Jehova Jireh - The Lord Provides. Amen! Gen. 22:14 | Aug 8, 2024
Welcome to "Victorious Daily Devotion" in the most loving name of Jesus Christ! 🙋‍♀️💐💐💐 Topic: Jehova Jireh - The Lord Provides. Amen! Gen. 22:14.. Whether we believe or not the Word of God refreshes us, Restrengthens us and Reignites us to life and light in times of obscurity. When we are groping in times of uncertainty He shows us through the Word that He will never fail us. How we grope for the light switch in darkness we can grope for the Word of God which provides our pressing needs.. Does the Lord really provides us? Why then there is lack? Why then there is no good job for me which I'd been praying? Why then I'd been waiting for soo long for my marriage? If the Lord provides, Why then I face financial crunch? These are few questions which often prayed for and waiting for answers by many.. Who used this Word Jehovah Jireh? Under what circumstances it was used? 🤔 Pl read 📚 and meditate Gen. 22: 6 to 14. We know as per the command of the Lord Abraham set forth towards the land of Moriah to offer his only son, Isaac. As they were about to climb the mountain, we see Isaac enquiring with his father Abraham asking so politely "My fathe! where is the lamb for the burnt offering?" Abraham replies too politely with his son saying, "My son, the Lord will provide Hinself a lamb for the burnt offering." Unlike today's generation son did not riducle dad for his illogical reply. Its beyond my comprehension how Abraham an old person could lay Isaac on the altar? Can we imagine how Isaac responded? One thing is evident. He voluntarily obeyed his father. That's the reverence and obedience is the need of present generation. Well, as Abraham was about to slay Isaac an angel of the Lord appears to Abraham saying not to slay his son and provides a ram to sacrifice in place of Isaac. And Abraham named that place as Jehovah-Jireh meaning "God will provide." Jireh is a masculine name in the Hebrew origin. Even to this day that mount of the Lord at Moriah where Abraham did this act of obedience can be seen. See when we go through this passage many questions and mysteries unravel? Did Abraham tell Sarah that he is taking Isaac for sacrifice? To my understanding of the background of Sarah, the Hagar's episode I'm sure Abraham has not revealed to Sarah. What I understand is Abraham was ready to sacrifice and he acted and obeyed in action. Because of Abraham's obedience God fulfilled the need at that scenario. A lamb in place of Isaac was provided. And he called the place Jehovah Jireh. The lesson I learnt and we all can Learn is, it costed Abraham his only son. We need to take such costly decisions to obey the Lord. And then whatever may be my need or your need he will provide. Lord, thank for teaching us thy Word not only refreshes us, comforts us and strengthens us, but provides us when we take decisions of obedience during testing times..... Procrastination Is Like Credit Card. Do It Now (DIN)-Most Powerful Formula For Success | Aug 7, 2024
Welcome to this Victorious Daily Devotion" in the most wonderful and loving name of Jesus Christ! 🙋‍♀️💐💐💐 Topic: Procrastination Is Like A Credit Card. Do It Now (DIN) Is The Most Powerful Formula For Success And Happiness. Do it Now. Sometimes 'later' becomes 'never'. Prov. 10:4. Lazy hands bring forth poverty, but diligent hands bring wealth. "The future depends on what you do today." Mahatma Gandhi. "Your future is credited by what you do today and now, not tomorrow. " "Laziness travels so slowly poverty soon overtakes him. Prov. 10: 4 & 5 Millions of people all over the globe have great plans laid out on paper, but they don't begin. Years pass by but nothing happens. How we spend our time on day to day basis reveals a lot about ourselves. With confidence begin first before we keep talking. We need to know that "doubt increases With inaction; growth comes from progress; so for all reasons, BEGIN. "Procrastination Is like a credit card; it's lot of fun until you realise the danger which is beyond reach." "It's like a the grave in which opportunity is buried." Jeremiah had every excuse ready when God called Him to be a prophet instead of taking the initiative. Moses gave several excuses to God before he took the challenge to lead Israelites to promised land. Help us Lord to do thy work entrusted to us and to do it Now and not to delay.. Help us to be cautious of the time and redeem the time without losing out any good thing in life. Gratitude makes you more resistant to stress and increases your happiness and satisfaction. Friendship Day! Who Is Our Greatest Friend? | Aug 6, 2024
