African people were never ready and will never be ready and they are not the only ones exhibiting this behavior. This phenomenon is uniform to all human beings around the world. It’s not only in black people. For Example:
So, as you can see, BLACK PEOPLE are not the only ones with these behaviors. Now, let’s find out the psychological barriers that are behind what Vusi calls not being ready and crab mentality.
What’s really going on in people’s minds when they reject and fight something that is good for them like what Vusi was trying to do.
In this short clip from our previous episode, we talk about things that keep our countries from progressing.
You are the sum of your habits. You become what you constantly do. As the author of Atomic Habits puts it, “Your outcomes are a lagging measure of your habits. Your net worth is a lagging measure of your financial habits. Your weight is a lagging measure of your eating habits. Your knowledge is a lagging measure of your learning habits. Your clutter is a lagging measure of your cleaning habits. You get what you repeat.”
When we are born, we never imagine growing up and becoming our own caretaker. From age zero, we depend on our guardians to motivate, push, and guide us in everything we do. Unfortunately, most of us never prepare for the day that our caretakers won't be there anymore. Taking responsibility is about self parenting, self leadership, and self authoring. Ask yourself these following questions to know if you are responsible.
- If no one told you what to do, would you know what to do?
- When is the last time you learned a skill on your own?
- When is the last time you asked someone for advice?
- Are you consistently searching for solutions on your own?
If your answer to any of these questions is NO, then you need to examine your life.
You are the manager, secretary, and auditor of your days. Take a deep look into your life and take ownership of your life. Spend every hour with intentions doing something productive. They say, luck is when opportunity meets preparedness. It's your job to be prepared in order to be blessed.

Conclusion: Change is the most feared aspect of life. Yet it's inevitable and unpredictable. For more about this topic keep listening and learn how I deal with it.

The biggest obstacle between our desired best life can be narrowed down to self control.
Join Sauti Zetu Team discussing the difference between being civilised and being open minded. This our first episode together face to face since we started working together last year.
Most complaints and disagreements come from lack of understanding. When we fail to listen carefully what the person is saying, they remain unheard which leads to feeling dissatisfied. Our job in any relationship is to understand other people's needs and find a way of meeting them since we are the only people who promised to meet their needs. This goes both ways.
Most relationships fade not because of lack of passion but because of lack of attention and intentionality. To be able to maintain a long term relationship one needs to be able to self regulate, correct, and lead in supporting and meeting their significant other's needs. If you can control your attention and what you do with it, you can definitely build a long lasting relationship. It all begins with ourselves. We blame others while we can't even notice what's going on with people in our lives.
If you want to be a billionaire, you need to reach a billion of people. There is a system to wealth creation and job creation. In this episode you will discover the most obvious system behind wealth. No one becomes rich by accident unless they've won lottery.
There is a reason why Jews believe they were meant to be rich. This doesn't mean all Jews are wealthier. But those who are rich, are those who believe they were destined for greatness. What you tel yourself determines the quality of your life. You cannot become successful is you believe your salvation will come from outside. You will never be free if you believe it's someone else's duty to create that. Those who are wealth, free, and happy in life, are those who believe they have what it takes and can create anything they want in life.
The biggest challenge facing our continent is wealth creation. With the highest unemployment rates, we need to understand how wealth is created which will lead us to be self sufficient. In this episode you will discover how rich we are in terms of row material and resources that is needed to create our own wealth and employment.
If you met the love of your life, would you confidently say you are ready for them? Most of us just know what we want but we have no clue what it takes to keep it and maintain it. The person you are searching for won't just happen by accident. And if they happened, do you know what it takes to meet their needs and maintain a long lasting relationships with them? Everybody knows what is good and great, but few of us want to be the best version of ourselves.
What if the person you've been looking for isn't from your religious background, race, or social class? For most of us, the issues isn't even finding someone who would love us. The issue is our biases, ignorance, and prejudice towards others. If we believe we are all human beings, then let's start acting and doing what we preach. If what we need is love, let be love and not our indifferences. This a compiling story of how two young people found love in the most unexpected places.
