In 2021, she was inducted into the Women in Games Hall of Fame.

The next guest on our podcast for the AI week is Sarah Wyer, PhD Researcher of Bias in AI, LLMs. Her thesis focuses on identifying and mitigating gender and social class bias in large language models from an intersectional perspective. Sarah is passionate about diversity and enabling those from under-served backgrounds to develop a career in tech. She is a founding member of the Bias in AI research group (led by Prof Sue Black) and a Teaching Fellow in Computer Science at Durham University, she teaches computer science to students from under-served backgrounds at Durham University and is also a committee member of Durham University Women in Tech (DUWiT) and a Global Ambassador for WomenTech Network.