Welcome to "Victorious Daily Devotion" in the most amazing and loving name of Jesus Christ! 🙋‍♀️💐💐💐 Topic: Friendship Day! Who Is Our Greatest Friend? Happy 😊 And sweet friendship day to all! Sweet because true friends are like sweetners adding spice to our lives. True friends brightens our days with kind, warm and encouraging words, actions, gestures and smiles. These friends hold our hands tight when things are tough and bring us the courage we need to carry on when things are rough. These true friends stand 🧍‍♂️ with you in the tough and dark times and come out as light in the darkness. They refresh you and bless you. A true friend inspires us to seek God, and they see that you rise and flourish.. Someone last year enquired with me as why peopke call as 'true friends'? Are there true, bad and fake friends too? The answer is 100% yes. There are true genuine friends as well as bad and toxic friends. We need to seek God's wisdom to chose. If your association is with bad or worldly friends, they will lead you down in life and dent your character too in bad things. There is a saying, "Bad company corrupts good character." There are toxic friends too we must be aware. They are never helpful but take take take from you and leave you once you are down and dry. They only catch people from whom they get help and leave them once they are òdown and work is over. And they also ensure and make efforts to cause your downfall secretly and envy your rise. We need to identify and be careful and wise with such toxic people who come as friends. But I would say with all smiles 😃 there is no truer friend than Jesus. He is the one who knows even our thoughts, our heart, our success.... He also knows our failures, our weaknesses, our shortcomings, our falls, our disappointments our dejection and even times of our obscurity. Unlike the friendship in this world Jesus our greatest friend will never leave us when people leave us, He will never leave us when we face failures and anandoned. But He will be with us and guide us to safety, progress and encouragement. C S. Lewis said, "As followers of Christ, our friendships are founded in Christ." Jesus said in *John 15: 14:* *Ye are my friends, if Ye do whatsoever I command you.* Let us understand! Only when you give give give you are a friend and not take take take and hold back without giving especially when you can and it's in your capacity. In history, Is there any friend on this earth who gave his or her life for someone? No one except Jesus Christ. He gave His best, He lay down His life and become our friend and Saviour. Familiar Song, "What a friend we have in Jesus, all our things and griefs to bear, wat a privilege to carry, everything to Lord in prayer. Ty Lord for being with us and loving us as a friend, knowing our shortcomings and failures.... Thou as a friend become not only our help in times of need but also may you be our shied, refuge and fortress.... If you are blessed with devotion you are welcome to share with us. Trust: Our Trust In The Lord Dispels Darkness And All Fears | Aug 5, 2024
Welcome to "Victorious Daily Devotion" in the ever loving and marvellous name of Jesus Christ! 💐🌹🙋🏽‍♀️ Topic: Trust: Our Trust In The Lord Dispels Darkness And All Fears. Every christian's privilege is to enjoy unbroken assurance while living close to Christ. God wants us to trust Him fully just as fully in the shadow as in the sunshine. For the Word says in Prov. 3: 5 & 6. .... Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thy own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy path. The point here we need to understand that when we are close to Christ our trust level increases and brightens in the darkness. There is Grace enough in Christ to give light and joy in the darkest experience provided we do not drift away from the Master. Yet, it is just as true that many of God's noblest saints , in all ages had seasons of depression when they lost the joy of salvation. And could not speak triumphantly of their hope. It is true also that there have been devoted followers of Christ who never in their life could get farther than to hope they were Christ's disciples. Is this the best the love of God and grace of Christ can do for those who are saved? "Every difficulty we face in every waiting place we have been given a chance to trust in the things unseen and to be abundantly blessed." Cherry Hill. Its only when we are closer to the Lord we can face adversities of life and have the blessings of assurance to run our life smoothly to the shore. Help us dear Lord to trust in the things unseen and know that thou art there holding us from a fall.... If you are blessed with the devotions Pl forward to other groups and friends.. 💐🙏. Two Major Decisions Of Naomi. Ungodly/Worldy Decision And Godly Decision | Aug 1, 2024
