To close out this very long but lesson filled month, I figured I give my own personal life update on the way I've learned to cope with depression/anxiety as it comes.
Why is it so hard to stay consistent?! Especially when YOU KNOW in your heart that consistency is the only thing holding you back from where you want to be? It’s like spiritic moments of unproductivity and lack of motivation pass and all of a sudden you don’t know why you’re doing what you’re doing. Suddenly you feel like starting that business isn’t the best idea, promoting your music is a waste of time, taking that next step to get your own place doesn’t seem like the best move (no pun intended)..
Don’t fall for the negativity, STAY CONSISTENT!
To kick off this month being Women’s History month, I decided to give a light introduction to what’s to come and a quick recap of the month of February. Although this is something that should be done every day… Be sure to show love to the women in your life today!
In Part 2 of this episode, Amber and Chris begin a discussion about growth, dealing with the insecurities of others and ways they've learned to handle low moments.
To close out this months topic of 'New Balance', Amber and Chris talk mindset and its connection to lifestyle choices with personal growth, friendships and relationships. Stay tuned for Part 2!
No one ever talks about how hard it can be to clap for others when you’re not where you wanna be in life. Going back to this months conversation about mindset, accepting that everything happens for a reason and that what is meant for you will ALWAYS be for you will allow you to remain content until it's your turn.
After being hurt by people/situations I've always found a sense of comfort in the fact that I could blame them/it for why I couldn't move on with my life. When in reality, it was ME who wasn't allowing myself to move on. Waiting around for closure is old news! YOU are in control of your growth.
In Part 2 of this panel discussion, panelists go more in depth about their personal experiences in toxic relationships and situations.
In Part 1 of this episode for this months topic of 'Self Care', guest panelists openly discuss their personal experiences in toxic families, relationships and situations.
The "sex talk" in the Christian household I was raised in left me with many unanswered thoughts and questions as a child. This episode is dedicated to the kids who grew up with overly religious parents and/or those who simply did not have that special someone to open up to.
As a millennial growing up in a social media society, inner self care had always been my least focus. Between school, toxic relationships and a slight disconnect from my spirituality, something had to change. In this episode I introduce my journey to ‘Self Care’.
