energy management is critical Setting boundaries Indicators of stress Key Takeaways: Stress isn't about managing time, but about emotional weight and self-imposed pressure. Remember that your worth is not tied to productivity Humans have natural energy rhythms, unlike machines. Listen to your body's energy cycles. Align work with peak energy levels instead of rigid time blocking. Stress comes from a lack of boundaries, not a lack of time. Learn to say no and protect your energy. Boundaries are bridges to protect your well-being, not selfish acts. Check your energy levels when feeling stressed. Identify where you're "leaking energy" in your day. Common energy drains include checking emails constantly, people pleasing, saying yes when you mean no, and feeling guilty during rest. "Time management is only surface level... what we need to focus on is below the surface, the real iceberg, which is the expectations, the self-judgment, and the pressure beneath it all." —  Chabidaye Jaglal Ramnath Download the FREE ebook: The #1 Reason You’re Stressed and What to Do About It: https://www.leadandlift.com/stress Inside, you’ll discover six simple, science-backed steps to regain balance, calm your mind, and boost your energy—without having to cancel your calendar. Chabidaye Jaglal Ramnath: The #1 Reason You’re Stressed—And It’s Not Your To-Do List
In this episode, Chabidaye discuss: Stress is a signal, not a status symbol Check your inner expectations Progress over perfection Let go to move forward Key Takeaways: If you're feeling overwhelmed, it's not because you're weak; it's because something needs care. Pay attention to what your stress is trying to tell you. It's not always the to-do list that drains you, it’s the pressure you put on yourself. Ask: What am I expecting of myself that no one else is? You don’t need perfect conditions to move forward. The real win is in starting, learning, and growing as you go. Success isn’t about doing more, it’s about releasing what’s weighing you down. Let go so that you can move forward. "You don't need to do more to feel better. You need to release what's weighing you down." —  Chabidaye Jaglal Ramnath Download the FREE ebook: The #1 Reason You’re Stressed and What To Do About It.  Inside, you’ll discover six simple, science-backed steps to regain balance, calm your mind, and boost your energy—without having to cancel your calendar. Chabidaye Jaglal Ramnath: The #1 Confidence Mistake Women Entrepreneurs Make (and How to Fix It Today)
In this episode, Chabidaye discuss: Confidence growth comes from within Factors that hold women entrepreneurs back How to build confidence The power of creating your own validation Key Takeaways: Confidence is a skill, not a fixed trait. It can be developed through action and practice, and is based on your belief in your own abilities and self-worth, not external validation. Women entrepreneurs often make the mistake of waiting for permission from others (clients, mentors, family) before taking action, which holds them back from success. Action builds confidence. Taking bold steps, even when you don't feel completely ready, helps you grow and develop self-assurance. The more you do something, the more confident you become. Create your own validation through a "confidence wins journal" by documenting your achievements, risks taken, and challenges overcome. This helps train your brain to recognize your own power and capabilities. "The only validation you need is the results you create, not other people's opinion." —  Chabidaye Jaglal Ramnath CONNECT WITH CHABIDAYE: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/chabidaye.ramnath.3 Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/chabidaye/ Website: https://leadandlift.com/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/chabidayejaglalramnath/ Show notes by Podcastologist: Justine Talla Audio production by Turnkey Podcast Productions. Chabidaye Jaglal Ramnath: The #1 Mistake High-Achievers Make in Their Relationships
In this episode, Chabidaye discuss: Pursuing goals without neglecting relationships  Don’t treat relationships like projects The key to meaningful relationships Vulnerability and authenticity strengthen connections with loved ones Key Takeaways: High achievers often neglect quality time and emotional connection in their relationships due to a focus on professional goals. Treating relationships like a project rather than nurturing them can lead to a transactional approach. The book "Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work" is recommended to help reconnect with a partner. Scheduling emotional check-ins and being present at the moment are important for maintaining meaningful relationships. Practicing emotional vulnerability and authenticity, rather than projecting strength and control, can help build deeper connections with loved ones. "Relationships are not checklists of things to complete. They're more like a garden that requires nurturing. You gotta go pull the weeds out, prune the trees, water it, fertilize it. You gotta spend time in the garden if you want to get fruits and flowers." —  Chabidaye Jaglal Ramnath CONNECT WITH CHABIDAYE: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/chabidaye.ramnath.3 Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/chabidaye/ Website: https://leadandlift.com/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/chabidayejaglalramnath/ Show notes by Podcastologist: Justine Talla Audio production by Turnkey Podcast Productions. Chabidaye Jaglal Ramnath: Why You're Feeling Disconnected and 3 Quick Fixes to Rekindle Relationships