Welcome to "Victorious Daily Devotion" in the sweet and loving name of Jesus Christ! 🙋‍♀️💐💐💐 Topic: Two Major Decisions Of Naomi. Ungodly/Worldy Decision And Godly Decision. Life is full of decisions. Day to day decisions and major decisions. Pls read prayerfully Ruth 1 1 to 6 verses. KJV so that you can understand today's devotion easily. We will discuss today 1st major decision taken by both Naomi and her husband, Elimelech. We see here Naomi and Elimelech were living as citizens in a very rich and blessed nation and place, called Bethlehem. Bethlehem means "House of Bread." Elimelech, Hebrew name, means "My God is King" A very proud and blessed name indeed. Naomi means, Pleasant. They had two sons. As long as they lived in Bethlehem the very name Naomi, she indeed has been living a joyful and pleasant life. And Elimelech experiencing God as His king by obeying the commands of king. But we ought to understand life now or 2000 years back, either rich nation or poor nation, blessed nation or a cursed nation or poverty stricken nation, all have their own share of challenges, sometimes Victories, defeats, joy, sorrow, anguish, grief, promotions and demotions. Though they had famine in Bethlehem but still it's a blessed and divine place of Israelites. And the period of dryness will not last long. And grace of God will prevail over the place sooner... But, they took a wrong decision to sojourn to Moab, to enjoy immediate pleasures, knowing it's a cursed nation. The very name Moab means, "Destruction." If we read carefully they decided to sojourn means, decided to stay there for a certain period only, but looked like they stayed for much longer time, till disaster struck them. Naomi's husband died. When we decide to sin one time, it repeats and later we stay in that sin. When we are in sin, we don't know what we are doing. This is what happened. Naomi makes a 2nd mistake. She marries her two sons to heathens, the Moabites. Then we see both the sons died. Pleasant Naomi tasted grief, sorrow and anguish. She was no more pleasant but struck with bitterness and grief. The decisions we chose to take on daily basis, and the major decisions we take are very important. If ungodly decisions or wrong decisions are taken, they not only ruin an individual but the entire family, an entire Organisation, or ministry or an entire church. They all must be taken unitedly in a godly and Christ Centred manner. Whether we take personal decision, or a family decision or a ministerial decision, we ought to carefully, prayerfully and unitedly take decisions lest we tread on Moab and be destroyed. Tomorrow we will see what happens to Naomi when she took her 2nd major decision of her life. Every decision we take will either make us or break us. Every decision we take will either bring blessings or destruction. So Lord, help us to take godly decisions which bring joy peace and divine blessings.... If you are blessed with devotion you are welcome to share with us. God bless! 🙋🏻‍♂️💐💐💐 Benedict James. Our contact for queries or any prayer request @91 97040 28977

Decision Making Can Make Or Wreck Our Life, Can Lead To Prosperous Life Or Destruction | Aug 3, 2024
Welcome to "Victorious Daily Devotion" in the sweet and gracious name of Jesus Christ! 🙋‍♀️💐💐💐 Topic: Decision Making: It Can Either Make Our Life Or Wreck Our Life. It Can Either Lead Us To Blessed Prosperous Life Or Destruction And Ruin. Cheer up dear beloved this morning! We have hope and assured joyful life in His divine Word. It says in Ps. 37: 4. Delight in the law of the Lord and He will fulfill the desires of your heart. We have seen last two days, how two major decisions in the life of Naomi made a negative and positive impact in her life, and in her family and generation. The 2nd decision to Realise, to Repent And To Return back to the God's destined destination, Bethlehem turned her life from bitterness to sweetness and from further destruction to complete restoration. We often hear these words of "Restoration, Breakthroughs And Progress" nowadays and nothing happens to God's children for months and years, be it financial, job, marriage, relationship, or planning to go abroad. It bloats or stirs only our emotions but in reality it doesn't happen. *only when we work hard and turn away from wicked thoughts and deeds and lean on God's counsel and Will it will be a turnaround for complete restoration..