Dr. Candice Nicole Hargons is an award-winning associate professor of counseling psychology at the University of Kentucky, where she studies sexual wellness and liberation. Dr. April Walker is a licensed Psychotherapist in Georgia, Florida, and Texas with over 15 years of experience working with children and adults in a variety of behavioral health settings to include non-profit organizations, group homes, therapeutic foster care agencies and public and charter schools. With a background that consists of working as a behavioral specialist, case manager, school and clinical counselor, Dr. April has played an integral role in mentorship, client advocacy and outreach. Spending her entire professional career under the mental health umbrella, Dr. April’s focus has been centered around collaboratively working with individuals in their efforts to build and maintain positive mental health and wellness.