In this episode, Chabidaye discuss: Strengthening your connection Positive balance in your relationship bank account How the mirror effect works Taking intentional steps to reconnect and strengthen relationships Key Takeaways: Diagnose and actively reconnect with important people when you feel the relationship connection weakening, similar to a poor Wi-Fi signal. Spend quality time and genuinely listen to them. Maintain a positive balance in your emotional "relationship bank account" by making daily deposits through expressions of gratitude, texts, and quality time. This prevents the account from becoming overdrawn. The energy and positivity you bring into a relationship can have a "mirror effect", causing others to reflect that same energy back. Showing up with vibrant energy can shift the dynamics. Small, intentional steps to reconnect and strengthen important relationships can make your life richer and more meaningful. Don't wait for the perfect time, take action now. Don't get bogged down in trying to multitask - prioritize this one key task and tackle it first before moving on to other items. Use the 4D system to categorize your tasks - do, delegate, delay, or delete. This helps you reduce decision fatigue and focus your energy on the essential tasks you need to personally complete. Don't be afraid to ask for help from others to delegate certain items. Manage your energy levels, not just your time. Pay attention to when you have high energy versus low energy periods during the day. Schedule your most important, cognitively-demanding work for your high energy times to maximize productivity and avoid burnout. Eliminate "shoulds" and unrealistic expectations. Let go of outdated beliefs or societal pressures that are weighing you down. Focus on aligning your tasks and goals with your true values and priorities. Celebrate small wins along the way rather than waiting for the big goal to be achieved. "It's not about doing more, but it's about doing what matters with intention. So take action on the steps that I shared with you today, and watch how small, focused efforts are going to lead you to big wins." — Chabidaye Jaglal Ramnath

Chabidaye Jaglal Ramnath: Ready to Let Go? 5 Things to Release Before the New Year
In this episode, Chabidaye discuss: Clearing out your suitcase to prepare for the new year From unrealistic expectations to realistic boundaries Decluttering your physical and digital spaces Resetting your mindset and practicing forgiveness Key Takeaways: Let go of your guilt from unfinished projects before the new year starts. Clear out your “overstuffed suitcase” so that you can make space for new achievements. Write down three achievements from the year and celebrate their progress. Set boundaries to avoid burnout and perfectionism. Identify unrealistic expectations and replace them with realistic boundaries. Limit your time with toxic people to maintain a positive and energized state. Dedicate 15 minutes to clear up physical clutter in your workspace and home to improve your overall productivity. Clean environment brings forth fresh ideas. Declutter digital spaces such as your email as well. Unsubscribe from unwanted email lists. Reset your mindset by practicing self-forgiveness and forgiveness towards others. Apply this by writing a forgiveness letter to yourself or others to release negative thoughts and emotions. Read new books monthly to grow skills, think positively, and create a more positive mindset for the new year. "You can't step into the next chapter holding on to everything from the past, letting go of guilt, clutter, and outdated expectations. It isn't just about clearing space, but what it does is it gives you renewed energy. It increases your joy and it increases your power.  You deserve to enter the new year feeling lighter, freer, and more aligned to the life that you want to create for yourself." —  Chabidaye Jaglal Ramnath FREE RESOURCES: Grab a free copy of the ebook: Six Strategies for Surviving Stress at www.leadandlift.com/stress Do you feel you’re being as productive, influential, and successful as you want to?  Are you struggling to stay focused, to get ahead, or to better influence your team or customers?  I can help!  Sign up now for a gift of 60 minutes of High-Performance Coaching.  https://www.leadandlift.com/coaching CONNECT WITH CHABIDAYE: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/chabidaye.ramnath.3 Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/chabidaye/ Website: https://leadandlift.com/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/chabidayejaglalramnath/ Show notes by Podcastologist: Justine Talla Audio production by Turnkey Podcast Productions.