* Her name Mara which means, 'bitterness', Naomi tasted in Moab and finally restored back to 'pleasant' befitting her name. So, only when we Realise our mistakes and move out to take godly decisions which obviously will be daunting and challenging like Naomi who made a turn around to follow the God of Salvation, we then will be restored with true prosperity joy, blessings and happiness. It is said that every human being faces hundreds 💯 s of small decisions every day. And every time we come to take decisions we need to check and see from God's lens and ascertain, "Is it God's will? Am I doing it to bring God glory by this decision?" Rather than making decisions based on our own judgement. When we delight in the Lord and in His divine Word He will guide us with His counsel to take right decisions and timely decisions which lead to 'no regrets' but joy and further progressive blessings. Ps 119: 105: Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet and light unto my path. As we take numerous decisions everyday in our lives and sometimes major. And these decisions may mar and break us or may make and progress us. Help us therefore Lord, with your wisdom and counsel to take right decisions as per your will to be blessed and prosper.... Help us clearly not to lean on our own understanding and assumptions but to trust in you to guide us in right path to take right decisions..... If you are blessed with devotion you are welcome to share with us. God bless! 🙋🏻‍♂️💐💐💐 Benedict James. Our contact for queries or any prayer request @91 97040 28977

Naomi's 2nd And Last Major Decision In Her Life | Aug 2, 2024
Welcome to "Victorious Daily Devotion" in the most wonderful and loving name of Jesus Christ! 🙋‍♀️💐💐💐 Topic : Naomi's 2nd And Last Major Decision In Her Life. Here is her 2nd major decision: Ruth 1: 6th verse. Then Naomi arose with her daughters-in-law that she might return from the country of Moab, for she heard from the country of Moab that the Lord has visited His people in giving them bread. Our God is a God of second chance. He has given us freedom. If we go away from Him He will not force us. Because He has given us free will. But He waits for us to return back. There are soo many Christians who tasted the Love of Christ and the praise of Judah and had visited the "House of Bread" in Bethlehem but went back to Moab and literally died spiritually. We know the story of prodigal son in Luke 15th chapter 11 to 32 verses. Father never went out in search for him. Because son went on his own will and interest. But father was waiting everyday for His return. Weeks months and years passed away, but still he has never given up waiting for Him. One day he saw his the same old wayward son far away weak, pale, shabby with begarry dress coming towards home. When the son comes near, he repents of what he did and asks him to keep him as his hired servant. Did the father do that? Immediately he orders for a big feast and to dress a fatted calf and puts on the best robe, and new sandals and a great feast of celebration took place. Similarly the Lord was waiting for Naomi to return back. He is also waiting for all those who left the first love. We will have nothing but sorrow of sin today and the prospect of hell tomorrow. If we are stubborn, God will not force but with love He waits for His wayward children to comeback. Father said, "My son was dead and is alive again. He was lost and is found." Naomi did not have the peace and joy when she was in Moab. She had the consequences of losing her husband and two sons. She was crestfallen and heartbroken. The first major decision wrecked her life and her family. With great joy and happiness I would love to describe with you Naomi's 2nd major decision in her life and ofcourse it's been her last major decision. This decision of Naomi to me has been the greatest and the most precious decision she took. We can read Word by Word in 6th and 7th verse. First thing: She heard in the country of Moab that the Lord has visited His people in Bethlehem. Of course from where or from whom she heard is not written. She alongwith her daughters -in-law rose that she might Return from the country of Moab back to her Bethlehem Judah. Then she left Moab, the sinful and destructive city and moved away from Moab setting her focus to reach her final destination of "Praise" and "House of Bread." 🍞 . She Realised, Repented, Rose and Moved Away from destruction to a place of abundance and praise and joy. The rest of her story is History. Whether you may be a Pastor, Evangelist, Engineer, Doctor a leader. This story of Naomi and prodigal son reminds us that a person's repentance is purely a personal matter between God and himself or herself. And we cannot and must not judge their condition. What spiritual condition we are is known to none but the Lord. You may have everything but you must be missing the important thing. Joy, peace and assurance. The God of Naomi is the God of you and me. If you have lost the joy and happiness you can comeback and be blessed like Naomi with - 1. God's Joy and Praise 2. God's Presence and 3. God's Providence. He knows each and every one of our Spiritual state and condition. Those who have gone away from Bethlehem to sinful world Moab, we pray for their comeback so that you will bless them with Praise and your loving and protective Presence and also bless them with Providence in abundance. .... If you are blessed with devotion you are welcome to share with us. God bless! 🙋🏻‍♂️💐💐💐 Benedict James.

