When I was younger, I constantly yearned for knowledge. I’d always been outspoken and first in line to question and challenge authority and what others thought was normal. Nothing made sense to me on a base level and always prompted me to seek a deeper meaning to what others accepted as reality. This search for self-actualization led me to depression, addiction, being labeled as an outcast, and even narrowly avoiding death. While I was talking with the man in the mirror one day, I decided that changes had to be made swiftly to avoid losing everything. The answer became clear to me after a brutal, but life changing 40 day fast I implemented on myself. Not only did it show me how strong my resolve was but how powerful I could become with a strong focus on accountability, and self-worth. The chains of addiction, fatalistic thinking, and codependency fell off and I started reconditioning my brain to start asking deeper questions again but also to be open and honest instead of just trapped within the confines of my psyche. This allowed me to start seeing a greater purpose for myself than just existing alone. It wasn’t long after I broke free from the hamster wheel and started running my own path that a close friend suggested I start a podcast to share my experiences and hopes and that’s how Unseen Twisted Truths was born. Our mission here is to promote honest open dialogue between real people from all walks of life, dealing with real issues that affect us all, and spearhead physical change in the world. We have a fundraiser in place to help keep our local homeless population warm this winter with apparel and bedding and don’t plan on stopping there. When the truth is twisted, and the future is unseen; real talk and unity will be the light out of the darkness

24 I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat is planted in the soil and dies, it remains alone. But its death will produce many new kernels—a plentiful harvest of new lives.Did you know the Bible even talks about throwing things away? Ecclesiastes 3 speaks about there being a time for everything. Verse 6 says there is “a time to keep, and a time to cast away.” (ESV) There is a time to get rid of what we no longer use.
