When I was younger, I constantly yearned for knowledge. I’d always been outspoken and first in line to question and challenge authority and what others thought was normal. Nothing made sense to me on a base level and always prompted me to seek a deeper meaning to what others accepted as reality. This search for self-actualization led me to depression, addiction, being labeled as an outcast, and even narrowly avoiding death. While I was talking with the man in the mirror one day, I decided that changes had to be made swiftly to avoid losing everything. The answer became clear to me after a brutal, but life changing 40 day fast I implemented on myself. Not only did it show me how strong my resolve was but how powerful I could become with a strong focus on accountability, and self-worth. The chains of addiction, fatalistic thinking, and codependency fell off and I started reconditioning my brain to start asking deeper questions again but also to be open and honest instead of just trapped within the confines of my psyche. This allowed me to start seeing a greater purpose for myself than just existing alone. It wasn’t long after I broke free from the hamster wheel and started running my own path that a close friend suggested I start a podcast to share my experiences and hopes and that’s how Unseen Twisted Truths was born. Our mission here is to promote honest open dialogue between real people from all walks of life, dealing with real issues that affect us all, and spearhead physical change in the world. We have a fundraiser in place to help keep our local homeless population warm this winter with apparel and bedding and don’t plan on stopping there. When the truth is twisted, and the future is unseen; real talk and unity will be the light out of the darkness

9th Day The Day of the Mazatl (Deer, known as Manik in Maya) is governed by Tlaloc, God of Rain and Thunderstorms, as its provider of tonalli (Shadow Soul) life energy. Mazatl is the day of the hunt. It is a good day to stalk your quarry, a bad day to be stalked. Mazatl is a day for breaking old routines and to pay close attention to the routines of others. This is a day for doubling-back on your tracks.
The thirteen day period (trecena) that starts with day 1-Quiahuitl (Rain) is ruled by Tlaloc, He Who Makes Things Sprout, god of rain, lightning and thunder. This trecena represents a time of alternating drought and flood. There is either not enough or too much. It is a time of hardship and suffering. The rainmaker stands alone atop the mountain, holding firesticks and a medicine bundle: help will be offered but may not be accepted. Some will have prepared for this time but not enough to care for everyone in need. These are good days to pursue solitude and learning; bad days to count on others.

What’s Your Position in the World? Given the United States’ outsized role in the world, and Clinton and Trump’s quite different positions on foreign relations, the time seems ripe for Americans to ponder their positions in the world.
A few years ago, as an assistant professor of sociology at Stetson University in Florida, I taught an introductory sociology class every semester. Early on each semester, when my students learned about the sociology of culture, I would ask them in class “are you a cultural relativist, or a cultural universalist?” I explained that a relativist chooses to respect people’s different cultural practices while a universalist (or absolutist) insists that there are certain universal values and practices that all nations should respect regardless of their particular cultures. Regardless of what you may think or have been told things are bigger than you may know.. play your role and realize you're bigger than all of this..
Vibrations form in many different ways for many different reasons. There are three major ways to vibrate.Love, music and silence. The love vibration lifts us to a higher state of consciousness and frees us of the thoughts, feelings, and actions that minimize and victimize us.Researchers have found that vibrations and the electromagnetic energy associated with them cause changes in your cells, which can then affect how your body functions. Different molecules vibrate at different rates — and those rates can speed up or slow down if conditions around the molecules change.Embracing the power of silence can lead to improved mental health, reduced blood pressure, enhanced self-awareness, and a sense of inner peace.