Love, Unity, Forgiving Spirit And Helping Others To Rise Brings Great Blessing
Welcome to "Victorious Daily Devotion" in the marvelous and joyful name of Jesus Christ! 💐🌹🙋🏽‍♀️ Topic: Love, Unity, Forgiving Spirit And Helping Others To Rise Brings Great Blessing. One of the most dangerous thing as a child of God is not the sins that we do, but few 'sins of omission'. One of such sins is unforgiving spirit. When we do not tame it, it grows stronger and stronger and hatred or the grudge will finally ruin our peace, our mental life. And will destroy our joy and keeps a full stop to our spiritual growth. And gradual decay or decline in our physical and mental health takes place. The appetite for growing in the lord will no longer be there though we might be doing many Christian activities. But it will bear no fruit. An unforgiving spirit not only fails to solve anything, but it acts like a poison on our souls. It brings great harm to ourselves. This hatred and unforgiving spirit can be on anyone, be it in the office, or in your own family or could be in the church. The moment you see someone you are offended. Then simultaneously a sort of hatred takes place. The common phrase on the outer... , "Praise the Lord" but inside you never want them to succeed. Who is the greatest person on earth? He is not the one who gives best sermons, not the one who prays good, not the one who religously does Christian activities, but the one who has a forgiving spirit without any malice, hatred and grudge in his or her heart. Millions of families suffer without peace because 'love of Christ' is missing and unforgiveness and hatred is increasing thereby wreaking the peace in the families. Thousands of churches have become fruitless and dry without real growth in Christ because of lack of love and unforgiving spirit among the Body of Christ, though busy with activities. Word of God Says in Eph 4;32: Be ye kind one to another, tender hearted, forgiving one another even God for Christ sake has forgiven you. Forgiveness is not a feeling nor an emotion. It's purely the act of our will. Forgiveness is Christlike nature. Forgiveness allows God's blessings and the power of Joy and Peace. And His blessings are released which have been blocked by unforgiveness for long time. Forgiveness will halt other sins of grudge, revenge, envy and bitterness as the power of God is manifested within us Help us to forgive the trespasses of others so that you will forgive our trespasses and give us peace and power within. If you are blessed with the devotions Pl forward to other groups and friends.. 💐🙏. For any queries or prayer request, you can call us / whatsapp us @ 91 9704028977. Do You Have The Spirit Of Fear Unable To Speak Boldly And Take Bold Decisions? | July 29, 2024
Welcome to "Victorious Daily Devotion" in the most sweet name of Jesus Christ! 🙋‍♀️💐💐💐 Topic: Do You Have The Spirit Of Fear Unable To Speak Boldly And Take Bold Decisions? Paul encourages Timothy to be bold and courageous... Let's prayerfully read: 2 Timothy 1:6,7 & 8 verses. Paul addresses to young Pastor, Timothy saying, "Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. Therfore, do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord.. and share with me in the sufferings for the gospel.." I shared this passage in several places. Here Apostle Paul, mentor of young Timothy encourages him - we can see in 5th verse to stir up the gift in him, or rather to horn the gift he received by laying of hands on him by Paul. Probably what I understand from the passage is, since Timothy was a young pastor he may have to come across several leaders much older and powerful and wordly ritualistic leaders like Pharisees and Saducees. 2nd thing I l noticed is, Timothy must have been shy and timid, and afraid to speak the truth to share boldly for living a holy life. We see even in the present days many are afraid to share the gospel of Salvation and Word to live a holy life instead speak emotion stirring words often like favour, breakthroughs, enlargement, progress.. This alone gives a rise to false or weak faith. So, Paul urges and encourages Timothy saying, since Timothy has the gift, he tells him to be an extrovert, bold and courageous shuning away his cowardice and timid nature. And in 8th verse, Paul says to Timothy not to be ashamed to share the testimony of the Lord. This word 'spirit of fear' means cowardice or timidity. A person with a spirit of fear or timidity may shy away from proclaiming the gospel or upholding the truth of God's word. This happens because of an impending sense of threat or danger whether it is real or imagined. Life is filled with situations and conditions that can intimidate us. Sometimes, we are afraid of our past and how it may influence our future. Sometimes we are afraid of the challenges that we face - can be a child, teenager, or can be elderly people. The spirit of fear often constricts the heart. However, there exists a different kind of fear – the fear of the Lord – which expands our hearts and fosters a vibrant connection with the Divine. It is crucial to cultivate a discerning eye to see the profound distinction between these two forms of fear. Lord thank you Lord for speaking to us to shun away the cowardice and timidness to confront any Goliath like situation we face. And be bold to share the gospel of truth with power - but in love.... What Does Blessed Mean? Who Are Entitled To Be Blessed Or To Be Called Blessed? | July 27, 2024
