We often hear the Word Blessed in the Bible. We observe elders and Pastors using the Word, "God bless you.; God bless your family." The word Blessed has several definitions; Biblical point of view, a blessed person is one who is in a relationship with God the Father through Jesus Christ and who no longer submits to the worldly desires but to the Word. Meaning of "blessed" means, an inner peace, an inner bliss, an inward joy that is not affected by circumstances... Happily favored by God; enjoying spiritual happiness and the favour of God. There are 509 times the Word Bless/Blessed/Blessing is used in Bible. The word "Blessed" is used nine times by Jesus Himself in a single chapter while preaching the beatitudes to His disciples. Those who love the Word and diligently follow to obey it, they are called blessed. Few of the verses from the Bible: Psalm 01:1. Blessed is the man that - Walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. We must not in anyway be associated with the wicked. Ps. 119: 1,2&3: Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord. Undefiled means, living a clean flawless, spotless life walking in the law of the Lord. They are blessed. 2nd verse; Blessed are they that keep His testimonies, and that seek Him with whole heart. In other words blessed are those who declare the truth and seek the Lord with the whole heart.
