A little controversial but spoken straight from the heart. Today we break down what college never could teach me, and how door to door sales was the learning platform that gave me more insight on how business, people, and character development work.
This episode goes over some lessons learned in school vs. lessons learned on the doors. I will add, there is a place for both but for someone who sees themselves as more of an own your future type of person, you will likely find yourself appreciating the opportunity d2d sales provides.
I hope you enjoy.

This episode is full of stories and analogies from our weekend sales retreat at Rio Marketing. We had a fun reunion and had a few activities that carried meaningful analogies to the sales world.
From cold plunging in a lake, to getting dealt bad hands in poker we discuss how these have applicable lessons to you knocking and how you can overcome the urges to fold. I'm confident you will be inspired from this episode to go out and not use any justifications for why you can't compete with the best reps in our industry.

If you are someone looking to hit the golden door award in whatever industry you are in, this episode I'm confident will give you the fire and belief that it's possible and what it looks like.

I love talking about mindset and how to be the best version of yourself... But today's episode is not that kind. Today we get into the weeds of door to door sales and focus and the checklist you should be going through as you are knocking.
We break down the importance of having a morning routine to create little wins to set you up for a positive start. We break down the introduction, qualifying customers, going through your presentation, pricing, how to close, and how to overcome the common objections.
There's a lot to digest in this episode so I hope you enjoy.

If you are a fan of Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki you are going to appreciate this episode. Today we take the 7 principles outlines in his book, summarize them, and give you door to door sales relatable application to them.
In this episode you will better understand what makes someone wealthy vs. someone poor. It's not the paycheck. It's no how many accounts you sold. It's not even how fat your commission check was. It's about learning this foundational rule:
"The Rich Don’t Work for Money, They Make Money Work for Them"
Once you turn this switch on in your brain you make your primary goal as a door to door sales rep to master salesmanship. This skill will enable you to create wealth through assets and focusing on your own business models. But it starts with learning and mastering this skill.
I hope you enjoy. If you do, please follow the podcast.

Today we bring back a favorite guest, Stratton Nielsen @optimalsalesmindset. Stratton was featured a couple months ago on episode 73 where we talked about how to feel your best while selling. In that episode we talked about his experience doing door to door sales and after 4 years getting hit with severe anxiety and feeling controlled by his emotions. He taught us how to change our perspective with our mind and not view it as the one in control... but understanding that there is a deeper true self that ultimately is in control.
Today we piggyback on this discussion. We do a little refresher on this mindset and go more into the mechanics of how to use this new perspective to help you perform better. Stratton gives you step by step practices you can use to help you maximize your control over your emotions and thoughts.
This episode is dedicated to all levels of experience. If you have moments of frustration or wanting to quit... we talk exactly how to view these feelings, and making sure the decision you make is completely aligned with your WHY for doing this job.