Welcome to "Victorious Daily Devotion" in the most loving name of Jesus Christ! 🙋‍♀️💐💐💐 Topic: What Does Blessed Mean? Who Are Entitled To Be Blessed Or To Be Called Blessed? We often hear the Word Blessed in the Bible. We observe elders and Pastors using the Word, "God bless you.; God bless your family." The word Blessed has several definitions; Biblical point of view, a blessed person is one who is in a relationship with God the Father through Jesus Christ and who no longer submits to the worldly desires but to the Word. Meaning of "blessed" means, an inner peace, an inner bliss, an inward joy that is not affected by circumstances... Happily favored by God; enjoying spiritual happiness and the favour of God. There are 509 times the Word Bless/Blessed/Blessing is used in Bible. The word "Blessed" is used nine times by Jesus Himself in a single chapter while preaching the beatitudes to His disciples. Those who love the Word and diligently follow to obey it, they are called blessed. Few of the verses from the Bible: Psalm 01:1. Blessed is the man that - Walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. We must not in anyway be associated with the wicked. Ps. 119: 1,2&3: Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord. Undefiled means, living a clean flawless, spotless life walking in the law of the Lord. They are blessed. 2nd verse; Blessed are they that keep His testimonies, and that seek Him with whole heart. In other words blessed are those who declare the truth and seek the Lord with the whole heart. Help us Lord to be called blessed and may we be blessed by associating with godly people and move away from wicked people who lure us to sin and destruction. Help us Lord to seek you with the whole heart and be away from doing iniquity..... If you are blessed with devotion you are welcome to share with us. God bless! 🙋🏻‍♂️💐💐💐 Benedict James. Bethel!Sleeping Place Of Jacob Became The God's Meeting Place | Ps. Benedict James | July 15, 2024
Welcome to "Victorious Daily Devotion" in the sweet and loving name of Jesus Christ! 🙋‍♀️💐💐💐 Topic: Bethel! The Visitation Of God. Sleeping Place Of Jacob Became The God's Meeting Place. Gen. 29:15: And, behold, I am with thee; and I will keep thee in all places thou goest.... I will not leave thee untill I have done that which I have spoken to thee of. This is the promise one of my close friend scribbled on the last page of my Bible way back in 1986. Now he is in New Zealand. What a great and assuring promise of hope. "... I will not leave thee until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of..." Yes... truly this is the Lord's promise. It's become part of my life. And this promise is for every child of God who loves and Knows him. This is the promise I shared to the church this Sunday. Lord knows our heart. Lord knows our condition. Lord knew the heart of Jacob. We see here in Gen. 28: 1 to 28 the encounter of God with fearful and anxious Jacob. People call Jacob a deceiver. But I understand, he is not. He simply obeyed his mother's advise. It's the instructions given by mother to deceive and give the blessings due to Esau to Jacob. And Jacob obeyed his mother. Subsequently seeing the danger He was asked by his own father, Isaac to immediately go away from the house to his uncle's Place. We see in 7th verse of Gen 38. Again he obeyed his father and mother. God probably saw Jacob's heart more closer to God and more loving towards God than Esau. We see in this chapter later, his life of thanksgiving heart. As he lay tired, the Lord Visitated him. He immediately sensing God's presence, built an altar thanking God which He might have observed from his father and grandfather Abraham. Jacob probably as he was traveling he must have been looking back in fear if Esau was following him. We must understand when we have fear and anxious moments we quickly become tired and exhausted. Jacob too was tired. And so He lighted up and tarred there all night probably with fear. And took few stones and put them under for his pillows. And behold! He had a dream and saw Angels descending and ascending on a ladder. And behold the Lord God stood above it and spoke and blessed him reassuring the promise given to his father, Isaac and grandfather, Abraham. And ends up blessing Jacob. Verse 15th we read, "I will not leave thee until I have spoken to thee of. Jacob was refreshed, re-strengthened and reassured. . And he took the stones and set it up as pillars and called that place Bethel, meaning God's meeting Place or House of God. Did you have a personal Bethel encounter with God? Or when was it last you had this Bethel experience? If not, this is the time to surender and have a blessed Bethel experience.. Let's be refreshed, restrengthened and reassured. To have a meaningful and happy life, everyone has to have the visitation of God personally and have that Bethel experience. And claim that blessing that God will never leave us until He does what He has spoken to thee of. Thank Lord for a tired anxious fearful Jacob you have visited and gave a special Bethel experience. And Blessed him so much so that that chosen people are called after Jacob's name, Israel. May you give us the blessings of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob to us and to our generation. .... Faith And Fear. If Faith Rules Our Heart, Fear 😨 Dissppears | Ps. Benedict James | July 12, 2024
