Our guest today is an activist comedian who this year performed at Vegan Camp Out. He recently took part in street activism with PETA, we the free, and our guest from episode 47, Jamie Logan.

Today’s guest is an author and activist. She’s published a vegan book for children, called Nero the brave little bull, which you can order from the Viva website (https://vivashop.org.uk/products/nero-the-brave-little-bull).
She spoke on the Education stage at Vegan Camp Out this year, calling out petting zoos, and if you’re in Canterbury in Kent on November 1st, you can also see her at the UK’s first vegan theatre, the Garlinge theatre where she’ll be speaking following a screening of the fantastic film, @icouldnevergovegan.

Giles, aka Vegan Design, is an award winning industrial designer from the UK, currently residing in Stockholm. He lived and worked in Tokyo for a total of 14 years, designing consumer electronics for several big brands.
Products he designed have been sold in the apple store in Tokyo and several electronics retailers around the globe. He is listed as an inventor in over 10 registered patents.
5 years ago when living in Germany, Giles went vegan. In his spare time between designing, he has built up a vegan activism platform on TikTok called Vegan Design that has picked up 55K followers and over 3 million likes. Using humour, live debates and various strategies to speak up for our fellow animals, Vegan Design has become one of the biggest vegan activism accounts on TikTok.

Country music is the fastest growing genre in the UK at the moment, with songs by country artists hitting the charts and radio playlists. Major country stars like Carly Pearce have tours planned here in the next 12 months, and despite protests from my wife and kids, you can normally hear it in Matthew’s house or car.
Our guest is a rising country star. He grew up in Washington state and has found his way to Nashville, Tennessee.