Welcome to "Victorious Daily Devotion" in the ever loving and sweet name of Jesus Christ! 🌹💐🙋🏽‍♀️ Topic: Faith And Fear. If Faith Rules Our Heart, Fear 😨 Dissppears... When we are not close to the Lord Almighty, when we don't practice His presence in our day to day lives, we will have only little faith and fear dominates us and paralyses us from moving forward. You don't dare to take new decisions and strive to fly higher. Let us read Mark 10: 46 & 47. And they came to Jericho: and as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great number of people, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the highway side begging. And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, "Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me." We must not let our fears control us! We need to face our fears by drawing closer to Him and strengthen our faith in God. Fear has an incredible ability to paralyze our potential—to keep us from launching out with faith. When we choose fear over faith, it makes us skeptical. Fear keeps us from trying new things. It makes us selfish because we’re afraid to commit to God and to others. It makes us short-sighted; we focus on the past and not on the future. Bartimaeus—a man who was blind and wanted Jesus to give him sight—faced a fear that is familiar to many of us: the fear of rejection. He knew that people would look down on him if he shouted out to Jesus in a crowd. But he was desperate. And he knew that Jesus Christ was the only one who could help him. Look what happened when he shouted out to Jesus: “Many of the people scolded him and told him to be quiet” (Mark 10:48). They probably said things like, “Don’t do that. Be quiet. Don’t make a scene. Surely Jesus Christ isn’t interested in you. He has more important things to do.” The devil whispers things like that to lot of us every day. When that opportunity for faith comes into our heart, thoughts like, “God surely wouldn’t be interested in you” or “Don’t make a scene” or “What would people think of you?” may keep you from trusting God. When you see an opportunity to change, shouts from inside and around you tell you not to rock the boat which is still. But God is asking us to do something greater than we have ever done before: He’s asking us to depend on him completely. Don’t you think that’s going to feel a little bit scary? Of course it will. Bartimaeus was probably scared too, but here’s what he did: “But he shouted even more loudly, ‘Son of David, have mercy on me!’” (Mark 10:48). When God asks something of, you have a choice. Are you going to fall back on your fear and stay the way you are? Or are you going to tame your fear and step forward in faith. Let us come closer in our walk with Christ and trust Him completely and attempt greater things for our own blessing and for His glory. Lord search our hearts, save us from lack of faith and strengthen us constantly through your divine Word. In ..... If you are blessed with these devotions Pl forward to other groups and friends.. 💐🙏. If God Is With Us Who Can Be Against Us? Rom. 8:31 | Ps. Benedict James | July 11, 2024
Welcome to "Victorious Daily Devotion" in the precious name of Jesus Christ! 🙋‍♀️💐💐💐 Topic: If God Is With Us Who Can Be Against Us? Rom. 8:31. Lot of times in our lives people of our own inner circle suddenly come up against us inspite of no wrong from our end. Things sometimes go against us. Situations go beyond our control. Even David felt that he was all alone when Absalom his own son and the entire Israel kingdom turned against him and tried to kill him. Sometimes you may feel like everyone deserted you. There are soo many characterscin the Word of God who too felt alone and lonely. Cheer up dear beloved! Everyone goes through this phase at one point of time or the other. You are not the only person. This world is reigned and ruled even in earlier days during Christ era by leaders like Pharisees and Saducees who have soo much knowledge but very little practical life. Elijah did a great miracle and boldly mascsred 450 false Baal prophets and the next moment he felt all alone and fearful. And therefore he pleads and implores with the Lord to take away his life. Why? One threat by one wicked lady, Jezebel, husband of King Ahab was the cause. As the Word of God becomes dearer and dearer to us nobody can stand against God's children and we can stand firm like a strong pillar. This promise becomes real in our lives. The lord in all occasions not only saved them but destroyed those who were against God's anointed. Lord protected Elijah encouraged Elijah His servant and strengthened Him. The Lord Himself avenged Jezebel and said in 1 kings 21:23. "The dogs will fight over and eat the flesh of Jezebel." Absalom wanted to upsurp the throne of anointed king David, his own father. David was protected by God and made Absalom to be hanged to the branch of the tree and was killed. Eventually David reigned over the kingdom. The promise "If God .... becomes real in the lives of God's trustworthy children. There are many Jezebels and Absaloms who dared to touch God's children and look like they are winning but eventually they will be destroyed and God's children will be protected. Help us Lord not to feel discouraged by the circumstances and by people who try to discourage and harm us. Protect and preserve your children from harm and danger of enemies. Who Is The Happiest Joyful And Peaceful Person In The World? | Ps. Benedict James | July 10, 2024
Welcome to "Victorious Daily Devotion" in the wonderful name of Jesus Christ! 🙋‍♀️💐💐💐 Topic: Who Is The Happiest Joyful 😊 And Peaceful Person In The World? Its not the billionaires who are happiest, not the celebrities, not the wealthy and bright, not those who are in power. It doesn't depend on such things. Happiness and peace doesn't depend on where you stay. A person or a family may be in Canada, Australia, USA, India or the poorest South Africa. The comforts and luxurious life doesn't guarentee joy and peace. Ps. 32: 1&2. Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven whose sin is confessed and admitted. Blessed means, happy is he, joyful is he and peaceful is he.... And in his spirit there is no guile. Confess sin and forsake sin is a clean heart. No guile means no cunning nature but clean n pure motives. Then who are the happiest persons in the world? Let's Remember this biblical truth. Holiest person is the most happiest, joyful and peaceful person in the world. Holy means - Those who enjoy a clean heart before God. Means anyone without any hidden unconfessed sin, not hiding it before God has a clean heart. Such people of God enjoy His presence and blessings. Holy or holiness is derived from a greek word which means, to set apart, to be separated. To be separated from the world and be identified as the children of Christ by our deeds and motives. David hid his sin; he did not confess his sin to God nor to His kingdom. What happened? God did not spare even a king like David. David lost the joy, peace and rest. And he needed a warning from the prophet Nathan. Joy and God's Presence was restored only after David admitted his sin, confessed and repented of his sin. A heart who admits sin, a heart who doesn't give excuses, and a heart who has a change of heart not to repeat the sins is a clean heart. That makes a person's heart clean and pure. India Goverment's Annual Cleanliness Survey has adjudged Maharashtra as the cleanest state in India. How grateful to God you and I can be if we are cleanest persons before God? We all need to have that thought and desire to have a clean heart before God at any point of time. And not on just Sundays or during christian meetings. What I get if I do this? What motive we do is known to God. Do we do it to help others, bless others and build God's kingdom or do we do it for our selfish ends? If we do it to bless others and build His Kingdom then our hearts are clean before the Lord. Help us Lord to desire to have a clean heart with no unconfessed sin at any point of time, and with pure and sincere intentions to help and serve others. And be a blessing and not be a thorn and obstacle in the lives of others .... If you are blessed with devotion you are welcome to share with us. God bless! 🙋🏻‍♂️💐💐💐 Benedict James. Blessings Of A Blameless Upright And Obedient Person | Ps. Benedict James | July 9, 2024
Welcome to "Victorious Daily Devotion" in the most precious and loving name of Jesus Christ! 🙋‍♀️💐💐💐 Topic: Blessings Of A Blameless Upright And Obedient Person. As I shared earlier Ps. 119 author is unknown, Anonymous. Let us mediate on 1st and 2nd verse.. Blessed are the undefiled in the way; who walk in the law of the Lord. Blessed are they that keep His testimonies and that seek Him with the whole heart. He unfolds the blessings if we walk in the law of the Lord, means to walk a righteous path. If our path of life is undefiled. Means, one who is not corrupt, not impure, not tainted, not blameful, but free from blemish. Those who are free from unbridled sin or sin beyond his or her control. Undefiled means not to be self righteous, pride, self indulgence. And the 2nd verse Blessed all those who seek His testimonies means a solemn declaration or covenant made with the Lord by someone are blessed people. And it says blessings are there for those who seek the Lord with the whole heart. The blessings of walking in the law of the Lord. We are blessed means, to be granted special favour by God, resulting with rest, joy and satisfaction. Blessed means those who prosper, those who flourish on being obedient. We are blessed, if our walk is blameless and, they can be achieved by obeying the Word of God. This walk cannot be NOW & THEN but must be consistent with the whole heart. Such a lifestyle will help us not to be ashamed when we see in the mirror of God. A lifestyle of wholehearted obedience brings God's blessings and freedom from shame, reproach and humiliation. Help us Lord to walk in the law of the Lord and be undefiled from corrupt things of this world and from impure lifestyle and give us your grace to live a blameless and blemishless life....
